Job name and Job frequency

Hi All,
Can any one help me out in finding the Job name and Job frequency.
I wanted to know the Job name and Job frequency for eash & every message type specified in particular Partner Type in we20.
For example:
Let suppose my partner profile name is some country name like 'INDIA'.Ok. For Partner Name 'INDIA" we have some message type, message variant as Outbound and Inbound Parameters.
Now,there might be some Job running on background to process these message type.
I want the exact name of the Job Name and Its frequency.

Please ask the function people what is the business logic they have configured.usually we activate change pointers for any IDOC and as soon as any changes are made for that IDOC,it is triggered.the functional person will tell you at what stage they are posting this IDOC.
RBDMIDOC is the report which is used for creating IDOC's based upon the change pointers.but there are other ways too in which IDOC's can be triggered,so you would be better off asking the function person.

I have a requirement wherein I need to get the Current Background Job name and Job Count in the program and store it in a custom table. In other words, whenever I schedule a particular program ( This is a Std program) in background, I need to update this table with the Job Name and Job Count. This will be used by another program later to read the Job Information from table TBTCO. TBTCO has key fields Job Name and Job ID. The sheduled program will be a SAP standard program and I'll be writing the logic to get the info in an Implicit Enhancement Spot.
Is there anyway I can do this? Any FM to get this information?

Check the FM GET_JOB_RUNTIME_INFO. With this you can get the job name and number.

Would you please share your thoughts what SAP job field do you match here for job code and job level. Is the job code on the survey provider file is equivant to the job object ID? Not sure. Also what would you match Job level to?

OTL: Display Job Name and Cost KFF

Hi,
Im using Payroll layout timecard. Along with the employee name and hours, I need to display the following:
1. After employee name I should display his job title (which should pull automatically from his assignment screen)
2. I should display my Costing KFF (only two segments to display out of 6 segments we use).
How to add these to my layout?

In Solution Manager 7.1, after creation of Job Request, when i try to click on CRM Document number of the respective Job Request, it asks me to Select Business Role instead of guiding it to the screen of the incident management wherein Job Documentation is to be created from Job Request.

I have SAP_ALL with my user id and have also given role "SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO" and selected "SOLMANPRO" as well , but in the resultant incident it does not have the tab of Job Scheduling Management from which we can create job document for the requisite job request

Interface Problems: DBA = Data Pump = Export Jobs (Job Name)

Hello Folks,
I need your help in troubleshooting an SQL Developer interface problem.
DBA => Data Pump => Export Jobs (Job Name) => Data Pump Export => Job Scheduler (Step):
-a- Job Name and Job Description fields are not visible. Well the fields are there but each of them just 1/2 character wide. I can't see/enter anything in the fields.
Import Wizard:
-b- Job Name field under the first "Type" wizard's step looks exactly the same as in Export case.
-c- Can't see any row under "Chose Input Files" section (I see just ~1 mm of the first row and everything else is hidden).
My env:
-- Version 3.2.20.09, Build MAIN-09.87
-- Windows 7 (64 bit)
It could be related to the fact that I did change fonts in the Preferences. As I don't know what is the default font I can't change it back to the default and test (let me know what is the default and I will test it).
PS
-- Have tried to disable all extensions but DBA Navigator (11.2.0.09.87). It didn't help
-- There are no any messages in the console if I run SQL Dev under cmd "sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe

a-I see those 1/2 character size text boxes (in my case on frequency) when the pop up dialog is too small - do they go away when you make it bigger?
b- On IMPORT the name it starts with IMPORT - if it is the half character issue have you tried making the dialog bigger?
c-I think it is size again but my dialog at minimum size is already big enough.
Have you tried a smaller font - or making the dialogs bigger (resizing from the corners).
I have a 3.2.1 version where I have not changed the fonts from Tools->Preferences->CodeEditor->Fonts appears to be:
Font Name: DialogInput
Font size: 12

Require Job name in SM37 while executing call transaction in background

Hi all,
I am executing a report program, which contains Call transaction.
I have recorded properly. The recording contains background job screen also ( means a separate popup came and i gave the job name and i gave immediately )
When i execute in this program in foreground its creating job,its showing the job in sm37.
But when i execute this program in background, it does not showing the job name in sm37.
Anyone kindly help this out?

