Job logs are automatically deleted..Why?

Hi,
All jobs logs older than one weeks are deleted from my system..How come it is?
Is there parameter settings for this?
How to avoid that?
Thanks in Advance.

Jansi

My iPod Touch 4th Gen was running very slow, so after reading a blog, I doings clicked my home button and pressed the red button to stop some apps from running. It made my iPod work relatively faster, but my iMessages didn't seem to be working in the same way as they used to. It no longer alerts me when I have a message, even though I haven't touched my notification settings and my messages are always being automatically deleted. It doesn't even show the number or messages in a red circle anymore, I just have to check my messages by clicking into iMessage instead...
This is really annoying me and I can't save old messages anymore or reply quickly to any! Please help!

I still have phone numbers from twenty years ago after having many phones ,have only lost the ones from the So called " Smart phone" !! Not too feckin smart if you ask me !! Think I will try the rock idea !! Thanks anyway Rojmer

  • Hotmail: my password is listed in the tools box, but is not entered when logging on so I have to type it in every time. all other passwords are automatically entered. why not hotmail?

Windows Live Hotmail: every time I log on to this site for my emails, I have to manually type in my password, instead of Firefox automatically doing it.The tools box for saved passwords shows the right password in the list of saved passwords, so why is this particular password not entered automatically? All other saved passwords are entered automatically in the appropriate website logins. Puzzling!

Are you referring to the SAME computer/login?
If not, he likely has auto-complete (or similar) enabled and you probably do not.

  • My notes are being deleted, why?

About 6 documents in my notes app were deleted and I have no idea why. Is there any reason for this and how do I get them back?

If you have backed up your iPhone to iTunes or iCloud before the deletion, then you can restore your iPhone with the backup file to get them back. Or now you can open www.icloud.com, sign in with your Apple ID to check out whether the deleted notes are there or not. If they're there, you can sync them to your iPhone.

  • Webdav and xdb, xml-files are automatically deleted (or hidden)

    Hi All.
In our project we have mounted webdav from a Linux box against an IBM database server running AIX and Oracle 11g.
The file system on the Linux box is mounted to the xdb-schema on the dbserver.
When placing xml-files into the database through the webdav-catalogue on the Linux-box the files are copied over, but almost immediatly removed (or hidden) from the target directory in the database.
I´m thinking there might be a trigger that tries to validate the xml-file against an xsd that isn´t registered in XDB. The reason for this is that when suffixing these files with something other than .xml the files are kept visible to all users.
What I´d like to know is how to disable this check/trigger, and which trigger does this.
Can anybody tell me if my assumtion is correct, and if yes, how to disable this checking?
Our users in the project will also be given access to folders through this webdav mount, and they will use this as a storage space for other xml-files as well. Files we do not have xsd´s for. Another function for this webdav directory is to serve as a source directory for ODI, and ODI validates the files against the xsd when transferring data to the database, so we don´t need this extra validation in the database.
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi,
What's the database version? (select * from v$version)
When placing xml-files into the database through the webdav-catalogue on the Linux-box the files are copied over, but almost immediatly removed (or hidden) Does that mean you see them for a short period of time, and then they disappear, or you never see them at all?
Are you using XML DB events?
You can check if there's any resource configuration defined, and that may explain this behaviour :
    select x.*
    from xdb.xdb$resconfig rc
       , xmltable(
           xmlnamespaces(default 'http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/XDBResConfig.xsd')
         , '/ResConfig/event-listeners/listener'

  • Messages are automatically deleted in my N97

    I dont what is happening
it happened 2 times in 2 days
    All messages were formated automatically
    inbox, sent , drafts everything

Did you connect phone via usb ? This can change memory in use, they may be still there. Best to use E but connecting usb can revert to C, so when you disconnect your messages don't show and you need to go into settings and reset default to E, Also check the number of messages you have set to store ( Mine's set to 300 )

  • Black & White Raw Images are Automatically Colorized -- Why?

