Journal Batch Workflow - Super user
Hi,
We have recently implemented Journal Batch (Internal name - GLBATCH) workflow for Journal approval before posting. We would like to setup a super user, who can approve all the Journal Batch Notifications. We thought of providing Workflow Administrator responsibility, but that will give access to all the workflows. We need to give access to view/approve only Journal Batch notification.
Please let me know if there is any way to achieve this.

URGENT: Journal Batch Workflow Issue
Hi All,
I am facing issue with Journal Batch Workflow. There is function called "Find Approver",when we go for Approve the Journal then it returns "NO Approver Find".But when sysadmin reassign to requestor and requestor response as "Problem Fixed" then it Find Approver and it also went to next Approver. I tried to debug the Workflow, basically two tables are used in Find Approver function "GL_HR_EMPLOYEES_CURRENT_V & wf_users" ,both table has the record for requestor and next approver.
Please help on this.

URGENT: Workflow Journal Batch is cancelled ,but record is in "IN PROCESS"
Hi Gurus,
I am facing issue with "Journal Batch" workflow notification with Find apprrover node. I just cancelled the workflow and trying with another journal entry, even workflow status is cancelled ,but journal record at journal form still showing "IN Process" status. I need this record as cancelled at form also, Am I missing some steps or I have to delete this record by API? Please help.

I am also facing the same issue. But i was wondering why was the journal in canceled status in the first place. Is it being done automatically by the workflow or does the user go and cancel it?
We do a datafix on those records to fix it. We change the status to 'R' as stated above and then the user can open the journal, unreserve the funds and then delete it. -
Budget Journal Approval Workflow
I am trying to use the seeded Journal Approval workflow for budget journals. I know that this workflow works by journal batch - that is, each batch is sent into a different workflow approval process.
Now, my users create budget journals that hit different periods, and each of these journals is being created as a different batch. However, I need these journals to go into one single approval, not one approval for each batch. Is there any way to do this?
ThanksYou need to make sure you read the documentation provided by the GL team on this workflow to make sure the changes you make to the workflow are allowable. Also make sure you read the section on Oracle Support Policy for Predefined Workflows, Events, and Subscriptions in the Workflow Guide.
Technically speaking, you could have a master approval workflow, which is run, and when complete after all approvals have gone through, issues a complete activity command to the individual journal batch workflows to complete them.

Cannot Approve Journal Batch (Button grayed out in More Actions screen)
Cannot Approve Journal Batch (Button grayed out in More Actions screen)
The Journal Batch Approval notification goes to one or more approvers but when any approver opens the journal and tries to approve, the approve batch button is greyed out and nobody can approve the Journal batch. The approver has every authority amount and other wise.
Any idea what might be wrong? Do I need to setup something in Preference pages etc.,?

[email protected]Are you looking at the Workflow Notifications page or GL page. Please give me the navigation used to reach the page. Typically in workflow notification details page, the Response buttons are either displayed or hidden based on whether the notification has a Result Type attached or not. I don't think they are greyed out based on any rule.
Workflow notifications does not check the approval authority by itself. Ann appropriate workflow notification with right content and result type should be sent based on the approval authority checked in a previous function activity.

I'm preparing a Journal batch for approval. Now after preparing, i am supposed to click on the Approve Batch button but it is disabled/greyed out. So we can't run the approval process(workflow).
What might be the problem? Has anyone had a similar problem?

When we go Maintenance Super User > Work Order > Print work order >Layout , In Template layout we find only one LOV called Maintenance report.
We like to where this this Template LOV storing and Run button code where it's storing

You could temporarly adjust the CUNI definition for TST so that it can be converted to seconds. Adjust the notifications to set a valid unit of measure.
The alternative would be to update the field MAUEH in table QMIH with a valid breakdown unit of measure.

Can anyone please advise how to remove the Administrator / Super User menu that appears when you right click the Windows Icon (old start button) in Server 2012 R2 - for RDS users. I have searched and been able to disable access to each of these menu items (Control
Panel, Event Viewer, Run, etc). But I am searching for a way to completely remove the menu. This menu also appears when you use Win-X shortcut.

You can try following points, might helpful in your case. Go to
C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
there you will see file called WinX
Right click this file and copy then go to
C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows
then paste the file into the folder.
NOTE: replace YOUR_USERNAME with your actual username.

