Jetpack usage

My Jetpack is spiking AGAIN. I have called to get this fixed and after being told they'd send me a new one and it didn't happen and I had to call to see where the replacement one was and was told they'd really send it out this time (still have yet to see it and it was due today). I really want this issue fixed and now everytime I shut my Jetpack off and log the usage, when I turn it on the next time it shows an increase of .1 GB. How does it keep doing that when the device is turned off?  It's been happening for almost 2 weeks now. This is getting so old. I really like the convenience of the Jetpack but am at the point of walking away from the contract due to the pain of having to watch my usage minute after minute after minute.

    muttandjeff,
I am so sorry to hear of the issues you are having with the data usage on your jetpack and not receiving your device as promised. Did you receive a tracking number for the order that was placed for the new jetpack? Were you provided with an email confirmation that the order was placed?

  • Jetpack Usage Spiking HELP

For unknown reasons my jetpack usage has totlay spiked even tho my usage has not. In fact if anything my usage has decreased. I do not watch videos or download anything on my laptop and I watch my device to see if any other computers are on there besides mine and there never are. The only things I do on my computer is check email and go to Facebook. My first month totaled 6.8 GB, then 5.12 GB (this month we had company and others were using the system also)  , 5.9 GB, 6.4 GB. then last month 8 GB and now we are half way into my billing and already I am over 4.1 GB.
There is something wrong here and it needs to be fixed ASAP. Please HELP.

I'd have the same concerns that you do, muttandjeff. But I do agree with Kinquana's recommendation. My wife's line has seen a spike in usage as well, and it's not the result of one or two videos. Facebook's video settings have changed to where they can and do start running automatically as you scroll through your timeline (you may have noticed this). That feature can be disabled through your Facebook settings.
Also, I use my Usage Details feature at www.verizonwireless.com. It allows me to see the dates, times, and amounts of data being used on all 5 lines on my account, so that I can see what activities cause the most data usage.

  • Verizon Jetpack Usage doubled overnight!

I have 18G Usage, but this Past Month Bill, billing cycle January 17th to February 17th 2013, I  just received No Usage warnings! Never saw a 50%, 75%, or 90% usage Percentages!!! grrrr and then I got and OUTRAGEOUS Bill saying I used 40G = $474.14 I called Verizon and told them to cut my bill down to the agreed billing of $100 plus $20 fee and taxes or I will refuse to pay and will get an attorney to investigate this bogus overage. The Tech guy said he Can Not test my Jetpack, that he could not bounce a signal off my device like DSL and Cable Companies can do with thier modems. He said all he can do is confirm usage.
The sad thing is that Proves my case, is that I was never received the 50%, 75%, or 90% or You might be charged overages on next bill TEXT Warnings! So, Case should be closed! and bill should be reduced to less than $130. right? Not what the Verizon Technican told me. Maybe there is a hack involved? Because already less than 10 days into a new billing cycle according to verizon operator and online www.verizonwireIess.com I apparently have Already used 75% of my 18G Usage as of Feb 25th, 2013. I call this Hog Wash! I been hacked! By whom? By what? well all I know my Computer is Clean of any viruses and malware! How do I know? I clean and repair computers for a living.
    Oct.17th - Nov.16th $140.
    then Nov.17th - Dec.16th $130.
    then Dec.17th - Jan.16th $160.
    BUT!!! Jan.17th - Feb.16th $474.14 !!! I call Balony Sandwiches!
I bought my Verizon Jetpack Wireless Hotspot unit in the Middle of October 2012 and first bill was all messed up. I started with 6G and then finally stopped at 18G being a comfortable level. Verizon fixed the errors on my billing.  Because I was told, I can keep adding usage time and that there would be no xtra charges for upgrading, balony. Well you are allowed actually only One Free upgrade per month and backdated only once per month on billing cycle. Also, If I wanted to downgrade minutes, I could, but would not go into affect untill the next billing cycle. I received Usage warnings every billing cycle ever since October 2012. It starts at 50%, then 75%, then 91% and then it says On your Next bill you might see Overage Usage Charges on your next Bill.
So, what Legal Help can I get? Cause I am not gonna stand for this.

