  • "Please Enable Java" error when attempting to join GoToMeeting webinar in Firefox 4.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4 I'm unable to join GoToMeeting webinars, such as
    https://www2.gotomeeting.com/join/298237491/106133365
I receive a "Please Enable Java" error, see this URL for an example: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/island/joinError?e=JavaDisabled
I double-checked and Java is enabled and updated to latest version. I also tested it on javatester.org with success.
These types of webinar still function appropriately in Firefox 3.6.

    Thank you, nganju, for helping.
I did the Explorer search on *.jar files with this phrase in the file:
    OracleConnectionPoolDataSource
There were no results to display. I searched both the computer which is working and one that doesn't.
I used printStackTrace() to get more error message. Is there a way to print the error msg to a file so I can paste it here? Among other things, it said the following:
    com.sun.naming.internal.VersionHelper12.loadClass(VersionHelper12...
    javax.naming.spi.NamingManager.getInitialContext(NamingManger...
Does any of this help you? I have no idea what to do next except call for help.
    Help! : )

  • My wife's i-pad 3 was just downloaded with iOS6 and we're unable to join our wifi network at home.  Can anyone help?

My wife's i-pad 3 was just downloaded with the latest iOS6 and she's now unable to join our wifi network at home.  Can anyone help?

    Some things to try first:
    1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
    5.  Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
        •    Launch Settings app
        •    Tap on Wi-Fi
        •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
        •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

  • AIR-CAP3702I booting up in mesh mode and not joining our 5508 WLC

I have a batch of 30+ AIR-CAP3702I-A-K9 APs that I need to setup but none of them are joining to the 5508 WLC and when I connect a console cable and view the output from the AP it shows that it is trying to initiate in mesh mode. I have read other forums that are showing that I need to put in the APs MAC address to a filter list on the WLC for it to show up and then I will be able to change it from mesh mode to local mode. The only issue I'm having with that solution is not knowing how it will affect my current production environment off of that 5508 WLC. I have 69 active production APs with clients working off them and there are no MAC filters currently in place on the WLC. By adding a MAC filter entry for the new APs would the WLC create an implicit deny for all other clients that don't have their MAC addresses entered?? If so is there another work around? Can the mode be changed via the CLI on the AP itself to make it local instead of mesh?

  • Record Separate Audio to our webinar, then use that in final - Sync Problem

    Hi,
We do Gotowebinar Webinars and I have been recording the audio separately because the quality is much better.
Problem is when I drop it in to final cut, it doesn't stay in sync. I have tried the adjust the speed of the audio and can get it when it starts in sync and ends in sync, but the middle is all over the place.
Anybody got any ideas. I'm recording the audio on my mac coming right out of our mixing board.
The webinars are always an hour long.
    Thanks
    Rich

Run the audio out of the mixing board back to the camera.
I run 3 channels into the mixer and 2 out to the cam.
Channel 1 - lav mic on speaker
Channel 2 - short shotgun aimed at speaker (in case the lav fails and it also add nice depth)
Channel 3 - longer shotgun aimed at audience to pick up questions
Someone runs the board to adjust 2 & 3 as appropriate.
Channel 1 goes into the camera as Left
Channels 2 & 3 are mixed and go in as Right
Capture as dual mono. It's all in sync.
As an added twist - I'll run a lead out to a computer and capture live. If I have a hiccup, I can go back to the camera media. Otherwise I'm ready to edit the minute the talk is over.

  • AP not joining our vWLC

    Hello,
We're currently using a new Virtual WLC and we have over 45 AP's connected to it without any issues.  Recently, one of our AP's started having issues joining the controller and I'm not sure why not.  On the controller it says...

I tried changing the AP time to match the WLC but that didn't work although I'll admit that I'm a little confused about UTC vs EST.
I also tried to reload but that didn't help.
I tried modifying the WLC "AP Policies" to "Accept Self Signed Certificate (SSC)" but that didn't work either
Any ideas?  I won't be able to easily reset the AP since I will require a SkyJack to reach it so I'm looking for alternate options.  I'm able to Telnet or SSH to the device so I can run whatever required commands.
    Thanks.

