JMS Adapter - SOA Suite 11g
Hi,
We are facing a weird issue while configuring JMS adapter for a queue sits on a remote Weblogic JMS Server.
- Configured adapter in a BPEL process and provided JNDI name 'eis/wls/Queue'
- Configured outbound connection pool with remote server url/user id/pass
- added the same jndi name properties in soa/connectors/JMSadapter.rar/weblogic-ra.xml
When we test the service, the following error is thrown:
java.lang.Exception: oracle.sysman.emSDK.webservices.wsdlapi.SoapTestException: Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Produce_Message' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue. JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection. PublishToJms:JmsAdpWrite [ Produce_Message_ptt::Produce_Message(body) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510 JCA Resource Adapter location error. Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/> The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/wls/Queue'. The reason for this is most likely that either 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/wls/Queue. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR). Please correct this and then restart the Application Server ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution.
Please help...

AP
Hi,
We have re-deployed JMS adapter after changing weblogic-ra.xml as per the product documentation. Now getting a different exception..

SOAP/JMS using SOA Suite 11g
Dear All
Can someone give a pointer - how to expose service components using SOAP/JMS in SOA Suite 11g?
I am using SOA Suite 11.1.1.5. Say we have a synchronous request-response operation - searchCustomer(SearchParam search) returns a Customer information (i.e. input type is SearchParam and output type is Customer).
How can I implement this service using SOAP over JMS?

Calling Foreign JMS in SOA Suite 11g JMS Adapter
Hi,
Just want to get some guidance in the implementation of Foreign JMS in WebLogic 10.3.
I followed the creation of the Foreign JMS Server using this document:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/apirefs.1111/e13952/taskhelp/jms_modules/foreign_servers/CreateForeignServers.html
I am trying to connect to a remote Weblogic 10.3 JMS queue but cannot get pass the JDev wizard stage.
I need to call the foreign JMS via the Fusion 11g JMS Adapter but cannot lookup the destination from the JDev wizard. My composite will produce a message that will end up in the remote queue.
Has anybody got this to work? Is this supported in JMS Adapter? I've read quite a few using MDB to call the Foreign JMS but not JMS Adapter.
Regards,
RobertPlease refer to the following document that shows how to access remote wls jms queues and topics. This is the preferred way when accessing remote wls destinations.

SOA Suite 11g - dynamic JNDI destination JMS adapter
hi there soa suite users,
im currently using oracle soa suite 11g,
my use case having a bpel process processing something
and then route the result to several queue.
like this:
jms/adminduk/queue/mks1
jms/adminduk/queue/pdg1,
etc...
so the destination name can be build dynamically in the bpel,
and i stored in a string variable "destName".
(im using WLS 10.3 jms)
now i need to invoke a jms adapter service with produce operation,
but the queue destination needs to be using the variable "destName".
i already tried using assigning to property "jca.jms.JMSDestinationName"
in the invoke activity.
<invoke ...>
<bpelx:inputProperty name="jca.jms.JMSDestinationName"
variable="destName"/>
</invoke>
but it seems not working, and im getting this error:

this is a basic use case of jms interoperability,
anyone have answers to this ??
thank you :)Hi,
If someone is looking to dynamically set the JMSqueue name here is the solution.
in the Invoke activity set "jca.jms.JMSDestinationName"
value to "JMSHeaderVariable"
set the type to "input"
in the JMSHeaderVariable set the queue name dynamically.
and in the JMSadapter give any valid queue name, still the message will be routed to the queue which you have set in the invoke adapter. -
Read from a config file in File Adapter in SOA Suite 11g
I want to read from a config file in order to determine whether to archive or delete the file after processing using file adapter in SOA Suite 11g. How do i do that.
only part i replied on was the part of how to read a file
but i think in your case you could do the next
use the sync file adapter to read in the file during your process
based on this content you set a variable "myOutputDirectory"
then create a file adapter (write) which will store the file on file system

and use that (jca.file.Directory) property to store the file either on the archive location or the delete location -
Problem with DB JCA adapter in Soa suite 11g composite appl
i am testing a simple credit card validation composite with Oracle SOA suite 11g11.1.1.4.0, Jdevloper 11.1.1.3.0 and oracle universal XE DB. I am having an exception given below. I have checked that data source is properly configured and appearing at the right place in JNDI tree. Suggestion like 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/DB/DBconnection. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR) has also been tried result is same

