JDI events for array types (ArrayReference)

What is the best way to get information on the creation of arrays (ArrayReference types). I have an application that needs to detect the creation of objects, set watchpoints on the variables of these objects and create an object based on this targetVM-object. I do this now through the MethodEntryEvent and check wether the method is a constructor. If so, I check the declaringType of the object AND set watchpoints on it's fields. This does not seem to work with array type objects however...
I use a not-so-pretty workaround now where I check watchPointEvent for the type of the field that is altered. If it's of type ArrayReference, I create an array based on this ArrayReference, I have to do the same for locals at each stepEvent. Isn't there a better way. Do array types not use constructors so I could use the same way as for other objects (see first paragraph)?

Pretty creative efforts! Unfortunately, array creation isn't done by constructors, it is done by bytecode instructions.

User event for array of waveforms with attribute

I have been transferring data in a Producer/Consumer architecture via User Events. The data consisted of an array of waveforms. When I added an attribute to the waveforms the code breaks with two errors about Create User Event: User event data type is unnamed or has elements with no names or duplicate names, and Contains unwired or bad terminal.
From reading the help on user events it is not clear that arrays are even allowed: "user event data type is a cluster of elements or an individual element whose data type and label define the data type and name of the user event."
From experimentation it seems that arrays of numerics and arrays of wavefroms without attributes work. A single waveform with an attribute can also be used. But an array of the same waveform with attribute leads to a broken run arrow. It also appears that I can put the array of waveforms with attributes inside a cluster and then create the user event.
Is this a bug, an undocumented corner case, or some "feature" that I do not understand?
Searching for User Event for Array of Waveforms generates some interesting, but mostly irrelevant results.

Deserializer not found for array Type...

I hava a web-Servicd deployed in AXIS - is Takes an array of a complex type and returns one.
Everytime i run the service the service properly does the processing and returns the correct Object.
When the client receives the REsponse i get the following exception

Receiving modi Event for Arrays

Hi, is their a way to receive modificationEvents for arrays?
i currently get accessEvent on int[], but i need to get modificationEvent on the values of the arrays i.e. (int type) array[0] = 25, array[1] = 30.
The excludes for the debugger are String[] excludes = {

When i get a classPrepareEvent, i create a modification and access watchpoint for each field for that class and then use the classExclusionFilter using the excludes above, then enable, the request.
here's the debuggee code:

The only way i found of recording the changes in the array, is keeping the old value from the accessEvent, then the next event (after the access, which coudl be anything, methodExit/entry, field modi), check to see which value is different then show that value in my trace. But this is totally not a good idea.
Currently my trace looks like this:

Does anyone have any ideas how i can receive ModificationEvents for adding values to arrays?? Really need some help with this. I did try with Vector by including it with the classes to fire events but when the add method was invoked, it called other methods as well and messed the trace up. Add() method also calls ensureCapacityHelp() for Vector as well but i jsut want to see the add() method in my trace.

First of all let us understand that the due date for net payment is considered from the payment terms that are being defined in the contract account , which in addition considers the payment terms of FI ( accounts receivable and payable ) and calander as defined in the payment term .
If the requirement is that the payment terms should be immediate for a particular document type and in in rest document types it should consider the one mentioned in contract account .
In that case you can user any of the event which gets fired at the time of posting of FICA document , check for events pertaining to posting of document and write a custom code for substituting the payment terms for specific document types .
It would be more clear if you specifiy that from where are you posting the document . is it FPE1 or at the time of invoicing or through sanding request ?

Using XSLT "adapter" for invoking a WS with SOAP-ENC array type param.

I had to write a BPEL process that calls inside it a web service which has as an input an array parameter and as an output, also an array. I already know that BPEL has limitations regarding using the SOAP-ENC Array type. I tried to rewrite the web service in order to use a literal encoding of the array parameters (using "maxOccurs" attribute), but unfortunately, the OC4J container 9.0.4 that I have to use doesn't allow this. It only allows the SOAP-ENC types for array types.
I started to write, inside the BPEL process, some "adapters" XSLT transformations before and after the invoking of the web service that uses SOAP-ENC array. The XSLT transformation before the web service invoking will translate the input array parameter defined with no SOAP encoding types (based on "maxOccurs" attribute) into a SOAP-ENC type, as it is expected by the web service. The XSLT transformation after the web service invoking will translate the returned array SOAP-ENC type into a data type defined with no SOAP encoding types (based on "maxOccurs" attribute).
The approach is pretty hairy, from the XSLT point of view and it introduces a supplementary delay due to the XSLT processing needed, but it works. The only think is that when I build the service, I obtain the following error message:
[bpelc] [Error] GCDBWebservice?WSDL:30:42: src-resolve.4.2: Error resolving component 'SOAP-ENC:Array'. It was detected that 'SOAP-ENC:Array' is in namespace 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/', but components from this namespace are not referenceable from schema ...
But in spite of this, the process is built and deployed successfully and I was able to run it from the BPEL console.
Do you think that this approach could hide some other future problems that I can't see in this moment?

