JOB_CLOSE with parameter strtimmed = 'X' doesn't work (but subrc=0)

Greetings:
I've copied and modified report RPRAPA00 and in the include RPRAPAFO_ALV there is a call to JOB_CLOSE which has the "strtimmed" parameter set to "X" which I thought would cause the job in SM35 to start, well, immediately but when I go into SM35 after the report runs the session it creates is in "New" status and has to be processed manually. Maybe I don't understand what "strtimmed" means but I thought it would cause the session to be processed without manual intervention.
I need this to work because there's another program I need to call once this session is processed and without having it execute immediately (and synchronously) with this program the user will have to do two steps.
By the way, JOB_CLOSE returns with sy-subrc = 0.
If this is normal then what does "strtimmed" actually do? Also, how can I programmatically cause the session created to be processed from the program synchronously?

I think this should answer your question. The custom program you modified creates a background job for rfbikr00 which creates the BDC session
I suppose you have to process the BDC session to create the vendors or schedule the program RSBDCSUB to process it in background.
why does the the program RPRAPA00 bother creating a job that starts immediately, which contains program rfbikr00 as a task
This is how the interface is designed in SAP. Another similar program is RFBIBL00.

Okay, here's an update: the DVI to ADC adapter does work with the Apple displays that I have tried, but it won't work with the Formac. I have tried multiple time to contact them, but to no avail... they don't even respond to threats of posting my opinion of them, which is this:
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM FORMAC! They make quality products, but their customer service is a big time joke! They won't take care of you.

Likely because it's a not self contained and/or it's game and copy protected, so install it via the developers instructions instead, which likely means it will have ot be uninstalled off the first machine, the developer contacted for a new license key before installing on the newer machine.
If you want it on both machines, you will need to likely buy another license.
Most developers are fine with transfering license between machines, you have to contact them.
They just want to make sure it's only on one machine so they are not getting robbed.

First step is re-start the finder
1. Press command-option-esc simultaneously
2. Select Finder
3. Click on re-start

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

I have a MacBook Pro bought in dec 2009. Currently has mountain lion osx installed. Worked like a dream until today. Randomly froze, so I restarted it. To find I got a grey screen. It wouldn't start. Also note my DVD drive doesn't work, but mountain lion

I have a MacBook Pro bought in dec 2009. Currently has mountain lion osx installed. Worked like a dream until today. Randomly froze, so I restarted it. To find I got a grey screen. It wouldn't start. Also note my DVD drive doesn't work, but mountain lion was installed via App Store anyway.
So here's what I done so far:
tried resetting PRAM - No success
Done disk utility. Disk verified with no errors. I even re formatted disk. - no success starting.
Tried re installing mountain lion via download . It froze halfway installing -no success.
Tried backing up a time machine backup from my USB hard drive. It froze at 1% - no success
Tried booting from safe mode - no success
Tried the command line boot - no success.
Please someone help!

Sounds like the hard dre has left the building, Died, in the Sh*tter, Gone to the hard drive resting place in the sky.
Buy a new drive connect it to the system with a SATA to USB adapter and see if you can install Mt Lion on that drive connected externally. If you can then the drive inside your system has failed.
Oh Wait!!!! You have the 2009 model. They are known for bad drive to logic board cables. So it may not be the drive itself but the cable going from the drive to the logic board. Do the same as above then if the system runs OK with the new drive connected externally install it in the system and see if it boots. If it does you are good to go. If it doesn't then it is more then likely the cable that hs failed.
I would suggest you also SAVE a copy of that download of Mt Lion and create a USB install drive from it using Lion Disk Maker, once you get your system up and running.

Another item to consider is do you and your husband have your own iTunes accounts? If so then log out of iTunes on your old Macbook and log back in with your husbands ID and password. If not this post will self destruct in 10, 9, 8, ......

A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Then:
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? See other networks? If yes that tends to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