I am using a Lumix GF1 and shooting in black & white and raw.  I have the latest Adobe Camera Raw Program (5.6, I think), Photoshop CS4 and Bridge.  I upload the images from the camera to my pc using Bridge.  They appear in Brdige one-by-one in black & white.  After the last image, Bridge converts them all to color automatically -- and I can't figure out how to stop it.  Can anyone help me?  This only happens to the raw images, not the jpegs.

There is no such thing as a "black and white raw" image or image file.  The B&W is just a tag in metadata that tells the camera software to show you a b&w image, but the raw file wll always have the full color information.
Camera Raw by design ignores the proprietary b&w tag set by your camera.
You can always convert to grayscale in Camera Raw.

  • PR automatic deleted which are created via MRP

    Hi,
I have lot of purchase requisitions in system which are automatically deleted.
There are no change logs for these PRs.
There PRs are automatically created via MRP and POs are also automatically created with a batch job.
How these PRs are getting deleted?
    Please advice.
    Thanks,

    Hi
When you are running MRP through MD01 and entering in put paramenter in the initial screen as below.
Processing key            NETCH   Net Change in Total Horizon
Create purchase req.       1       Purchase requisitions in opening period
    Schedule lines                  3       Schedule lines
Create MRP list                 1       MRP list
Planning mode                  3       Delete and recreate planning data
Scheduling                       1       Determination of Basic Dates for Planned
marked are the reason because of which during next MRP run Purchase requisition are deleting & recreating new as per current demand. If any partial PR converted in to PO will become firm & those PR will not be delted automatically during MRP run
    Hope this clear.

  • Which function module to delete job log?

Hi, I submit report via jobname and jobcount. After I close job and run it, we can see jobname is still in job log by SMX. But client doesn't want to see it, so who can kindly tell me which function module can delete jobname from job log?
    Thanks a lot.
    Jack

    try        CALL FUNCTION 'BP_JOB_DELETE'
If you have used JOB_OPEN before the SUBMIT to create the job, you can automatically delete the job upon successful completion by setting the parameter DELANFREP = 'X' in the JOB_OPEN function call.. this way the user will only see the logas for cancelled/aborted jobs..

  • Error reading job logs of Apps server from Central Instance

    Dear Gurus,
We have newly installed system with one CI ( cluster environment) and 2 application Instances.
Systems are recently installed by other team. I am looking into support part after handover.
We have noticed below error while reading failed background job logs from our CI. If suppose any job is failing, we can read respective job log from that application instance but it throws error while reading job log from CI to either of application instance.
I checked /sapmnt/SID/global is shared among all 3 servers and i am successfully able to "Touch a" from applications instances.
    Even though i have given "777" permissions to all folders like  /sapmnt/SID , /sapmnt/SID/global , /sapmnt/SID/global/400JOB*
I am not able to read job log from CI , for same failed job I can read job log from respective application instance.
    Error log :
    Error reading job log JOBLGX00080700X39290
    Message no. BT167
    Diagnosis
The background processing system was unable to read the job log named in the message.
This message suggests that there is a problem with the TEMSE storage system of the SAP system.  The TEMSE storage system is a repository for temporary objects, such as job logs and spool requests. Job logs are always stored in the TEMSE as operating system files.
This error occurs if the TEMSE system is not able to find or access the file that contains the text of the job log that you requested. Possible causes for the loss or unavailability of the job log include the following:
Someone deleted the required TEMSE file (from the operating system, not from within the SAP system).
A CRON (or equivalent scheduler) job has deleted the TEMSE file.
The file system in which the TEMSE stores its files is not mounted or is not accessible (NFS problem, disk failure, or similar problem).
The TEMSE reorganize or consistency check functions were used within the SAP system and deleted the job log.
    SM21 logs :
    Error 2 for write/read access to a file. File = /usr/sap/SID/SYS/global
BP_JOBLOG_SHOW: Failed to display jobs. Reason:
    > Error reading job log JOBLGX00080700X39290
Strange this is I can check failed job log on one application instance frfom other application instance but not from CI.
Kindly throw some lights where to check.
    Regards,

    Hi Shravan,
I guess it is related to permission to /sapmnt/SID/global folder. Please ensure owner is sidadm:sapsys in all the systems viz CI, App servers etc.
Check the mounting options are correctly set with read/write mode.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Deepak Kori

  • What log files can delete in RAC?

