New multi-platform Mobile Flex app development
I thought I'd post this note to encourage anyone that hasn't tried multi-platform Mobile Flex application development yet. Inside 4 weeks, I managed to get this application up on both the Android and Apple app stores:
http://itunes.com/apps/trontextfx
http://market.android.com/details?id=air.com.uifx.trontext
It's a pretty simply app, but it demos a number of features:
Multi-DPI scaling (splash screen and background)
Multi-touch gestures
Colour Picker dialog that scales based on available screen space
Portrait/Landscape orientation
Pre-rendered icons (for iOS)
Works for both tablets and mobile phones
Some challenges I ran into:
The DPI differences between tablets and mobiles - the tablet version's imagesare scaled slightly. It would be nice if the code didn't have to do "isTablet" checks
The scaling of filter effects (e.g. glow) had to be handled manually. Though this could be due to the way the text is scaled, rather than using a projection to zoom in & out...
The animation for showing/hiding the controls got confused if the screen was rotated at the same time.
Making the toolbar icons more-touchable by adding transparent pixels to the edges, so that the image size matched the desired hotspot size (45px).may be i know what happen, i try to draw shape on the view, not on the Image, it work.
i think may be my image does not show on the view, but i have set the visible=true, it is stilll can't see the Image,
how to make the Image can see in the view? -

I have bought a new computer and backed up off time machine backup now I cannot open photoshop get error code 150 30 help appreciated.?
Have you updated your iTunes on your computer? WIth a device running iOS7, you need iTunes 11.
When you removed iTUnes, did you see something named 'apple mobile device support' or something like it? (The exact name varies from operating system to operating system). If you see that, uninstall it too. That's the drivers for your iPhone and they should self-install when you plug your device in.
If all that is fine, have you checked your cable and USB port? a malfunctioning cable can keep you from syncing. -

Can't open links on New York Times website
I have the New York Times as my home page. Until yesterday, I had no issues accessing any of the content within (except for the new Premium articles.) However, when I click on any article, I get an error back that says no data found. If I log in through Explorer, I don't have this issue.
Just me?Thanks a lot for the tip! I wrote to the NYTimes webmaster but did not get a reply. However, the next day my problem was solved and I could access all content as I did previously. Either a coincidence or...? I'll take it either way and thanks again!

How do I open a frame in a new window or tab?
I want to be able to open frames into their own tabs or window... So how do you do this, or is Firefox NOT CAPABLE of this... i.e. it's LAME and should be shot? (=:]
How do I open a frame in a new window or tab?
========================
Basically... I right click, and a context menu pops up... and there is no option for what I want to do... basically because the frame is so small, and the frame table for this particular site is set to fixed... so you can't resize them... so it's almost impossible to read. If only I could easily click and open in a new window or tab...
I mean... yeah, I can VIEW SOURCE by hand, manually, and find grope the freaking HTML until I find the desired frame URL... but Uhh... likee that's really inefficient, and a waste of time and frankly gives me a headache...
There's got to be an easy way to do this... either with a setting, which I fail to know about, or by a plugin or extension... or by tweaking the source code... but I'm not a programmer, so I'm handicapped there. If you right-click and don't see a context menu item that says '''This Frame''', that page isn't made with Frames; I-frames aren't "Frames". Unless you have an extension installed that is messing up your context menus ....
