Job Terminated on Signal 11

I have received a Tidal Bridge configuration file to run on our current AIX hardware. After creating a new Env. File and executing a test job I receive the following error message in the output file.
Launcher Error: Job error:- Job terminated on signal 11
JDE EnterpriseOne - 9.0
Tidal
Master Status - version 6.0.2.155
Plugin(tes-6.0) - version 6.0.2.154
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What bridge are you running? You might need the latest bridge software. If it is Informatica or JDE, you should be using the adapter in 6.x.
I have also seen this error has related to ulimit in AIX environments and we have a paramter that you can try adding to your tagent.ini. More information is below. In the future, please contact support for errors to ensure faster response. This forum is not designed to support errors in the product.
AIX only
HOT00464 : AIX Agent not honoring ulimits set from LDAP.
Problem : Customer desires way to make agent work as it did before
HOT00444.
Fix : Added 'ulimitold=y|n' tagent.ini parameter to control whether read
standard AIX limits file or not (default is read file  - 'ulimitold=n').
If this does not resolve your issue, please contact support for further help.

Try downgrading libxcursor back to 1.1.14-1
There are several posts here about segfaults being caused by the upgrade libxcursor (1.1.14-1 -> 1.1.14-2)
The first few results of a search for libxcursor will give more details.

  • Autoinvoice Issue: Program was terminated by signal 11

    Hi, All -
A number of Autoinvoice jobs complete with an exact number of rows updated: 645, and with a message: "Program was terminated by signal 11". What does this message represents in this case? Also, I am not sure if these jobs are completing successfully: Same number of rows updated in multiple jobs doesn't make a lot of sense, although these jobs are completing with normal status.
Concurrent Request Name: Autoinvice Import Program
    No completion options were requested.
    /appsvr/CM/prodappl/ar/11.5.0/bin/RAXTRX
Program was terminated by signal 11
    Rows updated: 645
    Complete with normal status
(NOTE): I also see a number of jobs where the row updates are much larger than 645 and I don't see the signal 11 message in the log files. All I see at the end is: Concurrent request completed successfully.
Any ideas on this behavior? Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Faire

I am going through the following steps:
    a) Creating an Index on the Line Transaction Flexfield on RA_INTERACE_LINES_ALL.
    b) Old application or AutoInvoice code: Make sure that we are on the latest patchset and have applied the latest performance patch for Autoinvoice,
if any, for our application release.
    c) Going over Custom indexes or triggers.
    d) Missing or disabled indexes or triggers on AR tables: Checking the Technical Reference Manual to verify we have all the indexes and triggers on the AR
    tables.
    e) Run Gather Schema Statistics from the SYSADMIN responsibility (Release 11i)
Here are some additional note references regarding autoinvoices.
    Note:197213.1
    Note:176650.1
    Note:198715.1
    f) Use the adadmin utility called adrelink to relink RAXMTR AND RAXTRX.

    Thanks,
    Madhu,

    Hello,
As per the screen shot provided below, data soruce belongs to LO, so first check in RSA7, whether it has got mark in RSA7, for which you have entries in RSA7 against the data source. If you are not able to find the data source in RSA7, then you need to set-up the update methods, based on the requirement.
    1) Direct Delta
    2) Queued Delta
    3) Unserialised V3 Update
Once it is done, Delete the Previous Initilisation, again perform the Re-Init With Out data and now schedule the Delta Data Loads
    Hope this may Help you.
    Thanks

    Mahi,
This appears to be a serious database issue. Unfortunately, there is no simple magical fix I guess. Going through Oracle Support, instead of applying some patch, is the better route, i believe.

