JMF-RTP issues that I am facing on my network PC's. -
(1) I am using JMF whenever I am tring to receive RTP sessions I get purple color screen and shows nothing that is captured by CAM.
(2) I am using AVReceive2.java to receive RTP sessions then again, only purple color screen and showing nothing.
Waiting for feedback / solutions. And is there any forum that I can use to get solutions of these kind of problems.

I dont think it is video card driver issue because when I click on JMStudio ->Transmit -> Capture , I can able to view my cam. If it is problem of video card as per you are saying, I cant able to view my cam. I think the problem is something else.
I tried RTPApplet code to receive RTP sessions, I tried AVReveive also but same problem - Purple screen. I also tried same on JMStudio, but when i check statics it is showing data is transfered, I am not sure why this purple screen when I tried RTP Session. Last time on same PC, I can able to get RTP sessions properly using JMStudio. Now I reinstalled JMStudio, I dont know why this is so?
Finally I have to use some Code to receive RTP session in some project that we are developing.

Actually the error occurs in the following case:
1. I am creating a Parent folder in robohelp with the name ABC..
2. Next Under ABC i have created 2 separate folders say XYZ and EFG.
3. Under XYZ i have created various Topics say 2 or 3.
4. Under EFG i have created various Topics say 7 or 8.
5. Now, i have created a TOC with name for ABC (Parent Folder.)
6. Next i have dragged and dropped my two sub folders that i have created under ABC in Project Set up wizard that is XYZ and EFG, in order to generate the webhelp first and then the CHM file fo rthe same.
7. Webhelp is successfully getting generated.
8. But when i convert the Webhelp to CHM Converter, after few seconds the robohelp gets halt and it shuts up the robohelp, showing a message dialog box that the Adobe Robohelp 11 is Troubleshooting for the error, the Windows manager will get back to you..Someting like this, the .CHM file for the same gets generated on the described path, but when i click on it, it does not open and shows the error as "Cannot open file: mk:@MSITStore: C:\\Users\..\Desktop\filename.chm".
Please help me in sorting the above issue.

2. How to Merge the projects.
Can you please provide me the link where i can get tutorial to create a TOC for multiple files in a same TOC and to generate a chm for them.
Actually for single project folder i have worked successfully. But, its first time i have to create a chm with lot many sub folders in it, as like one create a book.

We are Facng a typical issue and scraching Head since sometime Now and Now seek help and sugesstions
I have a ACE with 10 Context. Now There is a Particular Context which have 6 server farms and all have under different VIP.
Have raised Multiple TAC cases and Captured Millions of Packets but no reason. The ACE resource and CPU Usage is Normal and no increase noticed.
Issues Happening is that when connection to one serverfarm cross 1000, all other serverfarms and VIP of that context are facing very very slowness ,and they have no relation with each other both Physically and Fictionally
If any of you have heard of similar issue can you refer me a solution if the issue is with ACEHi Shirshendu,

Particularly:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.

So here is what we now know :
You have a 3rd party voip device plugged into a Cat6K switch. The switch has an optical connection to a remote site that has a another switch that connects to a MGCP Call Agent.
I don't believe there is any particular Cisco voice blade installed in the Cat6K, so we are not talking about a Cisco specific voice issue here.
Based on the stats from the Adtran device, you are seeing TX and RX MGCP control traffic so you have an open session to the call agent. This means you have IP connectivity on UDP port 2427.
Since the RTP RX counter is zero, then it is apparent no media is getting to the IAD.
And here is what we don't know :
Is the entire network layer 2 switched network (no routing) or is there layer 3 routing ?
Is there any packet filtering being done on the CatK ?
Are the RTP media flows actually getting to Cat6K in the first place ?
How many connections does the Cat6K have the rest of the network?
Before jumping to conclusions about possible reasons such as access lists, you need to follow the RTP media path from the source in a logical approach to determine where it is failing.
Assuming the Optical connection is the only ingress point into the Cat6K, do a SPAN session on this port to another port that has a PC running wireshark, and make a test call.

