Jerky scrolling on mobile devices with Muse website

We have just built and published our first website on all three platforms (desktop, tablet and phone) but the vertical scrolling on the Phone and Tablet pages is jerky, and struggles to render the text smoothly compared to other websites when scrolling. All our images are optimised to the minimum size, and the pages are just simple html with images, with no complicated actions or behaviours. They appear jerky across both Apple/Android and Windows devices and also across the various browsers on each device. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Thanks for the response.
Since I posted the question, we have solved the problem by removing the sticky navigation bars which appeared to have default scroll effects applied to them. Do mobile devices not like the parallax scroll effects from within Muse, as obviously we would like to reinstate the sticky navigation if possible in the future?

PDF files on mobile Devices with iOS and/or Android

I would like to use PDF files (with embedded JS Code) on Smartphones and Tablets with iOS and/or Android.
Are there Apps out there that not only display the contents (the "graphics") of the PDF file correctly
but also execute the embedded JS Code properly on such devices?
And if so, which Versions will be supported for
     Adobe Pro?
     iOS?
     Android?
Are there freeware or shareware Versions available?

Since the mobile devices, smart phones, tablets, eReaders, do not support JavaScript the app you use will need to provide the JavaScript support. Not all apps provide this support for JavaScript. The apps that support JavaScript only support a limited number of features so you will need to test the PDFs, the device and the app.
The version of Acrobat that runs on your computer will not work on your mobile device since the CPU's, Central Processing Unit, machine code is very different since the devices have different CPUs and the storage space to hold the code on the mobile device is much less than your desktop or laptop.
Adobe Mobile Reader does support some JavaScript but not date formatting and not document level JavaScript.
Expert PDF for the iPxx supports the largest amount of JS but still does not support all the possible JS that could be used in a form.

Reach different devices with same website

Hi,
I have developed a website using spring and hibernate mostly. I now would like to also make it accessible from mobile device. Is there maybe a (framework) that can change the response my website is sending into content accessible by the mobile device.
This thing came to my mind because usually developers develop a website for the personal computer and another for the mobile device. However today there are also PDA�s out there! So would they need to develop another website!
Also usually a company has a domain such as �www.company.com� Now is there a way how to know what type of browser is trying to access the domain, and if it is a browser on a mobile then you give him the mobile version else the pc version, and so on!!
Web development for mobile is still new to me and I only find a document from w3c schools on the internet talking on such a thing (standards mostly). However I am mostly interested in technology to help me do this out.

This method would return the client agent (eg: IE,mozilla,netscape,WML client...) of the client....
NOTE: If U r using Legacy clients like an APPLET,Swing,MIDLET ..... we should take an initiative to add in a requestproperty.....
But i think this should help u by certain means....
However i would like to add in a point here....
It wud be a better idea if U can go wid a neutral architecture.... where the output of your View layer is a text/xml reponse.... & Your presentation layer should take care of handling specific clients....

How NW Mobile can achieve this is:
1. By creating BAPI Wrappers (these should follow the CRUD principle)
2. Then you import these BAPI Wrappers as 'Data Objects' into NW Mobile.
(In your case, I guess you would have a Data Object relating to instances of Consignment Stock Movements)
3. Then you create distribution rules (this will define which data object instances will flow to which devices)
4. You create and deploy an application on your device (you can write whatever business logic you want in your application, including taking inputs from a user, or doing manipulations to the data object instances)
When the user uses your application, changes will be done to the data object instances, either due to synchronizing data with NW Mobile (to get latest set of changes to the instances) or by creating, modifying or deleting the instances in the device.
Later, when the user synchronizes with NW Mobile, the changes made to the data in the device will be forwarded to the backend via the BAPI Wrappers which you created earlier.
This, in essence is how NW Mobile works.
If however, you want to replicate the logic that is being performed in your BAdI in your mobile device, there are only two ways to it:
1. You rewrite your logic in your mobile application (in Java, or whatever language it is that you wish to develop your application in)
OR
2. Say your BAPI Wrapper internally causes your backend to call certain BAdI's. But this is of no concern to the NW Mobile system itself.
An example of #2 would be:
Every time your user modifies a 'Consignment Stock Movement' in the device and syncs with NW Mobile, NW Mobile will call the MODIFY BAPI Wrapper in the backend (SRS system). The MODIFY BAPI Wrapper will trigger a workflow, or run an SAP shipped report or whatever it is that will lead your BAdI to be called... Finally, all this will cause some change to be done to your 'Consignment Stock Movement' in the backend. Which will get pushed to the NW Mobile system and the next time the device syncs with it, this change will be reflected in the device as well.

