JOptionPane Problem, pls reply

Hi, I am having a problem with JOptionPane that I have noticed other people have had but I could not find a solution. Here it is:
When I use a Showconfirmdialog. It works fine in the develop. environment buts has a bug when I view it in a browser. About 20% of the time, it cuts off the last two letters and replaces them with ... If I stretch the box out the message displays as it should.
Here is my code:

the best way should be to "pack()" the dialog, but as you can't access thatdialog instance...
I suggest you use html tags :
simply change your String :
"Changes have been made. Would you like to save?"
by
"<html>Changes have been made. <br>Would you like to save?</html>"the <br> tag indicates a lineBreak
moreover, you could use the tagts to display some parts of the string as bold or itaic of in colours...

Urgent: Sessions problem pls help me

Hi all,
Its already late to post this problem.pls help me urgently.
I have a servlet & two jsp's. first i request servlet, it processes something and forwards request to my first jsp. In that jsp on a button click, i'm displaying a new popup by calling showModalDialog. this dialog gets data from the same servlet but it forwards to my second jsp.(second jsp can be seen in dialog)
Now if i submit form from my second(dialog) jsp, the servlet reports that session has expired. I tried a lot but invain. any one who helps me is appreciated well by all of our forum.

It could be that you have cookies turned off and you're not using URL Rewriting.
In J2EE, the first time your browser makes a request to the server, the server responds and appends a SESSION_ID parameter to the request as well as storing a cookie with the SESSION_ID.
The second time your browser makes a request, the server checks for the cookie. If it doesn't exist it checks for the parameter. If neither exist the server assumes its the first time your browser has made a request and behaves as describe in the previous paragraph.
In your case when you submit the form if you have disabled cookies and the action attribute doesn't have the SESSION_ID paramter appended to the url, the browser will assume it's a first request. The user will not be logged in, hence your session has expired error.
To fix this you need to encode the URL in your JSP. You can use the struts html:rewrite tag or the HttpServletReponse.encodeURL method, or if you're using JSP 2.0 the JSTL c:url tag.

E5 problem pls help

Hi I recently bought nokia e5 & iys really good better than i expected it to be everything works fine except, i problem i want to know if it supports GIF wallpapers i tried installing it but it does not move so if n1 knows how i can enable GIF wallpapers in nokia e5 it will be really helpful.......

Boot problem == pls HELP

I have use the utility disk and format the machintos drive , and use Extended (Journaled , Encrypted) , it ask me for a password (typed the password, confirmed the password - done) , after that i tried to install a fresh copy of Lion (i waited to be downloded from apple.com - done) after that it said that the fresh copy it will be installed and it will reboot by itself -> done ... from here the problem it's starting .... now my macbook air , it dosent start anymore it keep showming me, instaid of the apple sign from the start , a sign like the one from ghost busters (but without the ghost in it ) , i have tried to boot from cd , from usb , nothing dosent seams to be working.
If anyone know a solution to this problem, pls HELP! Thank you in advance...
p.s. before i had 2 hard drives that show up when i press the ALT button (machintos hd and utility drive, or something like that) now.. the only thing that it's showing me is : mac os base system , and if i try to use partition magic or something else, from a usb, it will tell me something about a bootguard , but i don't know how to insert the password.

I had the same probelm and found that the problem lies with 64bit programs such as safari and microsoft internet explorer. I have resolved the issue on my PC based server by using a 32 bit ie and same on my mac by using the same running windows under parallels.
So far the problem with the 64 bit side of it is still to be resolved.
Hope this helps and gets you guys up and running until suchtime a 64 bit solution is found.

this field is used to identify the latest record for the infotypes which can have overlapping records at a time.(TC - 3)
like for the IT 0001 u can find out the lates record via begda and endda but for the overlap allowed infotype like IT0022 u need this SEQNR field too as a key field along with begda and endda.

Calling a WDA on a field's F4 help.. pls reply

I have a WDA1, with a table of item list. coloumns -- item no: product no: status:
I need to give a F4 input help for product no: .. it should call a other WDA2(this is for product search. I already did this).
so once product F4 button is hit, it shoudl call my WDA2 as a popup.... and there the product search list table, if i click one record and hit chooose button.. that product selected in WDA2, should
transfer to my WDA1's product no coloumn?
how to call a wda on F4 input help? how to pass values back to my field...?
also before the product comes to my WDA1, i need some validations to figure out the status(coloumn 3)...?

And then take a look to the demo value help component that you can find in the system. I cannot now remember the name of this demo component, but you should find it by looking components using component interface IWD_VALUE_HELP (or searching components in SE80 with "WDvaluehelp" or something like that). You should get the idea quite easilly with this demo component provided by SAP.

FindClass() Problem Pls Help.. (URGENT!!)

I trying to use the files from the book "JNI Programmer's Guide & Specifications" - Ch. 7., to create JVM & call a java method from c routine.
I m working on Solaris machine. JVM is 1.1, so the correct part of the version independent code runs (refer to invoke.c below)
LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set correctly. invoke.c is complied correctly with no errors. All the files namely Prog.java, Prog.class, invoke.c, a.out are in the same directoy "/home/top/atm".
When executable file is run. JVM is created. But FindClass() returns with NULL value. !!!
When I try to run Prog.java from the commandline using "java Prog Hello" it runs good.
It just simply won't find the Prog.class in it's current directory. ???
If instead, "java/util/Date" is passed to FindClass(), it finds it.
The classpath in the program is also modified & there is no typo error or case-sensitivity related errors.
I m also printing classpath passed to JVM in the program. It has my included path "/home/top/atm", along with other system classpath(s).
I m banging my head over this problem, since 2 days. Hence I tried to use reference implementation files. It still will not work..
Can anyone pls be patient & help me. I'll really appreciate this.

