    Hi,
The panorama image is obviously too wide for the screen so you have two choices.
    1) Shrink the image to fit the screen
In the slideshow editor, select the panorama slide and in the property box (to the bottom right), select Fit on Screen. This will cause a border to appear at the top and bottom.
    2) Pan the image
In the slideshow editor, cselect the panorama slide and in the property box (to the bottom right), check the Enable Pan & Zoom box. Click on the Start icon and position the slide to, say show the left side of the image. Then click on the End icon and position the image to the other end. Now when you play the slideshow it should pan along the image.
    Hope that helps
    Brian

  • Edit Pictures.cr2 in Photoshop Elements 6.0

I can't open files CR2 for editing in photoshop element 6.0.

  • Photoshop Elements 6.0 Problem

Thanks in advance for any help. I've been using Photoshop Elements to sync Collections to my iPods; I select only the collections I want to sync.
Since updating PE to v. 6.0 (I converted my Catalog), I see the "Collections" I created with version 5, but none of the new "Albums" I've created with 6.0. This is true when I check the Photos tab on either my Touch or my Classic.
    Thanks again for any help.

I think you can edit the registry to create a key that will point iTunes to the right place to see your albums. The question however is: did Adobe change the format of the 6.0 catalogs enough so that iTunes will be able to understand what it finds? I don't have PSE 6.0 so I'm only guessing at this answer but it doesn't take much effort to try.
Here is what you can try:
    1) In PSE 6.0 make sure your last opened catalog is the one that has your collections to sync.
    2) Open the registry editor and export the key:
    HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\6.0\Organizer
    3) Open the file in an editor and change the '6.0' part to '5.0'. Save the file.
    4) Right click on the file and choose 'Merge'.
What this will do is create a a path to your catalogs that iTunes can see. Try opening iTunes and determine if it can find your photos.

  • Compatibility of Photoshop Elements 5 with Premiere Elements 7

I have Photoshop Elements 5 and have created an audio slideshow in it, but I was told that in order to get it to DVD that can play on things other than my PC, I'll need to get Premiere Elements. Is that right?
If so, would I be able to buy just Premiere Elements 7 and use it to do this and to do other stuff with PSE 5?
Or would I need to buy Premiere Elements 7 with Photoshop Elements 7?
    Any help is really appreciated.
    Thanks!

I am not 100% sure but I believe that PSE5 will only create a VCD... so will not burn to a DVD but only to a CD. Some DVD players will play VCD discs, not sure if all will.
If you buy PE7 you would need to export your slideshow in WMV format and bring this into PE7 for further work/burning.

  • Missing Camera Raw Dialog Box in Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows.

    Hello,
I have Photoshop Elements 8 for Windows. This runs on a 32-bit Windows Vista VirtualBox virtual machine.
It has been running fine, but suddenly opening raw Nikon images no longer opens the Camera Raw Dialog box, but takes me straight into editing on Photoshop Elements.
I really like having the Camera Raw Dialog box open as I do most of my image processing using this before opening the resulting file in Elements.
Does anyone know how to get this box back, or to open it from within Elements?
I have tried opening the images from within Photoshop Elements using the "Open As..." mnu item from the File menu, and the selecting "Camera Raw" as the image type, but it still opens without the Camera Raw Dialog box.
    Thanks very much.

Check your screen resolution settings for vista.
I believe the screen resolution needs to be at least 1024 x 768 for the camera raw dialog to show in pse 8.
For example, if instead of running VirtualBox full screen, your running it in windowed or seamless mode and made the window smaller by dragging on the corner, that would automatically lessen the screen resolution in vista.

  • Where is RAW editing in Photoshop Elements 13?

