Any idea?

  • How to schedule a job for transaction CG36, incl. variant?

    Hi all,
When you enter transaction CG36, you need to select a User Exist (EHS_DXSDB). After that you need to define a file path.
I would like to schedule a job for transaction: CG36 > Define User Exit: EHS_DXSDB (Import Dok-X material Safety Data Sheets) > and define a path. With transaction SE93, I found program name: RC1RIMPS (program is allowed to be job scheduled), only I can't create a Variant (to define the user exit and file path, no selectionscreen), how to create a variant?
The following programs can't be scheduled either (as they are not of type 1 or J):
    SAPLC131
    SAPLC1EO
    SAPLC3G
    Thank you in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Roy Derks

    Hello Roy
I am sorry. To my knowledge up to ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pack 4 there is no SAP EH&S process available there you can do what you are requesting. The "problem" is that you need to "answer" the user dialog. Therefore you can not generate/prepare a variant which could be processed as a job according to my knowledge.
Therefore in my opinion you have this option only: prepare a copy of the transaction (or only the report) using either "Z" or "Y (customer reports). Then you need to exclude some line in the code (which gives rise to the user dialog) and prepare some customer specific coding so that the resulting report can be used in such a way that a variant is possible, but you must make sure that the process later (the real upload process) is processed too in this "job" queue. IN any case: you need to check the log of the report and this must be done by an user. Therefore an automatic process does have some "risks"
The topic of import of reports is used in most cases during a set up of EH&S, because of mergers/acustions but not in the daily work with EH&S and there I believe that SAP does not support this demand.
    With best regards
    C.B.

  • Pre-processing job for Transactions

    Hi Archiving Forum,
In SAP help it is mentioned that pre-processing job is optional job. I am trying to run Write job for few of the transactions where the status is completed without pre-processing job.
But when i debugged the write program for - CRM_SERORD archiving object, the program internally checking the I1100 status for each Service ticket/ Order.
Here, all Service tickets were marked completed status on 24/03/2009.
Residency time for all transaction types is 1 day.
I am running the Write job for Service Ticket and Service order on 24/03/2009. - but job is not able to write the data into Archive files.
Should i wait for One day ( where it completes the Residency time) to run the Write job?
If i wait for one day, then the write program is internally checking the status I100 (Archival status). Is this status is updated by default in the CRM_JEST table after completing Residency period ?
    Please need concrete answers.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Kishore

    Hi Kishore,
Pre-processing job should be scheduled for archiving objects before runing write program because it will help in basic archivability check and makes the basement for write program.
Without executing pre-processing program write program will fails to archive data. For example: CO_ORDER, MM_EKKO, MM_EBAN and so on... in R/3 system.
Similarly in CRM system Pre-processing program will help
In check, the following database changes for CRM_SERORD:
    1) The date of the archivability check is updated.
    2) For the archivable data, the status is changed to 'Archivable'. Then the
    data is no longer changeable.
    3) For the archivable data, the system sends a deletion BDoc type with
message type 'A' (for archiving) via the CRM Middleware so that the other
components involved in mySAP CRM solutions are informed about an archiving
of the data in the CRM server. The system sends deletion BDoc types at this
time because the change to an unchangeable status is the status change
which is relevant from a business point of view.
    In CRM 3.0 version
The check occurs in an archiving object-specific preprocessing program
entered for the archiving object in transaction AOBJ.
As of mySAP CRM5.0 it is controlled using transaction SARA check/delete
    In your case:
Even after passing of 1 day of residence time service order or service ticket will not be archive since write program will not set the status for archive I1100. Preprocessing program calling functional module and setting the status as archivable (I1100) after all the pre-requisites are met and write program will archive those data.
The status in ST / SO will not be automatically changed after meeting residence time.
Please also read OSS note no 500551.
    -Thanks,
    Ajay

  • Is there a possibility create background jobs for transaction SP01?

We are creating spool requests (status 'to be processed') for specific printers that are located in different time zones. We want to schedule print jobs by printer to make sure the prints come out at a time the user specifies to us. I am looking for a program with the possibility to make variants by printer that I can include in a job to be created via SM36.Looking forward to your suggestions!

I just noticed the exact same thing. It turns out that the httpd-ssl.conf file on my system is still the old v2.2 syntax, which means that the SSLMutex directive is still in there. This is an invalid directive after 2.2.
This is where things get interesting. At first, I simply thought I had forgotten to merge httpd-ssl.conf.pacnew after apache had been upgraded to 2.4. However, when I check my pacman.log, it appears that httpd-ssl.conf was never upgraded when apache went to 2.4 - (2.2.26-1 -> 2.4.7-1). There was never a pacnew file generated to be merged.
I took a look at the apache package via the abs and the "proper" httpd-ssl.conf is certainly in there, so why pacman never created a pacnew file is a mystery.
Anyway, to fix this: pull the httpd-ssl.conf from the apache package, either from your cache, using the abs and building it, or (I think) pacman may re-install it if you move the file to a backup location (not sure about this). Then merge your original httpd-ssl-conf with the new one.

  • Problem in creating Batch job for programs in different servers.