Hi , I got the exact same problem as you did. Can you
please let me know if you solve this issue already ?When FindClass returns null it means it threw an exception. The first step is to get that exception and print it out.
The error is probably class not found. And just as with java only that means your class path is not correct.

Problem with Replying, Relaying or Forwarding E-mails with Attachments

This just started happening recently. I don't recall exactly when. Best guess is within the last week or so.
When I try to reply to, relay or forward an e-mail (in Mail.app) that has an attachment, only the attachment shows up in the new e-mail edit window. All the text from the original email gets wiped out. It's as if I had highlighted the attachment. I've made sure, not to.
But, it get weirder... If I do highlight the original text, it does show up in the new e-mail (minus the attachment). Further, mail won't let me highlight both the text and the attachment. Just one or the other. And, it won't let me highlight any previous indented email trails at all (as it will for emails that don't have attachments).
This is not only annoying, but darn strange!
Everything is at the latest update levels. Nothing else has been acting strangely that I've noticed.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Problem in Replying to Email

I have a pay as you go account
When I receive emails and attempt to reply I often get the following message:
"Cannot verify server identity
Details: Local Host – not trusted
Country Name: GB
State or Province name: Someprovince
Locality Name: sometown"
How do I deal with this?

I have similar problems when I try and forward an email with a .jpg attachment. No-one receiving that forward can read the .jpg as it is distorted.
One other problem i have is sometimes when i reply to an email received, the PC user receiving the email receives a mail just containing wingdings and other symbols instead of my text.]A further problem is that sometimes I get an email from a PC user and the body of the email is blank - no text can be seen. If I forward it to a PC I still cannot see the text, but if I receive the original mail on a PC it is fine and the text is all there. So the Mac (Mail) must be wiping out the text?
Any ideas on what settings I need to change?

1.i have a toolbar in the alv output,,,but according to my client requirement ,i have to add 4 more standard functions to the toolbar...how can we achieve this?
2.I need to download the alv output in Excel format..there is a standard function in the toolbar where we can download....but now the problem is while downloading the alv output to the excel sheet , the first column/field in the alv output is coming in the last in the excel sheet.....that means second column in the alv output is coming as first colum in th excel sheet..which is not meeting the requirement

Problems with replying to messages 6210 navigator

I have the 6210 navigator and when I reply to messages that are in my inbox and then press send (no i do not save them I send them) They - at random - go into my drafts box. Its very frustrating as I think I have replied to my messages and then figure out after a few days that half my messages aren't going. This has happened since I go the phone.
This has never happened on any other phone and no one in customer care has a clue? Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Are you always in area with sufficient network coverage like a subway or in a forest or..... when you send? In fact the answer is very easy: just check if the message is sent.

Problem While replying through Outlook 2007

Hi friends
I have problem when some one sends email I read email on both MS Outlook 2007 and on device afterwards when I make reply to the message from outlook I receive the same original message(the message which was send by another user and not the message which I replied) again in BB 8900 as new message and unread. It doesn't matter even if I have received Email message before 1 week 2 week or 1 month if I reply the message with current date I received the same message again in BB with the original date on which it was send. Email account is configure on exchange 2007 and their is no BES software installed or managed by any other BB software.

Interestingly I turned off time zone support and it didn't affect these appointments.
I have a 12pm appointment that was assigned from someone in CT which would have been 2pm their time. It shows as 7am on my iPhone and 12pm in Outlook.
I have a 12:30pm appointment that was assigned from CT and strangely the cancellation shows up as a new appointment at 7:30am (can't tell it is a cancellation) in the iPhone but the original appointment is also there correctly as 12:30pm.
This is very odd and very confusing.

Migration problem - cannot REPLY / still showing o...

I've just been migrated - it went very smoothly - well done at that stage.
I then opened my In-Box and found two problems:
1. Major problem - When I click on Reply it creates a new email from me to the sender and shows sender's email (all as before) but it won't let me enter my reply. The mouse marker doesn't show. SOS please!
2. Minor problem - I've changed my email address in an attempt to get away from the 20/30 daily spam emails. I've changed from (1st name).(surname)@btinternet.com to "aaaa.nnn@" etc but when I enter my mailbox, it still says "Hello, old email address". Only a niggle - will it go away by itself?

I've probably caused the problem and have made it worse!
I got the Welcome email from BTMail and opened my inbox. At the top were two urgent emails both needing urgent reply. I replied to the first one but when I tried to reply to the second one I got the problem outlined above so I closed it down and posted here.
I've just tried to go back in again but I'm locked out because I forgot to click on the link in my first Welcome email to confirm my email address!
It's telling me that I can't enter my In Box until I click on the link but I can't do that because I can't get in to my In Box to see the blasted thing!!
I tried asking for another email but it still won't let me in. I will not change my email address again so have I an alternative?
PS Presumably the fact that I didn't click on the link has stopped me from replying for a second time - i.e. the system is programmed to allow one reply (to the link).
PPS There's a copy of the Welcome email in my old name inbox but there's no link shown.

Import problem,pls help!

All that import does is to run a bunch of SQL statements based on the content of the export file. If you look at the export file in an editor (if its small), or through type (on Windoze) or more on *NIX you will see stuff like:
CREATE TABLE x STORAGE ( ...)
INSERT INTO x col12,col2, ...
VALUES (:b1,:b2, ...
If you give imp the paramter ignore=Y, then the error generated by the CREATE TABLE (table already exists) will be suppressed, but the ata will be inserted. Note that there are no DROP TABLE or TRUNCATE TABLE commands in the export file.
If you want to restore your database to a particular point in time using import, then you will need to manually drop or truncate the tables first. You can generate the required sql from the data dictionary. something like