Starting event for MQSeries control

I am new to Integration. I'm testing a simple MQSeries control. I just want the control listen to a q, get the message and put the message on another q.
What is the starting event for this type of process? Do I have to use a message broker?

You can use the control only from an already running process. I you need to start a new process, whenever a message arrives in a MQ queue, then use the event generator, which communicates via Message broker events.

Hi all,
So I've have built an application on flash builder 4.5 using Christophe Coenraets' tutorial "Building an EmployeeDirectory" (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/employee-directory-android-flex.html#articlecont entAdobe_numberedheader).
I'm getting this error message "In initializer for 'mxmlContent', type Object is not assignable to target Array element type mx.core.IVisualElement." and then the debugger highlights my code this line of my code "</s:List>" in my EmployeeDetails.mxml file. This started after I coded Part 5, Step 2 "Integrating with the Device Capabilities: Triggering the Actions". The rest of the code debugged fine.
I think it relates to Christophe's note "Note: Make sure you import spark.events.IndexChangeEvent (and not mx.events.IndexChangedEvent) for this code to compile.". I don't know where to place this
" import spark.events.IndexChangeEvent;" line of code.

You have a DataGrid directly inside a State element. Perhaps wrap it in an AddChild element?

Ok, that won't work...you need to generate an image tag and provide the contents of the blob column as the src for the image tag.

We have a Synchronous Interface from SAP -->PI-->Unifier .The WSDL response has array type and when WSDL is imported it is showing red (I was able to activate and use it in mapping) .We are able to send the request successfully and when retrieving the response we are getting mapping error .Please find the attachment for reference and response message from unifier .I feel that the error is because of array type .Could someone throw some light how we can solve this soon as it was a bit urgent .

I tried to create the Data Type and use the same instead of using the WSDL from External Definition but did not helped.Request your help in this.I have attached the WSDL for reference .

Thanks for the help.I tried to use XSLT mapping for request and try to read Response as a single string but i was getting an error in SXMB_MONI with Cannot display document format,Do you want too save it to harddisk and i could not get rid of this even after pressing Yes in popup .
Can some one help to extract only the xmlcontents from the above response and map it to target where the target structure looks like

Please help. Preflight is flagging multiple 'Incorrect value type for array element in index N" > Required key /F is missing >Array element at index 0 is of wrong type' messages for pages throughout my text document with embedded navigation and annotations.What does it mean? Is there anything I can do?
The origins of the file are from a selection of emails taken from Mail and gmail, and letters probably written on pc (Office) and converted to pdf...
I'm on Mac Mavericks.

RFE for new array type

I was going to add an RFE for a new parameterized array type but first I wanted to know if anyone knew of an existing RFE for this.
It has occurred to me that the solution to the 'array problem' might be to just create a 'new' array class and implement some operator overloading. The following demostrates the basic idea though the actual implementation could be very different:

        internal[element] = item;
}Something else that is interesting (to me) about this is that to some degree, generics makes the array type system obsolete, at least for Object types. There's no need for a different synthetic type for each array type. Generics achieves the same goal and does it better.
The core of the request would be to implement the new array type with the overloading like the original array types such that we can do something like this:
Array<String> a = new Array<String>(10); // or new Array<String>[10];
a[0] = "test";
String s = a[0];Any comments?

OK, we all agree that from a theoretical standpoint
arrays of subtypes should not be assignable to arrays
of supertypes.
But what strikes me is that this knowledge has been
brought to general attention only after the
Generics extension showed us what "variance" and
related stuff really means.
Before Generics, there has not been a
pressing issue of rampant ArrayStoreExceptions in
production code!
Nor were there rampant ClassCastExceptions. The real value of generics is that it's much more expressive.
The reason for this is probably that 90% of all array
accesses are read accesses, where variance
does not pose a problem.
Right on the contrary, being able to treat a
T[] as an Object[] is extremely
convenient!
So I'm playing devil's advocate here in saying that
the initial design decision to make Java arrays
variant was actually a good one!The real issue that this is meant to address is that we cannot create arrays of generic types, only cast to them (with warnings) and the array variance rules allow for raw types to be assigned to generic type array references without warnings. The net effect is that generic array types are destabilizing to generic code. The new typesafe array type would be a work-around for this issue.
