Jpeg 1024 x 768

How do I change a pic to jpeg 1024 x 768?  The pic was already jpeg

If the photo is not already in an aspect ratio of 1024x768 (which is also the same as a 4x3 aspect ratio), then you must first crop the photo to a 4x3 aspect ratio.
Then, use File->Export and set the Image Sizing to have width of 1024 and height of 768.

  • 1024 X 768 resolution...alright already.

My screen resolution IS set at 1024 X 768 - why do I keep getting an error message that says I should change it to the best optimal viewing resolution of 1024 X 768?

    Bill,
What is your interest or need for 1024x768? Is it because that's the size of your original images? Is that the size you want to output? If the latter, why that size - for example, are you thinking you need that size to fill the screen when you show the photos?
iPhoto, iMovie, FCE and iDVD can ALL do slideshows of your photos and include a music track. They accept 1024x768 original images. All except iDVD can output a QuickTime file of your finished slideshow, including the music. The video apps will adjust the size of your photos to fit standard DV 4:3 720x480 (or possibly HD dimensions of 1280x720 or 1920x1080 if you work in HD) - but sizing in the video realm is not the same as sizing in the digital photo realm. If your concern is image quality, regular DV 720x480 will give you a very nice quality image on your screen.
iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD can also automatically adjust the onscreen time of each photo so that the complete slideshow matches the length of the music track.
Is that what you were looking for?
Note: I just read your following post and realized you are in the UK, the DV pixel sizes I mentioned above are NTSC, not PAL.

  • Presentation Director allows only max 1024 x 768

    Hi,
I have a T42 and recently purchased a 22" LCD monitor to connect through my dock station. When I dock my thinkpad I can only see in 1024*768 resolution and would like to configure it to 1280*1024. When I do it manually and undock the Thinkpad its LCD remains in 1280*1024 and to restore it to 1024*768 It asks to reboot windows.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks.
    Juan

The Syncmaster 510 is a 15" LCD monitor and the highest resolution it supports is 1024 x 768. That is why you can't get it to go higher. You will need to upgrade to a larger monitor in order to have 1280 x 800 on the external monitor.

  • Best setting for 1024 x 768 output

    All-
I'm having a terrible time getting Premiere Pro to output my project at 1024 x 768.  Here's the scenerio.
I was given a Quicktime file that was exported from Camtasia at 1024 x 768.  When I import the quicktime file into Premiere Pro, the video settings are:
    VIDEO, 1024 X 768 (1.0)
    15 FPS
I've tried several attempts to export the file from PPro at 1024 x 768 but every attempt is blury.  Any ideas for correcting this problem?
    Cheers,
    `z

What codec was used to create the MOV file?
What sequence settings are you using?

  • Can you resize an existing 1024 x 768 presentation to 800 x 600?

    Can you resize an existing 1024 x 768 presentation to 800 x 600?

Open the Inspector (blue i in the menu bar) and click on the Document tab in the upper left. At the bottom you can select a slide size from the drop-down menu, or specify your own size by selecting Custom...
Everything you need is in the Inspector!

  • Message Note : "Resolution screen should be 1024 by 768 pixels"

    Kindly advice :
when processing transaction code ZSD1ALL01 in MySAP Upgrade version 6.0 of SAP, message appear "Resolution screen should be 1024 by 768 pixels". how do we maintain this setting?
    Thank you.

To change or check the settings for your screen resolution, please follow these steps:
    -  From your task bar at the bottom-left corner of your Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows XP computer, click once on "Start."
    -  Select "Settings."
    -  Select "Control Panel." A window should open up with the control panels for your operating system.
    -  Select "Display" and then "Settings" from the tab menu.
    -  Using your mouse, click down, hold, and slide the horizontal bar toward the right, where it reads, "More."
    -  Slide the bar until it reads "1024 by 768" or greater.
    -  It is recommended that you use a fairly high resolution setting that will allow you to use the most screen space possible, anything from 1024 by 768 to 1280 by 1084. Anything higher than this will probably make some things too small to read on your screen, although the degree of detail will be higher.

  • Games won't run above 1024 x 768 on Satellite P100-240

I have a Satellite P100-240 with geforce 7900gs 512mb graphics, running xpmc, games run fine however they will not run above 1024 x 768.
The native resolution is 1400 x 900 but the scaling feature does not seem to work. If i try to run anyhing above 1024 it eithers goes to a default value like 640x480 or the i can only see part of the image (like the rest if off screen) is there anything i can do?
My old P10 used to just scale image to fit the wide screen.

    Hi
To be honest I dont think that this is a notebook problem.
As far as I know the screen resolution can be changed in the games setup.
This fact applies to all games which I have played.
But there is no harm to try a graphic driver update.
You could try to use an nVidia driver from the www.laptopvideo2go.com site

  • Screen Resolution - want to go to 1280 x 1024 from 1024 x 768 !!

Is there any way of increasing the screen resolution to 1280 x 1024 from 1024 x 768 ??

