Help! suddenly, I have to join apps in order to print PDF's wirelessly from adobe. Does joining I cloud , I tunes, cause all these problems? I am in a network, just for my self and my husband to print wirelessly from HP 4620 series printer. Should I just discontinue the network connection for printing?

Perhaps the reason that your username and password are not recognised is because you have caps lock on.

When you installed Pages v5, it automatically moved the older Pages ’09 v4.3 into /Applications/iWork '09 folder. If you want normal comment interoperability, you are advised to resume using the older version of Pages. Newer, is certainly not better with Pages v5.

I download Yosemite a few weeks ago and now I cannot print documents on Mac Word, Excel, and Power Point. I attempted to reinstall the software and it still doesn't allow me to print documents. Below you will see the error messages I get when I try to print. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Update MS Office suite to be the most up-to-date version and also run Software Update to see if there are updated printer drivers for your printer.

If you downloaded it on the iPad - look in the Music App. Tap on the More button at the bottom of the app and see if it shows up in there.
Or search for it in the Spotlight Search. Swipe to the right from the home screen to get to the search feature.
You can download it again for free if you are using the same Apple ID that you bought it with.

Thanks for the replies guys. Epson put me through a complex set of instructions to install an earlier driver. The problem was not solved. Apple also tried to solve the provlem by getting rid of the printer, unplugging it etc and then re starting and checking computer/printer communication by printing a test page from the system preferences/Pring & Fax options. This worked proving the the computer and printer are talking to each other.
The printer works properly as a stand alone unit. That is, I can copy and print and scan and print with no problems.
The Apple support guy didn't suggest any Apple alternative drivers so I assume there aren't any.
Neither the Epson nor Apple assistants seemed interested in the printer generated error message. I would have thought it would at least provide a clue to the problem to someone with technical expertise.
It seems that there are a lot of problems with the 10.6.8 update so maybe Apple will get to work and bring it up to scratch. I hope it gets things right soon.

I upgraded to Firefox4 and now I cannot print statements from the Telus or CIBC websites (both worked fine in version 3.6). They are both pop-ups that used Adobe Acrobat to display. The box pops up be remains blank. Any suggestions?

I have downgraded to 3.6 and both work again, so the problem is definitely related to version 4.
IETab2 will work for the Telus site, but not for the CIBC site and neither works with Roboform.

Gosh, this is full of great information and I need something a little bit deeper - and because I'm not a techy - can I explain...Apple ID changed a year ago from a work email to a personal email. No longer have access to original email..... New email and Apple ID worked flawlessly until today - every 3 seconds Sign in to iCloud pops up.. with the old work email. I enter the password - which is the same... and it says invalid.
I tried to delete the icloud, but you need the password and it says "find my phone" is on... i turn it off, and it's the old email... and the password again doesn't work, of course.
I am left stratching my head... I sync my phone and my correct, up to date email is in the Apple ID sections...

What happened is that version 1.0 of the security update was available for a bit of time this weekend, and that disabled Rosetta. Version 1.1 brought it back.

If I go to icloud.com on Safari on the ipad, it takes me to a instruction page which only says to complete icloud in Settings.

That's happening because icloud.com is not designed to be viewed from the mobile version of Safari on your iPad, only from your computer browser.* You can still access it on your iPad if you're running iOS 8 by going to icloud.com, then tapping on the address bar where the url is displayed, tap the center of the screen and drag down, then tap "Request Desktop Site" under the address bar at the top. This will load the full desktop version of icloud.com. You'll find, however, that not all of the the features will respond to the touch screen.

The appearance of the printer in the Default view of the Add printer window relies on a protocol called Bonjour. There have been quite a few users who upgraded to Yosemite only to find that their wifi printer is no longer visible. Until Apple resolves this issue you can add your printer using the LPD protocol. To do so you will need to determine the IP address being used by the MX890. This can be done via the touch panel under Device Settings > Network Settings.
Once you learn the IP address then on the Mac you can click to add the printer and select the IP icon. Here you can enter the IP address, set the Protocol to Line Printer Deamon and leave the Queue field blank. Then change the name to Canon MX890 and in the Use menu, browse for the Canon MX890 series driver. Then click Add to complete the printer creation.
