Why does JQuery Mobil 1.0 Update for Dreamweaver 5.5 not contain a valid signature after downloading and trying to install in Dreamweaver Extension Manager? I am using MAC OS 10.7.5

The iTunes 10.1 download will not install

If the lake weren't frozen, I'd be flinging my wife's new iPod Nano to the bottom of it. Theoretically, I have everything necessary to set my wife up on her Christmas gift, an iPod Nano. OSX 10.6.4 on a four month old iMac.
The download worked. When I clicked to install, the progress bar went along until it hit the very end. At the one minute to go mark, the installation stops progressing. It shows that the installation is still in progress but nothing further happens for two hours. Is there a glitch in the installation program?

You need to go here and downlaod iTunes and reinstall it. No need to uninstall first.

Version 10.1.54 was replaced by 10.1.56.
It is a different build number (56 vs. 54) but the same version so software update will not find it.

Pages download will not install

OSX Yosemite - iMac27" - 3,4GHz Intel Core i7 - 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Pages download is working normally but at the install there is no advance any more.
I dit remove the pages app and reinstall but stil the same problem the installation will not finish. I waited the whole night but nothing happened. The progress barr stays at a little point of the end.

I called apple support and they walked me through it. I think I had installed the trial period one and it was blocking the one I had purchased from downloading. They should help you if you punched it. Good luck

Downloads will not install

It seems that when I download certain files or software, I cannot open them in order to install the file. It will download to my desktop and when I go to open it a large text file will open containing pages of odd characters and words. How do I open the actual application up so I can install the neccesary files? Thanks!

What .file extension(s) are we talking about here .bin perhaps ?
.bin will require the freeware Stuffit Expander decompression utility

Office 365 Download Will Not Install

I had computer motherboard replaced under warranty. Had Office 2007. After restoring OS 8.1 tried to download Office 2007. Installation would hang and error message was simply stopped but sometimes would get close firewall message. Opened
365 account with new website. Tried to download desktop version from 365. Same error message. Have done the Mr. Fixit from microsoft, clean boot, stopped all services, closed virus, malware and firewalls, shut off defender etc etc. Same
error. Tried both 32bit and 64 bit (I7 processor). It has got to be something missing not colliding. What in the world did I do to this thing?

Forms 6i download will not install

So that we may better diagnose DOWNLOAD problems, please provide the following information.

- Filename

I am trying to install forms 61 against ora presonal 8.1.7 on a windows nt 4 workstation. The installer stops with the following message
the location specified c:..... is already used as an oracle home for oracle 817 production it cannot be used as an oracle home for nt.
I just installed the 817 personal from a download today and am attempting to install the forms package with it.
This machine did have a forms package installed in the past. Are there registry issues to deal with.

Will not install from inside App Manager

Got past the A12E5 error, now with the Adobe Application Manager installed it will not download the any software for install.
Is there a place to download them alternativly and use the App Manager to approve/activate and install?
I believe the error code is (-60)

Tried similar in Windows 7 with no effect. Also tried Adobe Creative Suite cleaner tool via http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html It installs ok on my laptop, so doesn't appear to be a location issue, but will not install on my workstation. Manual installation of AAM completes but after typing in user/pass it says 'download error, contact customer service'. Photoshop CS6 beta installed and functioned ok and I had CS4. Tried uninstalling both, same issues. Adobe Lightroom 3.6 is still installed and functions.
I also tried someone's suggestion of installing the trial of something so it would install the Akamai Netsession download manager. This completes and when I launch the AdobeApplicationManager.exe I can see it spawn Netsession which then hangs and can be killed initially, but zombies for a while ( cannot be killed ). Thanks for the suggestion - but I eventually tried again and was able to contact via "chat" to someone qualified to help. The problem was that in my existing "bridge" - preference was (I think by default) - checked to startup in background on Login. I did not realize this - because I don't think I set it that way in the first place (maybe I did a few years ago) - and I could not see anything in task manager to suggest that bridge was running an application or any process - but when I learned this - I was successful in installing PS CS6.
Yes, I'm still not on solid ground re: whether or not I want to change from "owning" the tool or renting it -- what concerns me is that is sounds like regardless of users wishes, Adobe is headed in this direction and will eventually make it financially more feasible to go that route. At the moment I think they are "asking" for everyone to get on their bandwagon, but who knows. They have a powerful set of tools, that they continue to support and advance - and along with those development and support costs, they also would like to make a profit - so I understand if their past marketing model is no longer sufficient.

No, iLIfe is a suite of applications: iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand (earlier versions of the suite also contained iDVD ad iWeb).

Adobe Download Assistant will not install.

I'm attempting to install the trial version of Design Premium CS5.5, but the Adobe Download Assistant will not install. It appears to be installing after I click on the installer--a window loads that says "Installing"--but then nothing happens. Nothing loads. Nothing shows up in the Applications folder. After trying this many, many times (with different browsers and after many refreshes and computer restarts), I'd sometimes get an error message that I need Adobe Air. When I try to install Adobe Air, I have the same issue: nothing happens. What can I do? I am using a brand new MacBook Pro.

I had a very very similar issue on my MacBook Pro as well with ADA. Solved it about 30 minutes ago. I found a post from late December that suggested trying the following:
System Preferences
Energy Saver
Uncheck "Automatic Graphic Switching" at the top of the page.
Install Adobe Air
Profit.
Hope it works for you too, I was ready to throw this box out the window.
