Jmeter testing (schema failure at early hours)

two node rac
windows 10.2.0.4
my question schema is failing at early 1 am which is shown below
i just want to know what is the reason?
is it -     The daily reports kick off at 01:00?
-     Data loading (strange this would cause a problem at the same time!)
-     Load balancer?
please suggest why it is happening only for 10 minutes
kindly please suggest me ,thanks for your help
details-
This problem still appears to be happening every now and again in site confidence.
What’s really interesting/worrying is that for a number of occasions the error has occurred at exactly 01:09:45 (for example on the following days):
Date     Time     Server IP     Result Code
20/06/2011     01:09:45     85.133.71.112     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
24/06/2011     01:09:45     217.156.138.226     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
26/06/2011     01:09:45     217.156.138.227     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
28/06/2011     01:09:45     79.141.40.101     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
29/06/2011     01:09:45     85.133.71.111     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
01/07/2011     01:09:45     217.156.138.227     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
06/07/2011     01:09:45     85.133.71.114     45: Data Start Threshold Exceeded
There must be something going on at this time to cause the small blips

There must be something going on at this time to cause the small blipsUnfortunately we don't know we don't know anything about the processes you mention and don't describe. I presume that the "error" you mention is the 'threshold exceeded' message shown above, but we have no clue as to what that report is, how it was generated, what it is reporting . . ..
At this point the only useful information you've given is that you are running 10.2.0.4.

  • Import of mappings in a test scheme

    hi,
I have a problem importing mappings with owb 10 release 1 and I did not find an answer by now:
I developed all mappings in a scheme and know I want to test the hole DWH application on a test scheme (on the same server). is it correct that the import via mdl only runs for the same scheme?
I built a new runtime, rep and run rep user and I created the test scheme with them. then I tried to compile the packages of the mappings, but this did run without errors (ORA-01924).
So I think I am totally wrong ... Could you tell me, who to transfer the mappings from one scheme into another?
    best regards,
    Klaus

    Hi

  • How to synchronize test schema objects with the prod schema objects.

    Hi,
I have a requirement of synchronizing test schema objects with the production schema objects. Please let me know the below
    1. if there is a standardized method for such activity,
    2. if there are oracle utilities for this task.
    3. If i had to do this job manually, can you let me know the check list if any.

You could try database diff tool in sql developer(but there are some licence restrictions).
I don't know your database version, you could try DBMS_COMPARISON package also.
    Look at this link http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28419/d_comparison.htm
Other solution is to create db link between test and production database, and then you can try different types of queries like
    select table_name from user_tables
    minus
    select table_name from user_tables@db_link_to_other_database
And you can do this for columns, indexes and so on.
But you must have proper DDL scripts for this, to generate sync script.
Also there is a question about work process, you are doing sync in reverse order(from production to test). Test db is for test, after test you go to production db with proper ddl and dml scripts, so these schemas shouldn't be different in the first place(talking about schema, not data here).

    the test is failure.
Intial time my sytem works properly after few days i got error like this .
    how to solve these problem.
give guidence, otherwise refer  manuals .

    jagadeesh

    Hi Jagadeesh,
At the first step, check whether that you can logon to the SLD by using the user that you are using for CIM connection on J2EE visual admin.
At the second step, be sure that you are importing correct version of "CR Content".

  • How to handle refreshing TEST schema with PRODUCTION schema ?

    - we have database 10g ( standard edition), database name : ABC
    - Schema name: ABC.PRODUCTION (which is our production schema)
    - Schema name: ABC.TEST (which is our testing schema, where developers work)
Both the production & Test schemas exist in the same database.
Now once a week I wanted to refresh TEST schema with PRODUCTION data
Here is what I have been doing all these years:
=> Take a logical backup (EXPDP) of PRODUCTION schema (prod.dmp)
=> Drop user TEST cascade ( i don't need a backup of this TEST schema)
    => Create user TEST
=> Import PROD.DMP data into TEST schema
All the above 4 steps are being done manually.
    Questions:
    ======
    1. Is there any easier way of doing the above steps using some tool ?
    2. Does Oracle enterprise manager which comes free with database installation (http://localhost:118/em)
has any utility or tool to do this job ?
    3. I want everything to be refreshed (all database objects including data) ?
    Thanks

This is crazy. One inadvertent typo and you'll overwrite your Production schema. Plus, what happens if a developer 'tests' against the test schema and slows the Production database to a crawl.
I presume you know all about this, though and can't make the case to management. I hope it's not a business-critical Production database!
Anyway, your method is decent. I would advise against doing it automatically, to be honest, especially when your system is so precariously set up. But if you exist, you could use encapsulate all the steps into a script and use crontab to automate the process. I, personally, wouldn't use DBMS_SCHEDULER as you have to be careful with priorities and workload sometimes (at least in my experience) and you might end up having your export/import clash with other jobs in the system if you don't pay attention.
Here are the steps I would use:
Create a 'create user' script for the test schema based on dynamic SQL. That way you can be sure you have all the grants necessary for the user, in case things change.
Drop the test user (use EXTRA caution and be defensive when coding this part!)
Export the schema using FLASHBACK_SCN to ensure you have a consistent export
Run your 'create user' script to create the test user
Import the schema with a REMAP_SCHEMA option (use EXTREME caution with this!!!!)
    Compile invalid objects
Compare objects and exclude any recycle_bin objects. Send an email alert if the object counts are different.
Compare invalid objects. Any objects which aren't invalid in Production should be flagged up if they're invalid in test.
Again, it's absolute insanity to have a test schema in a Production database. You absolutely must insist on addressing that with management.