Get a packet capture and confirm if you have RTP packets coming into the switch in the first place. If you do see RTP, then you can concentrate on your Cat6K switch.
If you don't see any RTP, then do the SPAN or similar off the Allied switch and see if it is getting this far.
Follow the RTP back to the source and you will find your answer. -
2.0 Issue that I haven't read about yet
This is the lenghty email I just sent Apple:
I like many others have been experiencing issues with the new 2.0 update for my ipod touch. the first issue is that my battery life has dropped signifigantly. if i use the touch for an hour it will be half way down, just reading articles, not using wifi at all. the other issue is that when i try to sync apps from itunes, some will fail but then when it is resynced they load fine. (i have a design issue with everytime you update apps the reorder them on your screen) the wifi is screwy, it will say "server not found" then when safari is rebooted it is fine. also it will randomly restart.
Now all of these issues are HEAVILY DOCUMENTED on your support forums, one however I can't seem to find anything on, and i hope it is also just a flaw with 2.0 that will be resolved very soon....anyway, i like to charge my touch while it is off. in the past i would turn it off, plug it in and see the battery pop up on the screen. now with 2.0 when it is off and i plug it in (at the wall or pc) it will turn itself on. when i try to manually turn it off, i get zero indication of it still being charged. it is just a black screen.
The point is which i hope you are well aware of by now is that hundreds of thousands of LOYAL apple fans that have apple tatoos and put apple stickers over the kenmore badge of their fridge and name all 3 of their kids Steve Jobs all because apple is known to be very realible and friendly for anything they touch (no pun intended) spent several hundred dollars on their equipment and money to update their touch to 2.0 all to not only have issues with the software, but even larger issues with support.
I, being an executive for a fortune 500 company am the first to understand keeping issues as quite as possible, and i further understand software glitches with any large update. HOWEVER, i do see a big problem when A) apple has done nothing to address this issue, even on their owned and opperated forums and B)have all of you employees treating this issue as if it doesn't exsist and that it is the users fault. the worst part is when the company knows of the issue and all of the employees deny it. i recall when microsoft had xbox360 issues they did everything they could to fix them and lost millions in the process, meanwhile apple wants a customer on you very own forum to pay $30 to mail his or her touch in to you.
This is just not what myself or anyone else expected from a company held in such high regard. please, address the problem, let your employees (especially the ones in the stores) know that this is an issue, and get a fixout immediatley.

so like the topic title states, i am having most of the issues that others are having (not as bad though) however i went to charge my touch tonight (because after an hour it was half dead). so i turned it off and when i plugged it in, it turned itself on! when i turn it back off while leaving it plugged in the batter picture that used to show up on the screen is not there, so i have no way of knowing if it is taking a charge.
i haven't read about this issue yet and it worries me. it always used to show the battery meter on the screen when it was off and plugged in (and it never would turn on when plugged in)
someone test and help, please.

My daughter uses a Macbook with Leopard and since she upgraded Itunes and Ipod, all of her music purchased from Itunes won't play. You can see it, you just can't play it. Her other music works fine.
I am a software programmer. This is definitely a major software issue.
I understand that it takes time to find and repair these software issues, BUT
Apple needs to at least let us know that they are working on it.
I'm sorry, without contacts and calendar functions that work, what is the point of trying to sell Mobile Me. From the threads, it sounds like it doesn't work either. What a sad joke.