Message Ordering or Singlton Service in SOA Suite 11g
In SOA Suite 10g, JMS Adapter could behaviors as Singleton instance by setting the properties "XclusterGroupId".
In addition, set Routing Service to be Synchronous execution, therefore only one instance consuming the Target message queue sequentially.
Does this properties still take effect in SOA Suite 11g, as I didn't find this properties being mentioned through Adapter Technology documentations?
Otherwise are there any other solutions for the Message Ordering?
Thank you in advance.
-Simon
Edited by: user8408910 on Jul 13, 2009 1:31 AMIs it the same answer for JMS topic listeners? i.e. each new message on the topic should be processed once and only once by a Composite deployed to a cluster with >1 server instances.
Thanks for info,

Query regarding integrating sun MQ with Oracle SOA suite 11g
Hi,
I am new to SOA suite 11g.I have a requirement of connecting to Sun MQ 4.4 queue from Oracle SOA suite 11g.Right now, I have found a work around using java embedding by connecting to the queue from java code directly. Can I use the JMS adapter for this purpose? If yes what are the options of doing that.I saw there is an option of third party queue in the JMS adapter configuration wizard but could not get it to work.Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advanceI think we can exchange only data types, i dont see any data type which can hold the object types.
If you find anything better let us know.
Constructing string xml and converting to xml is best option i can think of.
Thanks,

OracleBAMAdapter Configuration problem in SOA suite 11g
Hi,
In Oracle SOA suite 11g(11.1.1.2.0), OracleBAMAdapter configuration using WebLogic server console is resulting in the following error
* An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
* [J2EE:160149]Error while processing library references. Unresolved application library references, defined in weblogic-application.xml: [Extension-Name: oracle.soa.workflow.wc, exact-match: false].
Steps used for configuration:
1) Modify adapter configuration using navigation:: Deployments -> OracleBAMAdapter -> Configuration -> Outbound Connection Pools -> oracle.bam.adapter.adc.RMIConnectionFactory -> eis/bam/rmi
2) Specified connection properties with BAM server port details
HostName localhost
InstanceName ADCServer1
Password welcome1
PortNumber *9001*
UserName weblogic
In config.xml (%Domains%/soa_domain/config/) , I could see the following library entry
<library>
<name>[email protected]</name>
<target>AdminServer,soa_server1</target>
<source-path>K:\OracleFMW\Oracle_SOA/soa/modules/oracle.soa.workflow_11.1.1/oracle.soa.workflow.wc.jar</source-path>
<security-dd-model>DDOnly</security-dd-model>
<staging-mode>nostage</staging-mode>
</library>
Could you please help resolving this issue?
Regards
NaveenI do not think that would qualify as a solution :-). I was negligient in deploying Work Flow Application, and was not deselecting the checkbox in 11.1.1.2.0 JDeveloper, which reads out like "Deploy to all the servers". Thus it was trying to deploy it to BAM server as well as the Admin Server. I had to deselect it. It's pretty mundane thing that I was missing.
Warm regards. -
PGP Encryption support in SOA Suite 11g
Hi,
Looking for PGP encryption support in SOA Suite 11g as we have a requirement to encrypt the file using PGP encryption and send over SFTP.
I already went through some of the forums posts but they are date back to 2007, so just wanted to confirm if there is anything in recent releases of SOA Suite.
- FTP adapter support or
- OWSM suppport.
As far as i know, we have to install some PGP tool and write a script to encrypt/decrypt and call the script from BPEL. this conclusion is based on a stmt given in the OWSM 10g book by sitaraman.
Please provide your insights on this.
Thanks
SivaHi Siva,
I don't think still there is any support for PGP in Oracle SOA. You may use java for PGP encryption/decryption and transfer externally encoded messages over SFTP.