  • Regarding "Data does not match the job definition; job terminated"

    Dear Friends,
The following job is with respect to an inbound interface that transfers data into SAP.
The file mist.txt is picked from the /FI/in directory of the application server and is moved to the /FI/work directory of application server for processing. Once the program ends up without any error, the file is moved to /FI/archive directory.
The below are the steps listed in job log, no spool is generated for this job and it ended up with an error "Data does not match the job definition; job terminated".Please see below for more info.
    1.Job Started
2.Step 001 started (program Y_SAP_FI_POST, variant MIST, user ID K364646)
    3.File mist.txt copied from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/in/ to /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/work/.
    4.File mist.txt deleted from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/in/.
    5.File mist.txt read from /data/sap/ARD/interface/FI/work/.
6.PD-DKLY-Y_SAP_FI_POST: This job was started periodically or directly from SM36/SM37 (Message Class: BD, Message Number : 076)
7.Job PD-DKLY-Y_SAP_FI_POST: Data does not match the job definition; job terminated (Message Class : BD, Message No. 078)
    8.Job cancelled after system exception
    ERROR_MESSAGE
Could you please analyse and come up about under what circumstance the above error is reported.
As well I heard that because of the customization issues in T.Code BMV0, the above error has raised.
Also please note that we can define as well schedule jobs from the above transaction and the corresponding data is stored in the table TBICU
    My Trials
    1. Tested uplaoding an empty file
    2. Tested uploading with wrong data
    3. Tested uploading with improper data that has false file structue
But failed to simulate the above scenario.
    Clarification Required
Assume that I have defined a job using BMV0. Is that mandatory to use the same job in SM37/SM36 for scheduling?
    Is the above question valid?

    Hi dharmendra
    Good Day
    How are you
I am facing the same problem which you have posted
By any chance have you got the soultion for this
If so please let me know the solution for this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers

  • Custom Report - emsg was terminated by signal 11

    Hi All,
We are in middle of upgrade. We are in testing the upgrade.
We have upgraded DB (9i to 10.2.0.4), techstack, jdevelopper patchset19, java and jre.
We now have a custom report that finishes with
Environment will now switch to UTF-8 code-set.
Parts of this log file may not display correctly
as a result.  This is an expected behavior.
    XML_REPORTS_XENVIRONMENT is :
    $ORACLE_HOME/guicommon6/tk60/admin/Tk2Motif_UTF8.rgb
    XENVIRONMENT is set to  $ORACLE_HOME/guicommon6/tk60/admin/Tk2Motif_UTF8.rgb
Current NLS_LANG and NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS Environment Variables are :
    CANADIAN FRENCH_AMERICA.UTF8
    stat_low = B
    stat_high = 0
emsg was terminated by signal 11When browsing Metalink, I came across this note: 428335.1. I could reproduce the problem by doing ar60runb from O/S. I then did strace as written in the doc.
From the trace created, I can see
    munmap(0xb7fa5000, 4096) = 0
    munmap(0xb7ee4000, 790528) = 0
    --- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
    +++ killed by SIGSEGV +++
As described in the doc, I did a search&find in the file for '0xb7ee4000'. I am not 100% if it is the same as in the note:
    open($FND_TOP/resource/ALBANWTJ.ttf", O_RDONLY) = 13
    fstat64(13, {st_mode=S_IFREG|0755, st_size=18472778, ...}) = 0
    old_mmap(NULL, 4096, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0xb7fa5000
    _llseek(13, 0, [0], SEEK_SET) = 0
    read(13, "\0\1\0\0\0\24\1\0\0\4\0@EBDTg(\356\322\0\0\1L\0%\257:EBLC"..., 4096) = 4096
    old_mmap(NULL, 790528, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0xb7ee4000
Does this mean the error is coming from ALBANWTJ.ttf? In the note, it's a 'ttc' file.
Or I am looking at the wrong place and the error is actually something else?
    Thank you,
    Felix

  • Dbx : terminated by signal SEGV (no mapping at the fault address)

    hi everyone
when I use dbx to analyze a core
it shows : terminated by signal SEGV (no mapping at the fault address)
but how to directly show the value of fault address ?
I know that it can be calculated by $pc , but is there any direct way?
is there any dbx subcommand or solaris command to do this ?
    Thanks.