I assume you have tried to factory reset the AP already, if not, try it. Also, try the following commands 'test capwap erase' 'test capwap restart'

  • Can't Join our 5GHz Network

    Hello,
This morning my iPhone 5 could not join a home 5Ghz network.  Previous to this morning there were no issues joining the network although it seemed to default to the 2.4GHZ network we have.  We have an Airport Extreme Base station that is about four years old and it has a dual band radio.  We therefore have a 2.4 and a 5.0 GHz network.
I believe the problem is in my iPhone because.
My wife's iPhone5, her iPad3, and my iPad 4 can join this network.
Running Airport utility from my iMac it reports "excellent" connections to the base station and four airport express devices.
I tried a reset of the iPhone by turning it off (swipe the red arrow).  I also tried a hard reset (hold down the on/off button and the home button until the screen goes black).  Neither of those resets helped.
The iPhone will readily join the 2.4 GHz network then continue to search for our other network.  When it finds the 5GHz network and I choose it, I get a spinning gear and nothing happens.  Occasionally it will ask for a password and sometimes it will report that it is unable to joinn the 5GHz network.
The iPhone is running IOS 6.1.3 as are our other devices.  I recently added Apple's two factor authentication but can't imagine how that would interfere with the WiFi function.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Your thoughts and advice are gratefully accepted.
    Cheers,
    Jay

What worked for me was a fix I found on a somewhat similar thread for the iPhone 4S.  Settings>5GHz Network>Proxxy.  I turned it from off to auto.  The next time I tried to access this network it asked for my password but then connected.  We'll see if this is a consistent fix.

  • SG300 Centralised Management

How would you manage, say, 50 SG300 switches?  Assuming the whole network will consist of various sizes - 8/16/24/48-ports, with/without POE - but all of them are of the SG300 series.
Is there something like Cisco Prime which can manage (not just monitor) these switches centrally?  I'm thinking:VLAN add/remove/change from all switchesVLAN port configuration, with uplink port verificationCentral SYSLOG collectionFirmware upgrade & verificationConfiguration backupsTemplate configuration management for Security services, Multicast configs, etc.

Hi ZypKode, I couldn't help but reply to your post: Back before Win 95 I was using Digigram's Xtrack audio editor. It didn't run on Win 3.x because that OS wasn't capable enough. Win 95 just managed that when it came out. I looked at Cool Edit Pro around that time, and it was Ok. But for my work which was a lot of interview recording/editing plus radio programme recording in 4 track (2 tracks for voicing, 1 stereo track for music) Xtrack was way out ahead, in terms of multitrack capability but especially speed of work. Even the waveform display had several options apart from the standard full-wave that every editor, even today uses (Audacity offers a dB display which is better, but nothing like the old Xtrack offering). The option I always used was a half-wave display with just the outline, and it was logarithmic rather than linear. Result was that, without resorting to zooming in and out, you could see the noise floor, see the detail of the person's breath and lip-smack. With a little experience you could do most voice edits just by looking without even listening – which, of course, you did afterward, just to make sure :-)  Producers used to look at me as if I was a magician when doing the edits like that.  If Audition one day offered that as a waveform option, they could put it forward as a revolutionary new experience, since Digigram, better known for their high end audio hardware, dropped Xtrack a few years ago, being too small a company to compete with the big players.

  • Participant cannot join webinar, receives "webinar has ended message" while the webinar is indeed in session.

A participant tried to join a webinar while it was still in session via the Event Login Link.  They received a message "webinar has ended" (or something similar) when trying to join with the email address they registered with.  The webinar was still in session, so I'm not sure what was going on??  Anyone else have this issue?

This happened to one of my users but they were using the wrong link.  Is there any chance they would have had links to two different meetings and mistakenly used the wrong one?