So I got my iPhone 6 on the day it came out and it has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with apple. I've had to factory reset my phone twice, probably about to be three times once i get home from work. The first time was trying to transfer my stuff from my old iPhone and right after it finished my iPhone 6 turned itself off then turned on to the boot up screen (the one with the apple logo) and then shut off then did the same thing. this forced my to factory reset my new iphone literally the day i got it. The next day i was trying to upload my music and basically the same thing happened again, forcing me to reset my phone for a second time. Just now (its been two weeks that I've owned my new phone)i tried to get on twitter and the app crashed then my phone reset itself and when it loaded to the unlock screen, instead of my background it was just a black screen with the time and the unlock slide. when i unlocked it, it went back to the normal background and the main screen. Because whenever i would turn off (not power off, but put it to sleep) the phone and turn it back on it would do the same thing. I decided to restart it (actually turn it completely off and then back on) and now it will show the boot up screen then turn off. I understand that there is the solution of factory resetting my iPhone, but 3 times in 2 weeks is pretty unacceptable, seeing as i had a 4s for almost 3 years and never once had to factory reset it and its also incredibly annoying to have to redownload all of my stuff. Has anyone else had this problem? is there anyway i can keep this from continuing to happen? is it a software issue or is it the phone itself that is messing up?

Well the first two restorations were the first and second day (9/19 and 9/20) that i had my 6 and both times i chose to restore is as new. since then there haven't been any issues until now. granted the first time my phone messed up was after i used the At&t transfer app which made me think it couldve been something that corrupted my device. the second time though started with me attempting to download music from the itunes store app on the phone. for whatever reason it would download but not but it wouldnt process and install the music. Then i tried to download it from my computer and thats when the second screw up occurred. that time i dont think it was an issue of my phone being corrupted because it was already acting strangely before i ever plugged it into my computer. This third time, i'm at work so i havent been able to do anything about it, i wasnt downloading anything and my phone was not hooked up to a computer, i simply tried to open twitter and then all this happened. and it has been a solid almost two weeks without incident which makes me think its my phone and not corrupt files. also looking at forums, not just these but other online, i haven't really seen anyone with the same problem which adds to my thought that its a problem with my phone.
Just to be clear, the first time this happened, the iphone would display the boot up screen then shut off then turn on and display the boot up screen, then shut of and kept going on like that until i put my iphone into recovery mode and factory reset it. the second time the iphone would display the boot up screen and then shut off, but wouldnt turn on unless i pressed the power button again. this third time is the same story. i dont know if this makes a difference or if its symptomatic of different problems but i figured it wouldnt hurt to explain in detail the issues that happened each separate time.
Also on a side note, i havent done anything like jailbreak it, mess with it download or any third party apps not on the app store. -

Indesign CS6 - 8.0 on iMac 10.9.1, I have a few issues that may be connected:
1. My computer shuts down goes to a black screen then restarts on its own.
2. My InDesign will crash when I am working and there doesn't seem to be a pattern it just happens sometimes.
3. I have an InDesign file that all of a sudden now takes 30-40mins to PDF 50 pages, I think there may be an issue with fonts but I am not sure, none of the other files take this long.Thank you so much for responding Bob, I tried to update but when I tired I get a message "Contact Administrator if you wish to apply updates on your machine, Updates have been suppressed by the administrator...". I actually have admin rights and I called in my IT guy, he could not get it to update. The Application Manager says I have all current updates. Am I suppoes to update using "AdobePatchInstaller"? Is there a manual way?