    Hi,
I have a little question, what log files can delete?
    $ORA_CRS_HOME/log/hostname/client ?
    And what others?
    Miguel

Some logs are automatically purged and some not: see http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/rac.102/b14197/appsupport.htm#BEHJHGJD.
Trace files (.trc) that can be created in same directories are not purged automatically.

  • Reading and writing a JOB LOG

    Hi
How do we read the job log?
    How do we display it?
    Regards
    Nishant

    HI
    GOOD
    GO THROUGH THIS
    Use
All message types issued by a program running in the background are stored in a job log, which you can display either to obtain information on a prematurely terminated program or to complete a detailed investigation of a particular background processing run. A separate log file is created for each job.
    Deleting Log Files
You should never delete log files directly. If you want to clear the log directory, you must delete the jobs to which the logs belong. In the process, the logs are also deleted.
Job logs are held in the TemSe temporary sequential objects storage facility. TemSe is configured to always store job logs as operating system files in the shared SAP directories. If you delete log files directly at the operating system level, you create inconsistencies in the TemSe database, which you'll then need to eliminate with the Consistency check function in Transaction SP12.
    Log Messages
Log messages are generally output using ABAP keyword MESSAGE. With the exception of ABAP breakpoint statistics, no other data is normally output to the job log.
    ABAP Short Dumps
If an ABAP program generated a dump when it terminated abnormally, you can display the dump by clicking on the Abend message.
    Batch Input Messages
Messages output during batch input sessions are not recorded in the job log. These messages are output only to the batch input system.
    Procedure
           1.      Go to Select Background Jobs using Transaction SM37 or by choosing CCMS ® Jobs ® Maintenance.
           2.      Select the jobs you want to review in the job log by specifying conditions that identify the job or jobs, including job name, user name, job status, start condition, or contents of a job step. Execute this selection to see a list of jobs that match these criteria.
           3.      In the Job overview screen, select your desired job and choose Job log.
           4.      In the Job Log Entries for ).
           6.      For further information about a particular item in the job log, select the line and choose Long text. The resulting help screen can include further information about diagnosing the message, the system’s response to the message, and how the user should follow up.

  • Adobe Reader IE plugin (11.0.04 - .06) is automatically deleted after first restart

    Hi all
I have discovered a strange bug (as I like to call it). Since Adobe Reader version 11.0.04 (now we have 11.0.06) there is problem with IE plugin.
When I install it - everything is working and from IE I can succesfully open pdf files. But when I restart computer after Adobe Reader installation, all plugin files are missing (like they are automatically deleted) from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX folder. And ofcourse IE plugin is not working any more.
Workaround is when AFTER first computer restart I manually copy all plugin files to that folder or repair Adobe Reader installation - then files are not being deleted any more. As I said, it is very strange problem.
However this workaround is not acceptable to me because I have lots of computers where I need this software to be installed.
Have anybody seen this problem and know how to fix this? Other browser (firefox, chrome) plugins are working correctly after fist restart. This problem is with Windows 8.1 / IE11 and Windows 7 / IE9
In Adobe Reader version 11.0.03 everything is working and after first restart plugin is not being automatically deleted.

    Hi
No, it's not an antivirus software, because same thing happens in clean windows 7 system (without any antivirus or other specific software). And like I said, it started with version 11.0.04 - earlier versions are OK.
Also not only IE plugin files are gone after first restart but also Adobe Reader shortcut in Start Menu. Adobe Reader itself is working.
After first restart and repairing Adobe Reader installation - these files are not being deleted any more. It is not helping if I do repair after installation and before first restart. The thing is, only first restart after installation always deletes these files.
I looked everywhere in Windows (registry, startup, scheduled tasks) where might be some clue what is deleteing these files - didn't find anything.
