Jdk-7u75-windows-i586.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Hello all,
I am having trouble in installing jdk on my window vista which is 32-bits. I have downloaded jdk from download.oracle.com/otn-pub/java/jdk/7u76-b13/jdk-7u76-windows-i586.exe.
I have tried all things mention in discussion jdk-7u3-windows-x64 installation issues
I will appreciate any help.
Thank you in advance.

Can you elaborate on the type of trouble you are having while installing? Error codes?

i downloaded skype update and when I click open a window pops saying C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\SkypeSetup(1).exe is not a win32 application

What's the name of the file you are attempting to open?  Is it "ScreenFlow_4.5.2.dmg"?  If it is the correct name then the message is correct and you are attempting to open a file with DMG files extension and not one with a PDF file extension.  Adobe Reader opens PDF files an not any other file type.

  • I am trying to download icloud control panel via icloudsetup.exe to windows Toshiba laptop and get a message" \icloudsetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. Can anyone help? I am new to Apple stuff.

Need help for icloud photo stream, have activated ps on iphone 4 and set up icloud back up for email, contacts, iwork, and find my ihone. Need to find photos that we thought were being saved/shared as well but evidently not. Found on another search that I may need the icloud control panel so tried to download it but when try to install i get, C:\Users\Downloads\icloudsetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I am using a Toshiba laptop with windows 7, which the system requirements are met. I am new to Apple stuff, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

It suggests the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • Windows reports that iTunesSetup.exe is not a "valid Win32 application

Every time I try to download iTunes, I receive the following error message: iTunes: Windows reports that iTunesSetup.exe is not a "valid Win32 application."
I have followed the instructions on the support website (uninstalled all versions of iTunes and QuickTime then reinstalled QuickTime without iTunes and then tried to install iTunes again). I continue to get this message and it has not been resolved. Please help!!

It might help to clear out Internet Explorer's temporary files then try downloading the iTunes software again.

Trying to install Skype click to call and receive the error message, "skypeclicktocall.exe is not a valid Win32 application" XP SP3 32bitSkype V. 7.6.0.105uninstalled and reinstalled Skype. I have a subscription for unlimited outgoing calls and since Skype does not allow importing contact lists from Google, click to call would be very handy.

Windows 8.1 ADK comes with a newer version of USMT (NOT 5.0) and crashes. I learned this today the hard way. I hope Windows 8.0 ADK's loadstate.exe works for restoring to a 8.1 machine.
Yesterday i used Windows Easy Transfer to move from XP to 7, and then re-did the backup in 7 so it would be compatible with 8.1, and it only restores files, not settings.
So i will test USMT 5.0 in this same scenario, because i have 30 machines to change to newer machines with 8.1

  • Error 'RecoveryMgr.exe is not a valid Win32 application' when trying to restore in Win7

I really hope someone can help as this is driving me mad!
System details - G62 Notebook running Windows 7
The notebook crashed after a Windows update and wouldn't boot up.  I made it into the recovery manager and back my files before restoring to factory settings.
Since getting back in I am unable to get my files back.  I have tried through the recovery manager but it does not allow me to see the files on the dvd.  I have also tried through backup and restore but no joy there either.  When I click on RecoverMgr.exe on the dvd I get error 'RecoveryMgr.exe is not a valid Win32 application' and it won't open.
I hope someone has managed to solve this before as I would love my files back.  All suggestions greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Thanks Mumbodog.  Unfortunately I have tried and the files won't copy.  Starting to think they are corrupt!  Have tried on a few different PC's but no luck.  Really annoyed   Any other suggestions?

  • Unable to open itunes, "itunessetup(1).exe is not a valid Win32 application

Forgive me if I'm an idiot. I bought my husband an Ipod Shuffle for Xmas. I spent hours downloading the latest itunes only to have an error message pop up at the end that itunessetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I read another post about people having better luck with older versions of itunes and downloaded 6.0 with no problem, saved a cd on it, and then when i plugged in the Shuffle it gave me an error message that said it would only work with the newest version of itunes. The apple website recognizes that I have already downloaded the new version, but nothing will happen other than the error message. Husband is already saying I should just sell his new shuffle, and I'm feeling stupid that I can't figure it out...can anyone help please? Thank you.

THis is a common problem for people downloading itunes on dail up and/or with corrupt versions in there temp folders.
If you are on dail up, you need to first download and install whats called a "Download manager". These programs will usually make sure the download goes correctly, will start the download where it stops should the connection be lost, and can usually be set to re dail to your internet provider if the connection is lost (Handy for late nights when you goto bed and leave a big download going). Theres quite afew different ones out there usually free, Id recommend looking around on the net and get the one you feel comfortable with using.
THen you can try the download again.
Also try emptying your temp folder in your browser

    "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\BIN\sqlplus.exe is not a valid win32 application".

please anyone help me out to solve this problem.

You'd have to find out how and why that file became 0KB in size.
If one file is 0KB in size, what assurance do you have that other files aren't
    also corrupted ?
It could have been a virus-scanner wrongly attempting to quarantine the file,
it could have been a backup-restore session that copied the file back as 0KB,
it could have been some command that you executed in attempting the upgrade.

  • It says 'iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.'?

The way my company has set up software installs means we have to save any application to the hard drive and then run it from there.  It's supposed to keep unwanted stuff from being loaded onto computers by less than tech savvy users, but it makes it hard to load even innocuous things like iTunes.
When I 'save' instead of 'run' from the applet, I get a very brief download (comparatively) and then when I try and manually run the .exe file, I get the above statement in an error message.  If I select 'run' from the intital download popup, it takes much longer to download, but then can't load because it's not been run with admin privledges (which you do get if you download an application file first and then manually 'run' the install).  I suspect the two options don't give you access to the same files, but how can I download the actual install program to run it manually?

  • Gwshlsnd.exe is not a valid Win32 application

For the most part the Groupwise 2014 client has been upgrading on Windows XP and Windows 7 workstations successfully.
However, I have at least one Windows XP computer (with all the authorized updates) that is giving me troubles.
The computer has the GW 2012 client before the upgrade and the GW 2014 client install completes successfully and I am using a jump drive with the installation on it. Note: I've used the same jump drive to install on several Windows XP and Windows 7 workstations with out any issues.
When the user uses their right mouse button and clicks on a file that he wants to attach to a message and then selects "GroupWise recipient" he gets the error message "gwshlsnd.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
This XP is a 32-bit version of Windows XP.
    I've tried several things:
    1. Upgraded the client to the 2014 version.
    2. uninstalled the client, cleaned up the directory (deleting c:\Program Files\Novell directory) and installed the 2014 client as an install (instead of an update)
    3. uninstalled the client, disabled all services (using msconfig), rebooted, enabled two services (Plug-n-Play and Windows Installer) and installed the new
    client.
I have a feeling for some reason a dll file is not registering correctly, but which?
Perhaps this could be motivation to replace at least this Windows XP computer - ha!
    Any suggestions?

I would get the CleanIT tool from Messaging architects
    https://www.novell.com/communities/c...eanit-groupwis
    e-70-80-2012/
It will remove all traces of any older clients and registry settings. Though
all user client customizations not stored in the user DB will be lost.
    Then re-install the GroupWise client.