  • JRE / JWS failure after several hours

I encountered a strange problem when trying to login to a SquirrelMail application that only occured with three out of seven browsers I use for testing. After making sure that all cookie and security settings were the same in all browsers, I happened to notice that in the failing three, there were some error messages shown in the Javascript console.
So I thought it would be a good time to make sure my JRE was up to date. I installed the latest level, but that didn't help. Then Inoticed the Java Web Start package (but didn't notice that it was supposed to be part of the JRE). I downloaded and installed that, and the three browsers started handling the login properly.
However, after several hours all three started failing again.
I repeated the JWS installation, and they worked...for a few more hours.
I repeated this cycle several times, and it was always the same: the login page was processed normally for several hours only after a reinstallation of the JWS package.
The browsers that are failing are: IE, Opera and Firefox. The ones that are not affected by this are NetScape, K-Meleon and Slim Browser.

but i kept on having download failure.

We have created a stage schema and tested application which is working fine when we are moving it to another schema for further testing ( This schema is created using same scripts which were used to create objects in staging schema) the performanc of application (Developed in .NET) slows down drastically
Some of the store procedures we have checked at Databse/SQLdeveloper level are giving almost same performance but at Application level there is lot of difference
    Can you please help

  • Exchange 2010 SP3 - Test-OutlookConnectivity Failures

Test-OutlookConnectivity -Protocol TCP gives success on all tests.  If I run Test-OutlookConnectivity -Protocol HTTP, I get failures on all .  I'm trying to figure out why.  We have a single CAS array in our main site with two servers.
We have a third server in our COLO location and there is no CAS for that site.  Outlook Anywhere is not enabled.
If I run "Test-OutlookConnectivity -Protocol HTTP" at the main site, I get this error message:
Fatal Autodiscover failure EXPR = <Null>.
        + CategoryInfo          : OperationStopped: (Microsoft.Excha...onnectivityTask:TestOutlookConnectivityTask) [Test-
       OutlookConnectivity], FatalAutodiscoverException
        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : F70A1ED2,Microsoft.Exchange.Monitoring.TestOutlookConnectivityTask
        + PSComputerName        : ex1.domain.local
I get different messages altogether when I run tests from the COLO site.  For both protocols I get the message:
An error occurred while trying to access mailbox EX2.domain.local, on behalf of user o2bancorp.local\extest_49ce0203
    32a04
     Additional information:

       OutlookConnectivity], CasHealthStorageErrorException
        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : 6A829B37,Microsoft.Exchange.Monitoring.TestOutlookConnectivityTask
It seems to me that we don't have something setup properly in our environment.  I think the reason that the lead Exchange admin does not have a CAS array defined for the COLO site is that some of our business locations that are part of the COLO site
and he doesn't want the Exchange server there servicing client requests except for in a DR scenario.  He also has also had all receive connectors disabled.  I enabled the two default receive connectors on the COLO Exchange server.

    Hi Hollisorama,
Base on my knowledge, this command is used to test end-to-end Outlook connectivity scenario for Outlook Anywhere, however outlook anywhere is disabled in your environment. It is the reason why you will get error message when running the command.
I recommend you refer to the following article to enable outlook anywhere, and then test connectivity again:
    Enable Outlook Anywhere

  • Jmeter test load : iview not compatible

    Hello,
I use Jmeter to test our server response time. I send a http request to the sap portal homepage and the server send back an html page with the message :
<b>iView is not compatible with your browser, operating system or device. Contact your system administrator</b>
So I believe that my results are not accurate due to this error message. Can I configure Jmeter or SAP Portal so that I can carry on my tests or is there a better tool for server test load ?
    Thank you for your answers.

    Hi Christophe,
the reason is that iViews can have - and have by default - a restriction of supported browsers. If the http request does not declare to match these settings, the portals gives the answer as you have realized.
See SAP note 933452 for further details.
A workaround can be as described in this note to set the allowed browsers to (,,*), which means no restriction at all. Or maybe you could just pass for example IE settings within the header of the http request, so that the portal thinks it's an IE which does the request, and answers with full response.
Hope it helps (for sure it will)

  • Testing success/failure of archiveLogFile() method of servermanager

When attempting to archive a log file programmatically using the archiveLogFile() method of servermanager is there a way to test the success/failure of the action. I tried
    adminObj = createObject("component","cfide.adminapi.administrator").login("topsecret");
    serverObj = createObject("component","cfide.adminapi._servermanager.servermanager");

You most likely have an alarm set.
To check go to extras/clock/alarm and set it to off. Check the calendar also, extras/calendar/alarm.