Issues syncing mobile devices with Exchange 2010

We are having issues with with Activesync, every so often the w3wp.exe process takes up most of the cpu and mobile devices either stop syncing all together or become very slow to collect email. I have gone through everything that I can find and have
hit a dead end in my quest for answers. When it happens I can fix it easily by either performing an IIS reset or killing the process.
Most of what I have read points towards one of the mobile devices hitting the server to often pointing to an issue with that device. I have gone through all of the logs as suggested but I need to know how often is to often. I know which devices
are hitting the server most often so do I just assume that these are the problem.
Even if I know which devices are the problem how do I go about fixing them so that they no longer cause issues. Simply blocking them from the server is not an option as they need to collect their email on their mobile devices. Also If a user
has more than one device do I combine their hits on the server or is the amount of hits on a per device basis.
Do the size of users mailboxes or number of object effect this.
In the organisation we have iPhones, iPads and Windows phones.

I still have not gotten to the bottom of this but here is some more information.
We are running Exchange 2010 and the Apple devices all have either iOS6 or iOS7 installed. I believe the issue is with an iPhone 5s with iOS7 installed as when I go into the worker processes in IIS on the Exchange server the MSExchangeSyncAppPool shows
that it is using the CPU. If I then double click on it I can see that every time there is a problem the same iPhone
is connected to Activesync and has Type=iPhone&Cmd=MeetingResponse. I know who's device it is and as per usual with these things it is the CEO's iPhone so I need to wait until he is back
in the office to have a look at it.
I will update my this thread once I have more information.

XML sending to Mobile Device with KXML + Bluetooth

I am using a N73, WTK22, EcipseME and KXML 2.3.0. I initalized a Bluetooth Connection between my mobile and my desktop application. So far, so well.
It is possible to send simple String-Messages to my mobile device via DataOutputStream (dos) / DataInputStream (dis).

But.. for sure, i need to send XML messages. Therefore, i send a XML File byte for byte from my desktop application to the mobile like this:

As u told kXML can be used for devices like 6630 nokia. so i downloaded the jsr files of xml.plz tell me how to use kxml to make a xml file from a text file consisting of text and data residing on the device and send to the server to process it..for the time being tell me how to use kxml...any good documentation abt its usage in Netbeans IDE 6.1...

If Google has already indexed your site, it will keep checking your site, but make sure you update sitemap in google webmaster tools, if you have some new pages in new site, google will index them and if you have some pages renamed or removed asked google to remove it. Email issue with muse website

I have recently uploaded a client website built in Adobe Muse CC to business catalyst www.michellehardyphotography.com and www.michellehardyphotography.co.uk. Both sites are working.
I have a small problem I need to link the contact us form (portraits@) to my clients email address which is held at bt internet not through the domain.
Can anyone please explain how I do this?

Please login to the site's admin panel on BC, navigate to Site manager > Webforms > Notification Email and add the desired email address in the "Email Address" box. You can add multiple email addresses by separating them with a semi-colon.

I was so excited to publish a mobile version of my site. Created, previewed - all looks great. Published. The home page looks fantastic! But the menus and links don't work. At all. I have checked the links in Muse and they are pointing where they should....what gives? As for the menus - those are automatically connected to the pages, right??? This is not good. Not at all. Pair Mobile Device with Lenovo 3000

My bluetooth on my Lenovo 3000 is turned on and I can see my mobile phone when I try and pair the device. I add in the passcode on my phone and on the screen when requested but the phone will not pair. Any advice as to what I am doing wrong and why it will not work..

Can I make a Mobile site with Muse and then go through PhoneGap?

I would like to use Muse to design a mobile site then use phone gap build to package it as an app. Is this possible? I was thinking I could export as HTML and then use those files or even move those to dreamweaver then to phone gap...

I tried building an App through PhoneGap, but I keep getting a error when I try to create it for IOS. It asks me for a key? Do I have to be an Apple Developer to create an App for IOS. I don't necessarily want my App going through the App Store, I just want my mobile site to prompt the visitor to click on a button to download the App to their home screen.

Not working in mobile device with port :8083

Alo! I've been following step by step the guide in here Shadow + xip.io: Virtual Hosts Workflow Simplified | Adobe Edge Inspect Team Blog and I could see the site on my desktop. My "problem" is that when I try to watch on the iPhone I got a 403 error. Anyone knows why? Does anyone could succeed with drupal and 8083 ports? I'm more designer rather developper and I guess this error is related with some permissons with apache configuration but wich apache? The desktop one or the acquia app?? I've spent almost two days seraching and trying everywhere without succeded. Hope anyone could help. Thanks in advance!