Unsupported screen resolutions generally are not possible on internal
displays; some screen spanning software (unsupported by Apple?)
and ResX third-party patches may allow you to use those higher res-
olutions on an external display. But since they are not supported
officially by Apple, any hack to your system software/hardware which
could result in hardware damages to the computer will not be covered
under any Apple warranties on your computer.
So, were you trying to change the internal display's resolution beyond
specs or try running a different res external display?!
Best of luck in your experimentation.

  • Use GarageBand to make Narrated 1024 x 768 slide show?

I have a narration audio file (.aiff)
I have some 1024 x 768 pictures (all same size)
I want to create a QT movie of size 1024 x 768 with the pictures sync'ed to the narration.
Can I do this in GarageBand?
    1) 1024 x 768 QT output essential
    2) Control of QT compressor used would be nice
    3) Slides should appear as single elements in the movie, NOT as 30 fps "video-like" images
    - (e.g. I tried FCE already, it took 19 Mb of audio and slides and made a 1.2 GB finished movie !!!)
    Thanks!

I'd think iMovie is a better app to use, as your audio element is simple. You can import the aif track into imovie and affix your images to the audio track. You can also use the "ken Burns" effect to lend some visual movement to still slides, if need be.
If you need more advanced audio , you can import the whole thing back into garageband. Imovee also give you the option to export at "full resolution", although if that is true 1024x768, I don't know.

  • Compress HD at 1024 x 768

Hi - we produced some videos in After Effects for an installation. Because of limited material, we had to produce 1024 x 768, widescreen. Now we're going to MPEG2 for display. But Compressor will not let me export at 1024 x 768. I can't change the size; it says it will export based on source materials info, but it doesn't. It exports at 1280 x 720.
Can anyone help me with this? The final playback is on HDTV monitors that play several resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 from the Technovision DV-75.
    Any advice will help.
    Thanks, Geralyn

    Hi Geralyn,
Compressor won't export to MPEG2 at 1024x768 as that is not an MPEG2 supported resolution (frame size). You will need to use one of the supported sizes.
    From the Compressor User manual:
Note Since MPEG-2 for DVD uses fixed video frame sizes (shown in the table below), Compressor enters the output frame size in the fields in the Geometry pane based on your video format selection.
    Format                Frame size
    NTSC                   720x480
    720p                   1280x720
    1080i (HD res)     1440x1080
    1080i (Std res)     1920x1080

  • Desktop width - 1024 x 768 support  ?

Curious what settings people use to still get support for 1024 x 768 browser ?
I left my settings at the default and 1024 x 768 resolution visitors cannot view my site properly

    Hi there,
What issues are you facing with this resolution, are you viewing the content in a browser in 1024x768 desktop?
If you will have margins in the site properties or page properties then that will also add to the resolution, as 1024 is the page width and not browser's.
What exactly are viewers getting and what would you like to show them your page?

  • Should I be creating folios for the ipad at 1024 x 768 or 2048 x 1536?

    Hi,
    Should I be creating folios for the ipad at 1024 x 768 or 2048 x 1536?
    Thanks

The older iPad generation cannot display folios in 2048x1536, they are too large for the screen of the iPad and the iPad2. If you want to make sure all iPad users can see your content go for 1024x768.
If you have the resources to create several renditions of your folio, create a high-definition rendition to target specifically users with a Retina iPad. Have a look at this article: Creating DPS content for different iPad models.

  • How to change presets for Photos 1024 X 768 Premiere 11

How can I change the presets on Premiere 11 to work with Photos 1024 X 768 or 2592 x 1944 or 3648 x 2736. I want to use Premiere but I take more photos than video.

    jrodriguez6
    For your consideration....
If you have Premiere Elements 11 in Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit (and depending on overall system resources)....assuming a NTSC setup....
    a. Set the Premiere Elements 11 project preset manually
    File Menu/New/Project
    NTSC
    DSLR
    1080p
    DSLR 1080p30 @ 29.97
before you close out of that area, make sure that you have a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project".
    b. In the Premiere Elements 11 Expert workspace/ Edit Menu/Preferences/General remove any check mark next to "Default Scale To Frame Size". Import the photos into the project via Add Media/Files and Folders/Project Assets from where you drag the photos to the Timeline.
    c. From the Timeline, scale each (Constrain Proportions checked in Applied Effects Tab/Applied Effects Palette/Motion Panel expanded and its Scale property) so that the images fill the space in the monitor provided by the project preset.
    d. Publish+Share/Disc/DVD disc with preset = NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby DVD.
    What does that look like?
Further details on the above to come along with any clarification requested.
    Thank you.

Add On...Done as suggested will leave no black borders.

  • 1024 x 768 MPEG 2?

Greetings and thanks for any tips you may have.
Does anyone know of a way to make a 1024 x 768 MPEG2? I know that it will not be DVD compliant, but that's not what this is for.
    Thanks again!

I tried just now, and it doesn't appear that Compressor will let you put in a custom size.
