Am using firefox browser. Even within the browser Edit->Preferences->Download option, the moment I press the DOWNLOAD Option, the browser automatically closes. Is there a problem with the browser?
Similarly as suggested in a sites, had tried linking (linking j2sdk1.4.2_4 folder
with JVM and Mozilla/Plugins, all of the browser windows are getting closed instantly. Need ur help desparately to resolve this issue. Barring this, all of the EBS components are working fine. Don't have metalink access.

My question is where can I find the installer for Oracle form builder to compile my .pll file?
Best Regards
Akhmad H GumasIf you want to download and install Developer 6i to your Windows client, then here is the direct link --> http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/forms/6i_rel2_xp.zip
You will need to recompile the form again on your server if the OS is Linux/Unix by referring to the docs referenced above by AsifMuhammad

Unable to open EBS 11i Forms.
Hello Everyone,
Used cloning process to migrate Concurrent Manager Server, Report Server and Administrator Server into Application Node which was already running Forms Server and Apache server.
Went through successfully, but when I tried to open any form like concurrent request form or any other from clicking on application link my browser can not open the form. There were no issue earlier to that migration.
Logged into Oracle Application Manager and it is showing Form and Web server is running on designated server. Already run adadmin--> Relink Applications programs |Generate product JAR files |Compile APPS schema.
OS:Linux OEL 6
Application: EBS 11iR2 11.5.10.2

Thanks,

Unable to open XML report in Oracle EBS r12
Hi,
I have new installation of Oracle EBS r12 (12.1.1) on linux.
To test the XML report, I changed the output of standard report 'Active Users' from 'Text' to 'XML' and defined the data definition and template for this report.
I am unable to see the output for XML reports. The report completes without error, however I cannot open the output file.
The browser opens for fraction of a second and then closes down. My client machine is Windows 7 and I used Microsoft words 2010 to build template
I used the 5.7.201 version of BI publisher to create the rtf template.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
ThanksI changed the output of standard report 'Active Users' from 'Text' to 'XML' and defined the data definition and template for this report.
looks like xml publisher report, so output for concurrent must be 'XML'
******* I have changed the output of concurrent program 'Active Users' from 'Text' to 'XML'
I am unable to see the output for XML reports.
how you see it?
******* I tried to open the report by clicking on 'Output' button from view request screen of EBS.
did you try after concurrent completed check 'diagnostic -> view xml'?
******* I haven't tried this. Will do now.
The report completes without error, however I cannot open the output file
what is error?
******* There is no error, the request completed successfully. When I tried to open the output file by clicking 'output' button, the browser doesn't open.
did you check OPP log?
******* There is nothing in the OPP log.
if concurrent failed so first of all check your code - data template and package (if used)
******* I used the standard EBS report 'Active Users' and just changed the output from 'Text' to 'XML' and attached the rtf template. -
Integration of weighing Scale device with EBS Customized Oracle Forms
Hi,
When the trucker enters our Factory Premises (Empty) It is passed our weighing scale how can we get Weight of the Truck (Empty) & after it is Loaded on our EBS Customized form.
Regards
Usman GorayaAll:
Repeating Arul's answer:
"This weighbridge interface can be achieved by using thethird party software for entering the weigh bridge scale information which will put the datas in Oracle staging Tables from there we can pull into our applications."
You should be find the 3rd party provider on the Partner Network site. We used a product from Panasonic to do a similar process with Process Machinery data into a quality collection plan.

Unable to open forms in EBS 11i on vmware player.
Hi
I have installed an EBS 11i (11.5.10) on my laptop (OS: Windows XP SP2) on vmware using vmware player running Linux (OS: RHEL 4 Update 5).
The installation of EBS 11i was successful.
But after that once I start the services, everything starts fine, but I am not able to launch the forms from Linux.
Can someone explain what could be the possible reason why I cannot open the forms.??
Thanks
Dev
Edited by: dev on Nov 23, 2010 6:14 AMHi Dev;
Can you let me know where I can find the type of ethernet used for my configuration.type ifconfig as root
I am able to access the EBS 11i application using http://localhost.localdomain:8000
The /etc/hosts file in my linux server has the below entry
[oracle@localhost ~]$ cat /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhostNormaly during installation you need to use new IP for your installation, your /etc/hosts entery should be like
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
10.x.x.x test.xx.com test (where test is localhost,xx.com is localdomain)
I am able to ping the IP (127.0.0.1)
Pinging 127.0.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128please try to add below entery to your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain
Then try to login your ebs from your client http://localhost.localdomain:8000
PS: I am not sure it will work, just try and see whathappen, as i mention normaly i always use new IP for installation. This is also mention in installation guide too

Why do I get %_virtual_hostname% at my Host?
Thanks a lotI have successfully insatalled EBS 11i (VISION) on linux before .
Then I do another linux test install for a fresh install (PROD) EBS 11i as my second installation.Do you mean on the same host?
Why do I get %s_virtual_hostname% at my Host? Please check the hostname in the listener.ora file under $RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME\network\admin\<CONTEXT_NAME>. If it shows "s_virtual_hostname", edit the file and replace this entry with your hostname "accelerator.abc.biz" and click on retry button.