I was barely using my Internet last month and I check my usage every month for text messages from Verizon and never receved a single message, I check my jetpack once every few days. I just figured and never went over the 50% mark.
Plus,  Just a couple hours ago the Verizon Operator & Technican that I am already less than 8 days into a new billing cycle my jetpack and online www.verizonwireIess.com account says I have Already used 75% of my 18G Usage as of Feb 25th, 2013, just 8 days into New Billing Cycle.
Can U explain that to me?
I call this Hog Wash! I been hacked! By whom? By what? well all I know my Computer is Clean of any viruses and malware! How do I know? I clean and repair computers for a living.

  • WAY OVER limit jetpack usage

After just upgrading to a jetpack, I was told that I wasn't gandfathered in to my old (8 years) unlimitied data. No big deal since I've never gone over 2 Gig, and for the last few months rarely go over 1 Gig.
I was shocked when I started getting overage alerts basically going over a 10 Gig limit, I called Verizon and the guy helping me agreed that it was CRAZY even when seeing my past history and even noting that my devices were actually still using less than 1 Gig. HOW can this be? He put note on my account and instructed me to shut it off any time I'm not using it over the weekend and he will follow up with me on Tues. In 3 days it has just added almost 2 Gig.
I searched online and found HUNDREDS of people complaining about the same issue. Who is stealing all of our data??? How can YEARS of no more than 2 Gig of usage go to 12 Gig???
I wonder how much typing this note will cost me?

I have been with Verizon for more than a decade, and I don't think I have ever been so frustrated.  When one of the people on my family plan needed Internet access, I thought that purchasing a Verizon Jetpack™ 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot 890L would solve his problem.  On Saturday, February 16, he and I purchased the hotspot, and he installed it that afternoon.  By midnight, I received a text message that he had already used 50% of the 5GB monthly allowance.  Today, two days after he installed it, I received notice that he has used 4.25GB of the 5GB allowance.  At this rate, I will soon owe much more money than I can afford--and he needs Internet access. He turns off the hotspot when he is not using the Internet, he has not streamed movies (he has no movie streaming account such as Netflix or Amazon), and he has password protection on the account.  After surveying these discussions, I now realize that we are experiencing what hundreds of other Verizon users are--and I don't know what to do about it.  I guess this is a long-winded response in support of your complaint--and I wonder how much a single email will cost any person who has decided to use the Jetpack.  Can this be returned?  Does anyone know?  I am ready to drop this unit and help this young man move to a prepaid plan from TMobile or Virgin Mobile.

  • I am having a data excess usage issue with my Jetpack although I did not use the VZW network at all.

Background: My home does not have access to landline internet and I am relying on a Verizon Jetpack device rather than satellite cable for internet access.  Within my JetPack wireless network I have several devices connected, iPADs, PC’s, printer, etc. (up to 5 devices can be connected with my system).  Recently, I had one device within my immediate wireless network that I needed to transfer data via FTP to another local device within my immediate network.  The receiving device FTP’d data from device (198.168.1.42) to local IP (address 192.168.1.2).  To understand the data path a Trace rout for this transfer is 198.168.1.42 (source) to 198.168.1.1 (Jetpack) to 192.168.1.2 (receiver).  Note that the VZW network ((cloud)/4G network) was NOT used in this transfer nor was any VZW bandwidth used for this transfer (of course less the typical overhead status/maintenance communications that happen regardless). Use of the VZW bandwidth would be something like downloading a movie from Netflix, (transferring data from a remote site, through the VZW network, into the Jetpack and to the target device).  I also understand if ones devices have auto SW updates that would also go against the usage as well.  I get that.  My understanding of my usage billing is based data transfer across the VZW network.
Now to the problem: To my surprise I was quite substantially charged for the “internal” direct transfer of this data although I didn’t use the VZW network at all.  This does not seem to be right, and doesn’t make much sense to me.  Usage is should be based on the VZW network not a local Wi-Fi.  In this case, Verizon actually gets free money from me without any use of or impact to the VZW network.  Basically this is a VERY expensive rental for the jetpack device, which I bought anyway.  Considering this, I am also charged each time I print locally.  Dive into this further, I am also interested in knowing what is the overhead (non-data) communications between the jetpack router and devices and how much does that add up to over time?
Once I realized I was getting socked in bandwidth, as a temp solution I found an old Wi-Fi router, created a separate Wi-Fi network off the Jetpack, but the billing damage was already done.  Switching each device back and forth to FTP and print is a hassle and there should be no reason the existing hardware couldn’t handle this and charges aligned with VSW usage. Is purposely intended by Verizon? Is this charging correct? And can I get some help with this?
Logically, usage should be based on VZW network usage not internal transfers.  All transfers between IP addresses 192.168 are by default internal.  Any data that needs to leave the internal network are translated in to the dynamic IP addresses established by the VZW network.  That should be very easily detected for usage. In the very least, this fact needs to be clearly identified and clarified to users of the Jetpack.  How would one use a local network and not get socked with usage charges?  Can one set up a Wi-Fi network with another router, hardwire directly from the router to the Jetpack so that only data to and from the VZW network is billed? I might be able to figure out how to have the jetpack powered on but disable the VZW connection, but I don’t want to experiment and find out that the internal transfers are being logged and the log sent after the fact anyway once I connect…. A reasonable solution should be that users be able to use the router functions of the Jetpack (since one has to buy the device anyway) and only be billed for VZW usage.
Your help in this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i do not have a backup of it, so i am thinking about replacing my old hard drive from the water damaged into this one, not even sure if that would work, but it did not seem to be damaged, as i recovered all the files i wanted off of it to put onto this mbp
the previous owner didnt have it set to boot, they had all their settings left on it and tried to edit all the names on it, had a bunch of server info and printers etc crap on it.  i do not believe he edited the terminal system though--he doesnt seem to terribly bright(if thats possible)
tbh i hate lion compared to the old one i had, this one has so many more issues-overheating,fan noise, cd dvd noise

