Hello All,
I recently installed Jive software for SAP. Can we award helpful/correct comments of SCN on it?
Also, is there a way to increase the font size in it?

To launch Jive in separate window,
go to Dir:\usr\sap\E7O\JC01\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.netweaver.coll.forums\servlet_jsp\forums\
root\templates\default.
In the template.jsp file change the
parent.location.replace("<%=portalServerUrl%>/irj/portal/forums?ForumsTarget=" + forumsTarget);
to
parent.location.replace("<%=portalServerUrl%>/forums/" + forumsTarget);

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Admittedly the labeling is hard to read but, if you use a magnifier and squint your eyes, you'll see "Output 5.1V, 2.1A." The symbol between volts and amps is the symbol for DC. Do NOT use an iPhone charger. Do NOT use an iPod charger. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the exact procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know whether or not a battery problem exists.
According to Apple:
Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge.

Jive Software

I am new to the Jive Software.
Can anyone please help me know anything about this and how it works etc. How can I start the jive software

To expand just a little bit on what ali brown posted in the other thread...
Prior to adopting Jive as the software upon which to run Discussions, Apple was using software named WebX. The WebX software permitted users to change their aliases at will. This did, indeed, allow some 'playful' folk to cause problems by doing just that (such as by mimicking another's alias and posting a bogus message).
After using WebX for a few years, it became apparent that Discussions was getting too big for it to handle - too many users, too much traffic. WebX started having serious problems in running smoothly, sometimes in being able to run at all.
Apple looked around at other choices and settled on Jive, the current software. Although Jive's feature set seems much the same as WebX, there are some significant differences.
One dfference is the inability to open a specific thread in Flat mode while keeping Threaded as your personal default, i.e. without altering your preferences.
Another difference is that it became no longer possible to change one's alias. Current active users at the time of the changover to Jive were warned about this lock-in of one's alias, and were encouraged to make whatever change they wanted while Discussions was still on WebX, before the new Jive software went active. Once Jive went active no change was possible; that still holds true now.

MaxDB-Can't open registry key "HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTECH"

Hi,
We are using MI 7.10, NW client 7.1SP10, MaxDB 7.7.07 Build 30, Mobile Client 7.10 SP10 Patch 08, JRE Java 1.6u24, MI 7.10, Windows Vista, Service pack 2.
Turned UAC off from control panel and registry, ran as Administrator, installed mobile client and MaxDB with a fresh OS, got below error, when uninstalling MaxDB, it couldn't uninstall, complaining "No Installed MaxDB components found", can't delete this registry. I've googled this for while, but couldn't find any solution, can anyone here please help?!

Thank you Srikishan, I reviewed the link you provided, it solves uninstall and re-install problem for one laptop, however, we have many laptops, can't do manual registry clean up for all of them. The installation was done by mobile client silent script, needs to be successful the very first time.
This error only happens with the very 1st installation, means fresh OS that never had any SAP, I am wondering what is the installation program trying to change in the registry, does it have to go that deep into registry? and what other components are affected by the error "Can't open registry key "HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTECH"?
From the log, the command ran before the error was "CALL: SDBINST -b -t sapmc -f C:\Program Files\SAP Netweaver Mobile Client\MaxDB Files\sdb_MIDB_sample.cfg", is it a sample program and do we need it? is this caused the error?
for remaining errors(many of them), there is one very odd
"SYS: "c:\sdb\programs\runtime\7300\bin\irconf.exe" -i -p "c:\sdb\programs\runtime\7300": Error : Cannot find any installed version of CPC Driver.."
What caused it?

Cannot open Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SAP\NSP\Environment ?

Hello, after installing the NetWeaver 7.01 Trial on my Windows Server 2008 I get this error:
Cannot open Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SAP\NSP\Environment (Error 2 ENOENT: No such file or directory OR: The system cannot find the file specified.) [ntservmgr.cpp 306]
Starting the server does not work, it goes from grey to yellow to grey again and I think the above error is the cause. Whats the problem?

Jive Software, used for Apple's Forum, about Safari 2.0.4

Despite Jive being used to make the Apple forum and the EA forum, Safari 2.0.4 seems to not like EA's Forum. There are images across the top of EA's forum page that visualize the code for some of the images=links.

I was was simply wondering if the code is bad for that page or is Safari at fault. My gut says EA is at fault, but.... the EA forum visualizes just fine on Windows XP with Firefox.

Hello,
The problem is caused due to the spaces in your directories
C:\SAP Dumps\Core Release SR1 Export_CD1_51019634/DB/ADA/DBSIZE.XML
Replace the spaces with underscores and restart the installation from from scratch.

• Download the software @ SAP Site using S user login ID.
• Download the Software gui730_0-10010496 (include the patch 6 hotfix 1)
• After download Extract it and go to the path and install.
