Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

I am using a code based typesetting program (not WYSISYG) that outputs PDFs. I am producing 100 plus pages that have multiple graphics on each page. I need to know how to format a PDF command that I can incllude in my programming that will tag my graphics with "Alternative Text".
I know that with a Microsoft product graphics can be tagged before a PDF is made. I need to know how to do this with my programming.The Acrobat SDK might be a starting point.
From there, perhaps a plug-in (built with C+).
Perhaps with a licensed release of a PDF Library (this could be $$).
The viable and cost effective alternative is use the tried and true.
Authoring in an appropriate authoring application with appropriate tag management.
Example: Adobe InDesign; Adobe FrameMaker or MS Word with PDFMaker (comes with install of Acrobat).
This way you place "Alternative Text" when mastering content in the authoring file.
Going the route and with some look-see (research) you may find programmatic approaches to placing the alt txt in the authoring file.
Note: as discussed in the Matterhorn Protocols there is no programmatic method that provides a fully accessible PDF (specifically, that is an ISO 14289-1, PDF/UA-1 compliant PDF).
Regardless, here you have a sub-forum for discussions on Acrobat usage.
Consequently discussions on/of 3rd party software is rather out of scope eh.

Merci pour votre aide.What do you want to convert the file to? If it is an AS2 file and you want it to remain an AS2 file then there is no need to convert it since it is what you want it to be. (It is possible the translator did a terrible job with translating your posting to English).

Code runs correctly when compiled by SQL developer but not SQL Plus
I have a rather large package body I need to deploy and compile ... It's big and complex (I inherited the project). Our it dept is huge and scripts are deployed by the dba team and they seem to only use sql plus. My code deploys and runs fine when compiled in sql developer. Once I compile it from SQL plus it stops working. It runs and using debug statements I can see the values are correct but it no longer inserts the data into the proper tables. I get ZERO errors or warnings when this is compiled in SQL Plus and no errors are generated from the code at run time. I've diffed the extracts of the code from the DB after each deployment and the only difference is the blank lines which SQL Plus strips out when you load the file. Has anyone run into anything remotely similar and if so how did you solve it? I've tried modifying the code to no avail, adding in comments to preserve the white space makes no difference. The thing that really kills me is that there is no error at all.
Ok this is the problem area.... vReplyMessage is a clob. I've replaced it in this section of processing with a varchar2(32000). And now it works. I still would like to know why though. Nothing is changed when I load it though sqlplus or sql developer but this line " update swn_recip_response_t set SWN_RECIP_RESPONSE = vTextReply where notification_id = v_notification_id; " would never execute with the clob. Logging showed that the clob had the correct value though. I am puzzled.

SQL*PLUS: Setting a concrete RETURN CODE
I don't know how to force a concrete EXIT CODE for in a SQL*PLUS process.
I use "WHENEVER SQLerror EXIT SQL.SQLCODE" and a "EXIT SQL.SQLCODE;" at the end of the process.
But I need to be able to exit the process with a sqlcode "54" or "23" or whatever I want...
Any suggestions?

I am currently writing an SQL*Plus (Oracle 10g) that has a big logic and somewhere in the middle, I have to call a host command, which is an C++ function.
I call it using
SQL> HOST cd
SQL> HOST cd bins
SQL> HOST ./my_procedureBut, I need to get the return code of my procedure to see if it finished correctly?
I checked [the manual|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14357/ch4.htm#sthref883] but they don't say anything about return codes.
When I try:
SQL> host echo $?
0It always returns 0, even if I SIGTERM or SIGKILL the child process. Anyone has an idea on how is it possible to retrieve the return code?

Office Jet Pro 8600 plus printing in code or foreign language :(
I have been having issues with the print on my Office Jet Pro 8600 plus lately. In the beginning it was random but has becom regular.
At first glance, it appears to be printing in German in stead of English. It's possible that it may be code or encryption. Some of the characters run together. It seems like there may be a driver problem. This doesn't happen when I print to other printers.
One line looks like this: hf of sbuf e/!!SDSB !l X !jt ..... It should actually be something any of us could understand. It's becoming costly in both paper and ink.

I can not find the printer email/code to get more apps on my Photosmart Plus B210
My printers App section has the "get more" button and it directs me to HPePrintCenter.com , so I doubt it isn't compatible. However, when I follow the directions to get the printer's email/code the Wireless Network Test Report that prints automatically when I re-establish the wireless connection there is no information suggesting the printer has such an address.
I am absolutely lost as to how to get this code now.
Any help would be appreciated. =DI bought a HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One. setup was quick and easy and nothin went wrong as far as I know. my problem is that I cant add a printer in my account at the hpeprintcenter because it asks for a printer code. It says my printer should of printed it out after the setup. that didnt happen. so now i cant find it and dont know where to look. the only icons on the display of the printer are the fax setup wizard, wireless network wizard and an icon called 'Discovery'. within discoery there are icons named eprint, and web app and two others i cant think of. when I click on one of them, it doesnt bring up options for settings, it just brings up little 'animations'. what should I do? is there a way to restore the printer completey and start again? or any other solution? It's connected via wireless if thats relevant. Thanks for your help!