  • Why did my data usage skyrocket with Ellipsis Jetpack?

My old wifi went down and the Verizon office sold me an Ellipsis Jetpack. My data usage immediately started going up although my Internet habits remained the same. I turn the Jetpack off when I'm not logged in and I changed the setting to only allow one user. I changed Facebook to not automatically start videos and I hit pause on every video that comes up on news feeds. I feel like I'm getting ripped off. I saw some discussion here earlier (can't find it now) that others are having the same problems but saw no answer from Verizon. Also, there are no diagnostics available online to see what is causing my usage to be so high and someone suggested that Verizon is blocking access to the information. Would I be better off finding a different wireless internet provider?

Same thing happened to me.  Can't understand why.  We'll see if they charge overages.

  • Ellipsis jetpack mismatch data usage with alerts

Ok, I have the ellipsis jetpack and for the past couple months I've had varying data usage issues...
This month, it mysteriously used more than 2 gb of data minimum without anything to my knowledge, being connected to it.
So I up the data and just dismiss it as the PlayStation 4 bring on and "the crew" coming out, since it may have updated content while I was sleeping for the other 9 gb.
But this morning, I have an email saying I've used 90% of my data allowance (of 20 gb). email time is 1:52 am, yet both the website and the jetpack show the data usage as of 6:18 am today 12/13 to be 15.3 gb (website says like 15.336).
This is frustrating to say the least, and really makes me like Verizon is trapping me into paying more money!
I also have family guard on the device and it's currently set to not allow more than 17 gb. It's been setup that way for probably a week now.
Also, before I upped the data cap from 10gb, I got two alert emails for each alert level, hours apart.
The first 50% was around probably 10 am, the second was late that night, after eight, I believe. Right around that same time, I got a 75% followed by 90, and later, another each of 75 & 90.
Imagine the frustration! Especially now that I'm paying an extra 4.99 a month to protect myself from going over the usage limit!
I was playing a ps4 game last night online (the crew), but didn't download anything outside of that, and watched a video or two on the net, both were short videos. All worked fine, and didn't have the email alert until this morning when I woke up.
Also: this is my first post, done from a tablet, so I'm sorry if it goes to wrong place

  • Is there any way to limit usage on certain jetpacks?