The job will be created by the step level user.
Try searching again with jobname and * for username.

Help Required Regarding - SAP Job names using R3 data flows

We are calling a set of SAP Jobs using R3 data flows in data services. When ever a job fails we first kill the active SAP jobs by logging into SAP and then restarting the Jobs.
There are about 100 odd SAP jobs that we call using these Data services Jobs so we wanted to kill the jobs using a reusable code on the SAP side by passing the Job name just before every R3 flows just incase its still in active status.
So wanted to know if there are any short cuts to retrive the set of associated SAP job names because it will be a tedious process to hardcode the SAP job names and pass them as parameters for all the 100 + SAP job names in the custom defined resuable code.
Any help or advice on this please !!

keeps on degrading as the number of columns and rows increase .
Can somebody suggest some improvement regarding this
and regarding creating multiple instances of the same object Class.forName() will be using a hash already, so there is probably not much room for improvement.
Class.newInstance() probably does not take significantly more processing than a simple "new Fubar();".
Umpteen reflective method invokations (one per column) for each row/instance - Are you saying these are the problem?
You can test this easy enough.
If you comment out the reflective method invocations and leave the rest of your code untouched,
does your application processing speed up significantly?

Progam name through sap job name ?

Hi All,
I am functional consultant. In my client system sap auto generate a file at night & saved this file on different non-sap server.
Now we are facing error, data that we are sending from sap is not matching to recieving server(showing less qty in non-sap server).
I have only sap job name. Can anybody tell me how to see the program name for the same or where I can see the data in sap that is transfering to non-sap.
Point will be awarded on prompt reply.

Use to code SM37 , Give the job name and give username as * then execute . On the generated list choose the checkbox then click step you will get a a table like below....
No. Program name/command Program ty. Spool list Parameters User Lang.
1 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ABAP &0000000000009 USername EN
Where XXXXXXXX is the program name.

Displaying Jobs Status and Logs without using SM37

Hello All,
First of all, thanks a lot for your time.
We're being asked by the Audit Team to remove tcode SM37 from our Job Roles. Although I agree with them that users should not have "change" or broad display access for the tcode, some of them need to check other user's Jobs status, as well as their Job Logs (which I have managed to restrict using auth. object S_BTCH_JOB).
My question is: do you know if there's any alternative way or a transaction different than SM37 to display other user's Jobs status and Job Logs?
We're providing SMX for user's own jobs, but I have not been able to find an alternative way than using a restricted version of SM37 for displaying other people's Jobs status and Job Logs.

You can either create your own monitor locally ( see transaction RZ20) or develop it on your own (see FM BP_JOB_STATUS_GET).
If you want to use SM37 then you can add SHOW to S_BTCH_JOB but this might be problematic in combination with RELE (of their own jobs).

Job code to Job Family Relationship

Hi Experts,
I noticed that only one Job code can be related to a Job Family (via A450 relationship).
For example, if Job code 1 is linked to Job Family and later if I link Job code 2 to the same Job Family, the relationship between
Job code 1 and the Job Family is lost.
Is it possible to have several Job codes associated with one Job Family? Please list any config steps to do the same.

Hi Paul,
Let me explain if I have understood you properly.
1. You create relationship between Job 1 and Job family on 01.01.2010
2. You create relationship between job 2 and job family on 01.01.2010
Now you after second step you the first relationship is erased, right.
This is because of the time constraints for relationship A 045. The time constraint must be 2 in your config. Make it to 3.
or you can also have time constraint based on the target object ID.
Steps to follow.
-Go to OOVK t-code
-select your relationship
- click on time constraints on the left hand side
- find the entry for your relationship. I think it should be 2 . Make it to 3
