Join different movies together?

I have several short movies, that I made in iMovie. When I use iDVD to burn them to a disc, the DVD-player stops playing after each movie. I'd like to use this for projections during concerts, so I need the whole thing to be continuous, I need to join the different movies together i.o.w. They should actually be no more than chapters of the same movie.
Is there any way to do this in iDVD, or does that have to be done iMovies then?
If not this, is there a way to get a "play all" function installed?

iDVD doesn't support a 'play all' feature.
Combine all the short movies together in iMovie HD and create chapter marks at the start of each movie (but not at the start of the movie). (iDVD HD is probably in a 'Previous iDVD version' (or something like that) folder in your Applications folder.)
You can do it with iMovie '08 but that approach requires to go to GarageBand to add chapter marks.
This way you will be able to play the entire movie from the beginning or start at any of the chapter marks if you so desire.

Post this question to a Roxio Toast Support Forum. They might be able to help you. iDVD will not help you in this particular situation. Nor will iDVD burn anything to a CD (only DVD's). Hope this is helpful and good luck.

Joining Different Tables Together

In SQl I am trying to get this output with a sample filling:

The tables containing the information are:

I was wondering if this pseudo code will work and if so what
statements will I need. If this won't work, I was wondering how to get the sampel output table.

Linking different parameters together

Hi,
I would like to link different parameters together. Like the rotationX of one layer controls the translationY of another layer. How can I do this?
Can I some how script it? (is it actually possible to script in motion at all? Are there tutorials for scripting in motion?)
Or can I create my own behavior for my problem? I wasn't really able to costumize it the way I wanted with this "apply to" field that is in some of the behaviors.Is there a trick to it?

Yes it would be nice to have some after effects style simple expressions for linking things together. But, the Apple way is more based around simply duplicating behaviors, ie setup a behavior (say a motion path) on one layer, and copy that to another layer. Otherwise copy keyframes, or do things with match moves....

I want to join 3GPP clips together, will Quicktime Pro do that?

I have the Droid and I took some amazing videos at a concert. They are in great quality and I would like to join the clips together to make one longer video. I tried using iMovie, but it doesn't support 3GPP format. I tried converting the files to a format supported by iMovie, but the quality was extremely diminished. Now, I'm looking for software that supports 3GPP files and will let me join clips together. Does Quicktime Pro do this?

Try just changing files extensions to .mov, then edit in iMovie or Quicktime.

Different movement types in MM documents in SSR

Hello,
How can I use different movement types in logistic documents for meter readings?
I set up additional meter event for own consumption and I need to get logistic document with other movement type (as standard we running creating logistic document types an 251/252 movement types for fuel sales).
To realize at least those two types of sales wehave only two possibilities in the system:
1. Setup separate processing profile for location for purpose of own consumption.
The stop over point is only one processing profile can be assigned to the location at once.
2. Setup a new process with new movement type.
The stop over point - restriction in the customizing - only one main process can be used for posting based on meter readings (error message OQ_C601 "More than one entry selected as main MM process for location indicator 01").
How can I solve this issue?

TS1424 i have purchased 2 different movies of itunes but i could not down load them straight away as my wifi was down but now i cantfind them to download. The money has already been taken from my account.

When I use my remote to start a movie on iTV it starts a different movie on my MacBook, plus if I use the arrow up or down on my remote it adjusts the sound on my MacBook. How do I stop this?

I am using 2nd generation Apple TV and have a MacBook Pro. When I use my remote to start a movie on iTV a different movie starts on my MacBook. Also when I use the up and down arrows on the remote it adjusts the sound on my MacBook. Is this something I have to live with, or is there something I can do so the remote control doesn't affect my laptop?

How to make a circle and a line ending (at the centre of the circle) lock and move together?

I'm new to Illustrator and perhaps it's not the best software of CS6 Master for doing this, but:
I have a few (13) circles, they are connected with lines (one line from the centre of a circle to the centre of the next one, so 13 connecting lines). I need to move the circles around in order to create the appearance that suits me best, but I want the connecting ending to move together (see picture below). I need to do this often and get an immediate visual feedback. How do I do it? Am I using the wrong software altogether?

Here's a way of doing it with the Appearance panel and multiple fills converted to an ellipse.
1 You create your path with all the segmentts you require can be an open or closed path.
2. Convert the fill only to an Ellipse. Effect>Convert to Shape>Ellipse (use the Absolute option and give it the dimension you want the circle to be) (cn cahnge this at anytime in the future as well as the color of the circles)
3. Using the Effect>Distort and Transform>Transform move the circle fill to a position corresponding to an anchor of the path as to position the circle with the nchor as the center.
4. In the Appearance panel Option (Alt) drag the fill with the convert to ellipse and the transform down or up to duplicate it, or se the flyout of the Appearance panel to duplicte the fill.
(do this for each circle you need) You will only have to adjust the transformation vertical and horizontal positions, Bith effects will be duplicated when you copy the fill so you only adjust the transformeffecct that is already associated with the fill.

I am creating a program that is going to help students learn to read. In my project are pages of text with each word having a button that when pressed will display a movieclip presentation about that word (its pronounciation and spelling etc..). In the project I am working on now I have over 450 unique presentations of words to deal with. I don't want to have all of these hundreds of movie clips on the stage and tell them one at a time to stop and rewind and then have one play each time a word button is pressed. That seems to be very inefficient to me. So I want to do this with some code in Actionscript 3.
I know I can dynamically add movieclips to the stage using addChild(movieclipname) and remove them using removeChild(movieclipname) but there is a problem. I have hundreds of unique movieclips and I don't want to have to manage hundreds of variables containing the indivudual movieclip instancess. It is a real pain having to figure out what instance is still on the stage before i delete it.
In Adobe Director all I have to do is this:
on mousedown me
     sprite(me.spritenum).member = member("somenewmember:)
end
and that was it
But if I do this in actionscript 3:
removeChild(some_mc)
some_mc still exists in memory. And I have to know exactly what variable it is to remove or else the movie will fail with an error. If I try to be brutish about it and try to implicitly remove all 450 movieclip instance variables from the stage I will get at least 449 errors.
What I want to do is this:
removeChild(some_mc)
some_mc = void //or //delete some_mc
var some_mc:MovieClip = new someother_mc();
addChild(some_mc)
but this doesn't work
How am I going to remove one of 450 movie clips and add a new totally different movie clip without the code knowing exactly what the last movie clip was? I suppose if could remove a child from the stage based on a string name then I could hold that name in a variable for later disposal.Can I do this?

Linked video and audio do not move together on timeline

Hello, I have been working in a project for a couple of days and cannot find out why the video and audio do not move together when one of them is dragged laterally on the timeline. They are linked yet do not move together. I seem to remember one of the first clips I dragged down to the timeline did what it should but they do not behave as they should. If I click on both clips the only option is unlink. When I move one part in the timeline it shows me how much they are out of sync.Any ideas?