    Hi~
I have a shared everything plan 40GB.  I live in the middle of nowhere.  I homeschool and need to do a lot online. Area monopolized by satellite which is an awful but necessary evil.  When it rains, forget TV or internet.  They do still offer dialup.  Ha!  Anyway, so I chose this plan and it has been "okay".  The signal is spotty and the 4G I was told I would get is hardly what I get on my phone when I am in the main cities.  Still, we make do.
Here is my current dilemma.  My elderly mother in law is staying with us for... a while.  She is not a pro, but she can certainly get online.  Of course, I have passwords (of my own making).  My kid put a password on her laptop when she said she needed to check email.  Well, it turns out that granny likes to play online games.  The ones that stream.  She sucked up all 40 GB in a few short days.  Uploads, downloads, you name it.  She has been told time and again that the usage was OVER.  That she had to wait for it to roll over.  She was still going online.  I was in a panic with the emails about overages, etc.  I had to disconnect the boxes and take out the batteries, just to be sure.
I do know that the boxes can be configured to only work with the mac addresses you designate.  That's great.  I did that with the first one, but not yet with the newer one, b/c it was only my husband, myself and kids-we are all VERY clear on usage.  So, yeah..the one she has been using is the newer one b/c we trusted she would listen to what we told her.
My question is this:  Is there any way that I can create a dedicated user "account & password" to her and then limit THAT usage?  I know something kind of like this can be done for kids phones, but no clue about boxes.  I really don't want to have to block her, but I cannot afford to sacrifice my kids education b/c she wants to play games.  My spouse will never deny his mom anything, but he gets mad when told the usage is gone after a week.  My usage is about to roll over again and I NEED it.
I asked a rep on "live chat" & they couldn't help-told me to call.  I will call, but prefer to do it during the week, when no one will "overhear" and get offended.  Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance'

Windchimes74, oh wow! That is a lot of usage in a short amount of time. We do have a great application called Family Base. You can restrict the amount of time/amount of usage that a particular device can be used. By doing this you can put a limit when Mom is online. Once the jetpack reaches that limit it will not allowed to be downloading anything else. This package is $5 a month for the whole account. It is an awesome feature that I myself use for many lines on my account.

  • Over usage with jetpack MiFi5510L

I have had this jetpack device for about a year now. I used to have a 4g broadband device that plugged into the usb port which quit working so verizon recommended the jetpack. At the time my date plan was 5GB allowance. Before I got this device I never would exceed the 5GB . When I got the jetpack I went over  the 5GB right away. So I went up to the 10GB plan. With out doing anything differently than before why would my data usage go up just by changing to this new device. Since I changed to the 10 GB plan, I have gone over twice. I am the only user, I live by myself. I have read in many of the verizon forums that this overage problem is happening to more people than just myself. Anyone out there have any answers to what might be going on.

Sounds like your computer is downloading (or uploading) something in the background that you may not be aware of. Software updates take quite a bit.

  • Unbelievable Data Usage MiFi4620L Jetpack 5839 How Could It Be?

First off, I am a retiree with limited high tech knowledge.  We purchased the JetPack about 18 months ago to use while traveling.  I also have an iPhone and she has an iPad (wifi only).  She has a basic phone as does my 90 yr old Mom.  About two weeks ago, I was checking my data usage for the month and was shocked to see that the JetPac had used 5G's of date in one day.  In all of the time we have had the JetPac we have never used that much in one month.  We do not download music, movies or use "streaming".  I immediately called Verizon and was referred to one of the tech guys who was helpful in one sense but couldn't tell me why that much data was used in a 7 hr. window.  He did suggest that maybe someone hacked into my wifi even though it is password protected,  I live in a retirement community (homes not condo's) and most all of my neighbors can barely use their email much less figure out how to hack my wifi.  Anyway, I am now turning off my jetpack after every use (which I never did in the previous 18 months).  This is a real pain turning off and on and then having to worry about data use.  We only check emails and check into about five or six websites.  I like the Jetpack but since we can no longer travel, I guess I will go back to Brighthouse (TV, Internet,Phone) provider and not use the JetPack.  Because of this unusually data usage, I have had to increase my data plan to 12g's as I am only halfway through the billing period and am up to almost 9G usage.  Any suggestion or ideas would be appreciated.
    Things I have now done:
Turn of JetPack when not using in daytime and totally at night.
Called Verizon for help but no real help there.
    Reset my JetPack password
Here is my data log from Verizon on the day in question followed by chart 2 with typical three day data usage.

One of your devices, most likely the laptop, must have pulled an update overnight and completed at 7:05 AM on 5/26.  This is not a confirmation but a "what most likely happened" solution to your problem.  VZW does not grant us the tools and data necessary to confirm exactly what happened during your data usage sessions.  Unless you had a monitor setup in place to begin with there is no way to know with certainty what exactly happened.
Chances are that whatever download your laptop/ipad required has already gone and done its business.  Your usage should not spike again until the next one and no one can tell you when that will be.  If you continue to see spikes then have a friend stop by to bring the laptop to a public hotspot so it can complete its updates without chewing your data plan to pieces.
Phones typically do not behave the same way in a data usage situation since they are designed to be on a metered data plan from the start.  Ipads and laptops are not in the same boat.  Automatic updates as well as viruses or malicious users can take over your personal device and consume data without your knowledge or consent.  I'd focus on these two devices for the time being.
Should you have the patience to continue with VZW the next step would be to use isolation and figure out which device has been compromised or behaving badly.  You will need to leave your Jetpack online with only one device connected to it at a time.  Review the data logs religiously, Id wait for a fresh billing period, and check to see when your data spikes accordingly.  Once you know the device then you can review the next options on how to plug the leak.