We have been compromised within our businesses from an empolyee that was terminated with GNU Emac Api enulation program that has infiltrated all of our brand new Apple Computers. We made a decision to move to Mac's this year because of all our businesses being internet based and we are in several different platforms that require many different passcodes, email address, bank accounts, etc. It is not one seamless system that would address one email, password, bank account, etc.
Eacy time we change one segment of our business unit to move to the next one to fix, we go back to check the previous one that we changed and they have already been in the accounts and changed them so that we have to redo them.
The information is so broad and wide that the only way I know to ask this first questions - has anyone had this happen to them? We have seeked many avenues with law, experts, reformating our 2 momth old systems 2-3 times each and start over. They are the super users of this program and we can not get them out by changing passwords, accounts, etc. They have everything we do and make sure they keep changing it as we work on the next segment. They have cost our small business thousands of dollars already.
I am a victim of something that even the local forenic authority is stumped because they don't know where to start. We are not a banking instutition or 100 million dollar company to get the help we need. We don't want to find hackers like they have done to us, we want to get them stopped and get us back on track to start getting our businesses rebuilt.

Apple Support today spent 3 hours with us on the phone and our suppot representative was awesome, but they also said it was big and we need to reach out to the Apple community to see if they heard of anything like this crime. They are in the URL's, RSS Feeds and ghosting everything we do.
I was told by our local Mac support that this was done by someone that was highly sophicated and they did not know many people that could do this type of damage. I can't image that someone in the Apple community would not know of someone that can assist. The one security company we contacted was around $25,000 to fix this aweful crime.
We just want them stopped and put in jail so we can go back to business before it destoys us completely. They even installed emacs on all of our Iphone and androids. WE are being taped, video recorded and eery key stroke is recored. They are only taking us down in middle America.

Hi,
I have a question on licensing required for the users who only have a 'Workflow user' responsibility in OEBS, version 11.5.10.2.
We'd like to start using iExpenses, but currently lots of potential approvers do not have any access in OEBS, I wonder how much it could cost us to create them in the system as a workflow-only users. Any references to Oracle's pricing policy on the subject are welcome.

Hello Friends,
I created company with super user and normal user, for a normal user gave the rights of sales. When logged in with normal user try to create sales order i am experiencing following system message "To generate this document, first define the numbering series in Administration module [Message 131-3]".

Solution
A document numbering series have been defined and the user have authorisation to the document type in:
Administration -> System Initialisation -> General Authorisations -> Sales-AR/Purchasing-AP
All document numbering series are also given a Group.
Administration -> System Initialisation -> Document Numbering
Double click to the left of the row to view the existing numbering
series for the document type. The field 'Group' is here. By default this value is 1.
For the Groups there is a separate authorisation.
Administration -> System Initialisation -> Authorisations -> General Authorisations -> Administration -> System Initialisation -> Series
After expanding the 'Series', give the user authorisation to the
Serie/Group that is defined for the document numbering serie it is trying to open.

My client recently encounter the License was allocated from a particular user id by an super user, resulting the end user unable to perform transaction when log onto SAP B1 8.8 PL19.
Is there any way which we can trace and control which super user edit the License Administration and allocated the license to other user?

1. Login through manager then Go To Administrator--> System Initialization--> Authorization--> Additional Authorization Creator
2. Additional Authorization Creator screen appear.
3. Select any content on right side screen and click on Add Same Level button
4. Authorization ID : Give any Name
5. Name : Give any Name
6. Option : Full/None
7. Forms ID : Click on Edit Button --> Enter ID for License Administrator 60070.
8. Click Update and Ok.
9. Go To Authorization--> General Authorizations--> Select User in which you have block Graph--> User Authorization
here select No Authorization.
Just untick supper user check box of other user and give rights

아래와 같이 Bug3913769를 참고하여 batch와 header의 name column size를 변경하는 하는 것은 violation 문제가 없다고 하였습니다.
For the name columns in gl_je_batches, gl_je_headers you can change the size of name column using sql*plus.This will not cause any violation in relational integrity.

If you are doing any customization to out of the box ETL job then you will do that in custom folders such as custom_sde or custom_sil. Now your modified etl job is in a new Informatica folder in order for this new etl job to run by DAC you need to create a new folder in DAC with the same name as in informatica and associate it with corresponding informatica folder.
Please refer to the DAC Guide Section 5 for more step by step information !!

Journal Batch means it contains batch name, description, status, running total debits and credits, and other information.
Journal Headers means it contains batch ID, the journal entry name
and description, and other information about the journal entry.
Journal Lines means it contains journal entry header ID, the line number, the associated code combination ID, and the debits or credits associated with the journal line.
So here is the replationships.
Batch--- 1 to many -- Headers
Headers -- 1 to many -- Lines.