I have several issues that I hope you can help me out with. I am a professional photographer with a Mac with OS X 10.9.4:
- I can only make ONE contact sheet in CS6 (from AUTOMATE) from pictures indicated in Bridge. If I want to make another contact sheet I need to shut down and restart CS6.
- Camera RAW: if I change any setting in Camera RAW (except exposure), having first optimized the exposure, the exposure will automatically return to zero. Sometimes when I've set exposure and cropped the picture in Camera RAW Plug-In, the effects are lost just by opening the picture in CS6.
- Sometimes if I crop a picture in Camera RAW, it may be impossible to open it again from Bridge!
- I cannot do lens corrections in Camera RAW, at all. The Camera RAW comment is that "it cannot load the correct lens type". Why?Are you writing that when you select a large number of images in the bridge like a hundred thumbnails when you then use Bridge menu Tools>Photoshop>Contact Sheet II that Photoshop only produces a single contact sheet for the first few thumbnails and fails to produce additional contact sheets for the other selected thumbnails? Photoshop contact sheet II script should create as many contact sheet as needed for the numbers of thumbnails selected. Perhaps the script is hung or you have exhausted your machine resources.
ACR Crop tool does not crop the RAW file it records crop settings to be used during the conversion process. Camera RAW DATA is not altered. The only changes made to RAW Files is ACR Metadata may be added. Anything you do in ACR can be un-done in ACR. If you can not open a RAW File in ACR the Files is either corrupt or from a new camera ACR does not support yet. ACR should not corrupt RAW files.
If you do not have a lens profile for ACR I think you should still be able to do lens correction manually in ACR.
Some of what you write I don't follow could you post some screen captures of your problems often a picture helps. -
How to fix iframe issue that displays XML values instead of formatted XML in IE11
The following sub.jsp file shows the formatted XML properly as expected when is opened directly:

Firefox 4 Menu Bar - When I hover over or select a menu bar item, the menu bar sub-menu becomes transparent and unreadable. Is this a known issue that can be corrected with an update or is it functionality that is not designed to work with this version?
If this happens on monitor 2 of 2, this problem has been solved here:

Then un-check "Use hardware acceleration when available"
While not verified, I believe this problem is due to an SLI configuration where the focus is on monitor 1. (I.e acceleration is available, but only on monitor 1.) -
'User failed to respond' (error -8) - a serious issue that needs attention
Based on the various posts here it is becoming increasingly apparent that, in most cases, this is not a user defined issue related to incorrect router settings/port configurations etc..
There also appears to be a fairly conspicuous correlation between upgrading to Mac OS X 10.4.7/Qtime 7.1.2 and the onset of problems with iChat. It is particularly notable that many people have been using iChat successfully for some time and that it has all of a sudden ceased working despite no manipulation of parameters related to network access (other than those associated with the 10.4.7 software upgrade of course).
In summary, it appears that that the 10.4.7 upgrade has rendered iChat inoperable (possibly through altering the nature of communication with wireless routers? I have’nt noted if anyone with hardwired connections have been experiencing these problems).
I am not an expert in this area, so apologies if I am stating the bleedingly obvious (or, at the other end of the spectrum, if I'm completely off the mark). Nonetheless, this appears to be a serious, global issue that is affecting an increasing number of people in the same way despite having different routers, ISP's etc.. and it is something that needs addressing.
Is there anything in the pipeline on this yet? Or is it still being handled on a case-by-case basis, which, while appreciated, has not been successful in any way thus far.
Some sort of formal response re: what steps are being taken to correct this would certainly be appreciated by many it appears.I strongly agree. I have had nothing but trouble with iChat since I upgraded to 10.4.7 & QT 7.1.2 (error -8, not responding...). I can still chat to other buddies running Tiger, but no longer can chat to buddies on AIM PCs or buddies running Panther -- buddies I have been chatting to for more than a year without a single problem.
I also tested against the automatic clients on Ralph John's great website: appleu3test01 works fine, rjinwipc doesn't.
I have tried using the 10.4.7 combo update -- no luck. I have even tried reverting my iChat & its libraries back to 10.4.6 using Pacifist. Same problem. Alas, I am on a group wireless router that I am not allowed to administer, so I can not try any of Ralph's port opening tricks... So, short of reinstalling the entire OS, I am stuck.
Given the large number of people who are reporting this erorr recently, clearly, the 10.4.7/QT 7.1.2 updates have broken iChat for many, many people. Apple needs to step up and:
1) acknowledge they have broken something
2) build a "revert to 10.4.6 installer", as they did with QT a few months ago.
3) publish an official workaround (if the port opening works)
4) give us a timeline for a patch ASAP