  • In terms of data usage, is it equal to use my phone as a hot spot to using a jetpack mifi?

In terms of data usage, is it equal to use my phone as a hot spot as the jetpack mifi?

    There's that darn ninja again.

  • Sudden increase of data usage with my jetpack.

This is crazy!  For the first few months using my jetpack, my usage was consistent with my usage when I was with Sprint.  I monitor my usage on a regular basis.  So you can image my surprise when I received two text messages in the middle of the night, 15 minutes apart telling me I was at 75% and the 90% of my 14 gig limit, just 17 days into my billing cycle.  We had used just over 4 gig to this point, an average month.  I contacted Verizon immediately.  I was told that Verizon was having technical difficulties but she still put me through to a tech support person.  The Tech gave me a song and dance about my data usage that did not match up with my data usage that was being reported on My Verizon, so I pushed the issue and called back.  The customer service rep started an investigation on my behalf.  When she called me several days later, I was informed that the usage was legit and it was my fault because I had left my jetpack on even when we were not using the internet and there must have been updates occurring.  I was also told that nothing could be done until my next bill was issued.  We run Linux and do not run ANY automatic updates.  After turning off my jetpack for several days, my daughter turned it on for less than 30 minutes to check her email and blogs for her college class.  It used in excess of .5 gig during this time.  I will be taking my jetpack into the closest Verizon store to get checked out.  If this is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will be eating the early cancelation charge and dropping Verizon.  I would rather pay a little more through an internet satellite provider than be duped by a company unwilling to fix an obvious problem.

I can see by the posts on this site there are no solutions to an obvious problem with the Verizon Jetpack. My data usage says I have used over 15GBs! in a few hour period and I was only on the internet for about and hour and just the usual checking my email, bank statement, Facebook. My jetpack worked fine up until a two and a half months ago  I have contacted Verizon a month ago about excessive data usage reporting. So far this month it says I have over 15G used! No way could it be. My browsing hasn't changed. My computer hasn't changed. I have not downloaded any music or movies for months and I shut off the automatic run on videos on Facebook. I've lived in the same house for 35 years. I shut my jetpack off when I'm done .. If I turn on the Jetpack. and check email and do some browsing,,.within half a day to a day I get a notice that says I've used almost 2 more GB of data!! This is insane. I haven't watched anything on Netflix since last April or May and even then I didn't have any overages. This is a new problem. I took my Jetpack in to our local Verizon Store and all he could do was confirm the data usage. The lady from online support who chatted with me last month said she would back charge to the cheaper plan for a month and then drop it the next month, but now my account shows I'm on a 14 GB plan (use to be 10 then she put it at 12 supposedly for one month..so don't know how in the heck it's now at 14) and it is saying I'm over my data usage. Right now I'm using my phone hotspot. I do not have overages being reported when I use this connection. I also have used my daughters hotspot and NO problem. Face it , to whatever Verizon Tech may be reading this... The problem is there's a bug with the Jetpack 4g or a problem with it's data reporting. I don't believe a large corporation would try to dishonestly upcharge data. I used the old Jetpack in 2011 and 2012 and NEVER had an overage problem. I updated to this new one last November and didn't have a problem until about 2 months ago. I'm an older senior and this is a big problem on a fixed income. My internet usage is about the same as it's been for the past decade. That's why I called Verizon about this problem. I thought maybe the account had been hacked somehow and someone was piggy backing on my device but with the postings on this site and others I see it's a Verizon Jetpack problem! NO ONE wants to Help. The replies I get from Verizon is " Well, this is what the data report says, so you must be using it somehow, with updates or background programs etc. " When NOTHING has changed on my end and it doesn't happen on other WiFi equipment it's obvious this is a Verizon Jetpack problem.. I am just not going to use my Jetpack anymore and believe when I say it will NOT be recommended to anyone we know, not that that will make a dent in anyones life at Verizon, and I use to think it was really a great tool for traveling etc. My husband and I do have the contract with Verizon and will run it out but this has been a really bad experience. BTW..I only hook this up to our computer at home or when we use the tablet up at our cabin,.so only one device at a time and no big downloads.