Java Embedding bug in SOA Suite 11g BPEL??
I am beginning to wonder if there is a 'bug' in the SOA Suite 11g, BPEL, Java Embedding activity? Need some help as soon as possible – does the Java Embedding activity work in SOA Suite 11g?
Have tried the following on Jdev 11.1.1.1 and Jdev 11.1.1.3 – get the same error message (see below for error message).
Thanks for any help - Casey
I created a simple composite app by:
1. Created a Composite with BPEL Process
2. Created a BPEL variable by the name of Variable and a Simple Type of string ({http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}string)
3. Added an Assign activity (Assign_1) and assigned the value of “Test Var” to the variable Variable using a Copy operation.
4. Then, after the assign activity, added a Java Embedding activity (Java_Embedding_1) with Java Version set to 1.5 and the following code:
+try{+*
String var;*
var=(String)getVariableData(Variable);*
System.out.println(var);*

-
Hi,
i have a urgent requirement for my project using SOA Suite 11g,
and i have a problem in passing dynamic JNDI
to the database adapters (eis/DB/...).
say that i have 2 connections,
eis/DB/conn1, and eis/DB/conn2
how to switch this information dynamically in the bpel orchestration
and supply it to the db adapter.
since when using wizard we supplied it statically.
I notice that this problem seems to be answered in
this thread:
Thread: How to externalize JNDI name (setting JNDI name dynamically)
How to externalize JNDI name (setting JNDI name dynamically)
but when i tried it (using WS-Adressing substition) it doesnt
work in this newer version of SOA Suite (11g)
So how we can solve this in SOA Suite 11g
Thank you...Hi,
you don't need to change the resource adapter connection just change the (xa) datasource in the eis name
I know with the mediator I can assign a new datasource by setting the jca.db.xadatasource property and still use eis/DB/conn1
hope this helps

Error while starting the AqAdapter in SOA Suite 11g Admin Console
facing an issue with the AqAdapter(Resource Adapter) in Soa Suite 11g Admin Console.
we go to Deployments --> Select Aq Adapter --> Currently it shows the status as Prepared
Now we try to Start it again --> it comes back with the error message mentioned below
weblogic.application.ModuleException: weblogic.connector.exception.RAException:
Jndi Name is null or empty. Errors were encountered while performing this operation.
source path on the admin server is mentioned here for this AqAdapter:
/opt101/app/oracle/SOAD/SOA11gR1/fmw/Oracle_SOA1/soa/connectors/AqAdapter.rar
deployment plan :
/opt101/app/oracle/SOAD/SOA11gR1/fmw/Oracle_SOA1/soa/connectors/was/Plan. xml
We check in the Configuration tab --> Outbound Connection Pools -->
here it shows the Group as javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory and under it we have setup
2 connection pool instances with JNDI names as : eis/AQ/aqSample & eis/aq/B2BAQ
Could someone please help here as to what could be the reason why this error is coming and
how we could resolve this.
With Regards & thanksThis is what we have done :
1.Created the JDBC data source & connection pool as below :
data source name : B2BAQ , JNDI name : jdbc/B2BAQ
Connection Pool :
URL : taken from the tns entries of the instance
Driver Class Name : oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
Tested this connection ..it works fine from the Admin Console
2.Then go to Deployments --> AqAdapter -> Configuration tab --> Outbound Connection Pool Group -->
Create a new connection pool instance -- General tab
connection interface factory : javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory
JNDI Name : eis/AQ/B2BAQ
Then in Properties tab : Enter the Data Source Name : jdbc/B2BAQ
Then we try to Start the AqAdapter from the Admin Console..it goes into Prepared status.
The error message which comes is mentioned above.
Is there any way we could resolve this ..that would be very helpful
Regards

The tutorial emphasizes that I need jdk 1.6 update 11 in order to setup.
The newer release of wl server comes with jsk 1.6 update 14.
When I tried to run:
setup -jreLoc C:\Oracle\Middleware\home_11gR1\jdk160_14
no setup screen appeared.
Next, I setup stand alone jdk 1.6 update 11 and add it to path,
but setup -jreLoc C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_11 failed too, since no setup screen appeared
So I uninstalled version 10.3.2, installed 10.3.1 to follow exactly the tutorial specs.
Does one has to pay oracle consulting, in order to have an installation of soa suite up and running for development?