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement like i have 2 different programs ( PRG1,PRG2 ) running in 3 different SAP servers (SER1,SER2,SER3).
I want to create a batch job for the programs.
Here When I run the PRG1 in Server SER1,it will create a file1 in SER1 as well as the other 2 servers (SER2 and SER3).
It just create a file and there is no content in the file.Once i start writing records to file1in SER1,the same record will be started writing in SER2 and SER3.This is using PRG1.
Once PRG1 will complete writing records in file,Next PRG2 will run in SER2 using file created by PRG1.
I want to create a batch job for PRG1.
How to trigger the PRG2 after completing job1 for PRG1 without any manual interaction.
    Please help me for this.

    Hi Ambili
You can set steps in these jobs in transaction SM36.
You can define that Job 2 starts after Job1 complete sucessfully and same game for other jobs.
Please, check attachment for detailed information about that
    Kind regards

  • Schedule Background job using transaction CATM

    Hi all,
Since we cannot schedule a background job using transaction CATM, I have created a program calling the CATM transaction through batch-input.
I have done a recording and entered the coding in a Z-program. For a vendor, I have recorded time in CAT2 for multiple purchase orders.
After entering the vendor number in CATM, all the purchase orders showed up. I have clicked 'select all' and posted.
When I run the program in the background, it posts only for one purchase order.
When I  run the program in the foreground, using the Select All-button it only proceeds with the first line in my list of PO's.
How to read the whole stack and post the whole stack of purchase orders?
Please help me out with this.
    Thanks

    Hi,

When I  run the program in the foreground, using the Select All-button it only proceeds with the first line in my list of PO's.
See..it's a Z-program so Its difficult to answer without checking the program. But I think, you should check your BDC again from Debugging, with the help of your abaper. You will find, why its is processing only one entry.

  • Invoice List Job for F2 Only.  Exclude other Billing types, e.g. L2,

Hi:     We have just set up a job for invoice list.  Everything seems to ran alright until customer service created a debit memo (L2) for that customer and the debit memo got consolidated with the rest of the F2.  I understand that L2 will be consolidated because the invoice list type set in the billing document setting is LR.
I later found that we do have a long list of billing docs that is set to LR as the invoice list type. (Please see below)
The requirement that I've got from the user is that they only want F2 invoice consolidated in the invoice list.  What would be the best advise to do this?
    Can anyone please advise?
    Thanks!
    F1     Invoice
    F2     Invoice
    FAS     Canc.down pymnt req.
    FAZ     Down payment request
    L2     Debit Memo
    FP     Billing POS-Interfce
    FR     Invoice Repair
    FV     Invoice Contract
    FX     Billing Ext Transact
    G2S     Cred. memo 3rd party
    HR     Billing Training Adm
    IGS     Cancel ICM
    IV     Intercompany Billing
    IVA     IB order-related
    S1     Cancellation of Inv
    S3     Cancellation of Inv
    SHR     Cancel Training Adm
    WIA     Plants Abroad
    ZF2     Drop Ship US Cust
    ZIV     Interco. Invoice
    ZL2     I/C Debit Memo
    ZML2     Misc Debit Memo
    ZSF2     Samples Invoice

We need to know what this "Job" is using for the invoice list. Is it T-Code VF05, VF04, etc?
Either of these you could create a variant for the job to only include specific Document Type(s) ala F2

  • Why the background job for downloading file failed?

I have a background job for downloading file with logical path.
    with
    'OPEN DATASET l_out_file FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT';
Now, the program can be run in foreground;but when it running on background, it shows 'open file error'.
I do not know what happen?
    Please help ~~

    Hi,
The logical path you have provided might be incorrect or you might not have the necessary authorization to read/write on that folder.
Please check the folder in transaction AL11 & check whether you have the authorization to read/write. BASIS consultant would be able to tell you about it.

  • Define back ground job for Maintenance Order Settlement through KO8G

    Hi Experts,
I need to define back ground job for Maintenance Order Settlement through KO8G transaction code.
    Here are the requirements
    1. The job should run on weekly basis automatically.
    2. The settlement period and posting period should be taken care by the job dynamically. i.e. if the job runs in July, the job should pick up Settlement period and posting period as 7 automatically.
Kindly let me know the steps to define the back ground job as per above requirement.
    Sanjeev

To run the KO8G  each week, the a RECURRING job has to be created.  At my job, Basis/Ops department would create and schedule the job.
To have the posting periods, dates etc dynamically determined at the time the job runs:
    Create the variant and save.
In 5.0, KO8G does not save a variant, therefore, go to SE38 and create a variant for program: RKO7KO8G
When you go to the ATTRIBUTES screen, to add a name and description, you will see a list of all the fields that are part of the selection criteria.
For an example, I frequently use the Posting Date. To the right of the screen is a field called Selection Variable, click on the drop box and select D - Dynamic Date Calculation.
Go to field NAme of variable, click on drop box and select the variable you want.
Each field has its own list of selection variable and name of variable depending on how it works in the progra.
If you look at Posting period you will see:
         T: Table Variable from TVARVC
         B: User-defined variables
I do not know about User defined variables, but for TVARC there is thread that leads to a "how to" blog
[How create a variable in the TVARVC that calculate the last week]
do some more searching and you should find more answers
    Good luck

    Hello,
Go into transaction code RSPC and then select the particular process chain by going into the edit mode and in the menu...
Look for Execution --> Remove from Schedule.
Let me know if that answered your question.
    Thanks