  • I have seen numerous discussions as to jetpack data consumption.  My new jetpack is adding up way too much data usage.  What can be done about this?

Why is my jetpack recording an incredible amount of data usage?  I'm getting alerts on a daily basis.  All I do is read email and shop online.  What is Verizon doing about this?  I've used a data calculator and I shouldn't be using a third of what is being billed.  A lot of nasty stuff on these posts.

    > it was recorded that my jetpack used 13gigs in one day; this cannot be correct.
There is a common concern that many wireless users share on this subject.  Unfortunately VZW holds all the cards when it comes to the actual details on what happened resulting with your final billing statement.
The only thing we as consumers can do is try to setup monitors on our own and funnel our internet traffic through those devices/applications.  With a monitor in place there is a better chance that you can identify leaks and stop them before it makes it to your bill.
Keep in mind that data usage has nothing to do with what you are intentionally doing on the internet.  Data usage relates to what is actually happening behind the scenes.  If you, your neighbor, your dog or your toaster is online and consuming internet through your VZW device then VZW will hold you accountable for it.  Its similar to a hose that you turn on in your yard, a utility company doesn't care who did it, they only care that they sent XYZ gallons of water to your residence.  What worked well on your previous provider may not work well on VZW resulting in retries and increased usage for the same actions.
Don't get too hung up on the timestamps that VZW offers you in their alerts or reports. There are all sorts of examples where billing is delayed for various reasons. Use the timestamps as a clue, not as actual evidence that can be relied on during your investigation.

  • How can I reduce excessive data usage?

My wife and I recently moved to the country and have no internet available by a physical cable or wire from an ISP.    Our internet service is provided through a Verizon Jetpack that we lease from Verizon.    We have an iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s, an iPad 1, and an iPad 2 (both iPads are WiFi only)
Our problem is excessive data usage.  Prior to our move, our iPhones each used approx .2GB per month.   16 days into our current billing month, the iPhones have each used approx 1.2GB, but our Jetpack (which creates our home WiFi for our iPads) has already used 10GB.  We do not stream anything on our iPads.  We use them in the evening for surfing the internet, checking Facebook, and playing Words With Friends.  That's about it. The Verizon online data calculator indicates we shoud be using about 4GB per month based on our iPad usage.   Yet my data usage log says that one night this week between 7:30 PM and 11:30 PM, our Jetpack used a full 1GB.  Is it possible that our Jetpack is simply "burning up" GBs while we sleep?

On my iPhone 4 running iOS 6,  Settings > General > Usage quotes the installed size of the apps not the data usage. I've just installed the Onavo Count which claims to record data usage of each app so one can see which the greedy ones are.

  • We just switched to a jetpack for wifi and within 24 hours used 1.8GB with only typical web browsing, no videos and two Kindle downloads. What's going on??? Why is it using so much data?

We had a 5GB plan with an air card for the past 4 years and rarely went over our data plan but wanted wifi. We were told the jetpack was the way to go. But within 24 hours of setting it up we went through almost 20% of our monthly allowance! We didn't use the computer any differently than we usually do and only used the wifi for 2 Kindle downloads and then disconnected the device from wifi (verified on the jetpack) yet our usage is going through the roof. I will blow through my 10GB in a week at this rate. Very frustrated and don't know where to look for "leaks." help? Any ideas? I don't seem to have any devices drawing from wifi that I don't know about.

EXACT SAME THING HERE but VERIZON DENIES and calls us LIARS......
HAHAHAHAHHAHA  Verizon DENIES even hearing about such issues. DENIES even knowing the forums are full of this issue but then tells me that those who post on forums are LIARS. Accused me of lying then talked about how much integrity verizon has. HAHAHAHAHA what a joke. Expect unexplainable overages. Expect verizon to continue stealing until you either a) fulfill your contract and escape or b) cancel and pay the termination fee (I suggest canceling as it will be cheaper to pay these (removed) their extortion than to continue to pay overages THAT DO NOT EXIST) You are NOT USING the data, the data is MISCALCULATED/MISREPORTED or verizon is just jacking with everyone to increase revenue, increase stock value, increase bonuses. RICO anyone? WHERE ARE THE LAWYERS WITH THE CLASS ACTION ON BEHALF of those of us stuck in our verizon (removed)??