I have purchased the CD for Photoshop Elements 13 (not the Premium version) and have uploaded to my computer. I have an Olympus XZ-1 camera and am saving images as RAW (.ORF) files.  I have uploaded recent updates to Photoshop Elements 13, including RAW 9.0. I cannot find reference in Help for Photoshop Elements 13 how to edit RAW files.  I cannot find a tutorial how to edit RAW files in Photoshop Elements 13. Do I have to purchase Photoshop Elements 13 Premium in order to have RAW editing capabilities?  Should I upload Adobe DNG Converter in order to edit .ORF RAW files with Photoshop Elements?  I did find a set of tutorials on the Adobe site called "How to make non-destructive edits in Camera RAW."  But Photoshop Elements 13 does not have all the features that are described in this tutorial.  I would appreciate your help.  Carl Baird [email protected]

The Camera Raw plug-in when hosted in Elements only has three tabs, Basic (toning), Detail (sharpening, noise-reduction) and Camera Calibration (camera profile).
What version of the Camera Raw plug-in is listed in Help / About Plug-ins / Camera Raw?
What happens if you are in the PSE  Editor and use File / Open in Camera Raw and go select a raw file from your new camera?

  • I have photoshop elements 5 and i cant open NEF files help

i am new to editing i set my camera on raw and now photoshope elements will not let me open the pic says wrong file how do i open them now.
    thank you

    Instructions:
Delete or move the existing Camera Raw 8bi file (see below) from the File Formats Folder.
Click and download the plug-in from the above link (R_Kellys link says for PSE6 but will definitely work with PSE5 also)
Open the zip folder you just downloaded and click Extract Files.
You should see the plug-in file you need. The plug in has a file name: Camera Raw.8bi
Now drag the plug-in file (or copy it) into the File Formats folder in the following location:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Plug-Ins\File Formats
If you are using a 64-bit edition of Windows, move and install the plug-in file by navigating to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 5.0\Plug-Ins\File Formats
N.B. Before you start the download you need to do some preparation. Navigate to the File Formats Folder and move Camera Raw.8bi  I suggest you move it from the File Formats folder to My Documents or drag it to the desktop before you begin. This will prevent it being overwritten by the new Camera Raw file (it will have the same name) and you can always move it back again if the download installation fails.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 Problem

I bought and installed Photoshop Elements 11 yesterday on my Windows 7, 64-bit computer.  The first time I ran it, it asked if I wanted my PSE-10 catalog converted, so I said Yes.  The conversion failed.  Now in PSE-11, when I select Manage Catalogs, I do not see my old catalog listed, only the new one that PSE-11 wants to create.  Also, in Manage Catalogs, the browse button does not work.  Help!

It’s often a question of needing full permission settings and the easiest way to make it work is from an administrators account directly from the desktop which bypasses the welcome screen background processes.
Make a shortcut for organizer as follows:
On Windows right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose New >> Shortcut
    Browse to Computer OS C:
Find the PSE Organizer application in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
    C: >> Program Files (x86) >> Adobe >> Elements 11 Organizer
Within the Elements 11 Organizer folder find the application PhotoshopElementsOrganizer (not Photoshop Elements 11.0)
Select (highlight) PhotoshopElementsOrganizer and click Next
    Then click Finish.
Now right-click on your new desktop icon and choose “Run As Administrator” Then authorize by clicking yes in the User Account Control dialog.
    From the Organizer menu click:
    File >> Manage Catalogs
    Then click the “Convert” button
Select your desired catalog from the list of previous versions of PSE to highlight it then click the “Convert” button down below it
You should receive a message when the conversion has been successfully completed and your earlier catalog will be automatically re-named. Choose the new name from the list and click the “Open“ button and you are good to go.

  • Photoshop elements 12 and elements premier

Will there be any difficulties downloading a hard copy of photoshop elements 12 and premier elements, when I have a copy of photoshop elements 6 installed.

No, it shouldn't make any difference, although if you have the windows version of PSE 6, PSE 12 will copy and (hopefully) convert your catalog. But you should still have the copy available for use with PSE 6. However, any changes made in either version will not be seen by the other.
