JRE 1.6 update 13 install with runtime parameters attached to the install.
I am trying to install Java 6 update 13 with the below parameters attached to the development.properties file. Is it possible to have a installation string attached to the Java install to have this done automatically without having to manually add it from the Java control panel? Below is the parameter I would like to already be loaded and added to the JRE.

Sure it's possible, but whether you can do it depends on the capabilities of whatever you're using to do the install. I would wxpect that most Java-aware installers have this capability.

The passcode you need to enter is the passcode you set on your device. It is the passcode that you enter when you turn on your iPad or awaken it from sleep after and Auto lock.
If you do not know or remember your password and did not store it somewhere then you will have to restore your device.

updated ipad2 with new os half through the restore it tells me to enter a backup file password.. I never set one??
Have you encrypted the backups files from your iPad? If so, that is likely the password needed.

Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer. -

Software updates sometimes do not install. I have two software updates that I continually show up as available to install. When I click on the install button it changes to installed. Checked About this Mac shows that the updates have not installed.

I have a windows 7 64x SP1.
Every time I install iTunes 12 I get this message when I try to open it:"This copy of iTunes is damaged and it has not been correctly installed. Please, install iTunes again.(-42404)".

You may want to refer to the help section of ePrintCenter.com here about attachments. In general though, Excel documents will have difficulty if they have complex variables in the document, such as pivot tables, macros, etc.

I have a Windows 7 x64 machine that is permanently stuck trying to install the same update.
I have followed various posts off of MS websites to rename SoftareDistribution etc. but none have helped.
HAve tried
1. Boot intoClean Boot Mode and try updating again.
2. Run the Microsoft Fixit and see how it works.
How do I reset Windows Update components?
3. Try System Update Readiness tool by referring toWhat is the System Update Readiness Tool?.
4. Run
System File Checker tool and see how it works.

Query for Software Updates Reports Install Date for only Some of the Installed Updates
We use the following query to retrieve a list of software updates for a specific collection and software update group. There are many cases where the installation status of a software update is 'installed' but there is no corresponding 'install
date'. Can anyone tell me why?

Its really difficult to do get the installed date of the patches as there is no table available in SCCM DB to pull this info i had a requirement in the past but i was unable to do had done it via work around.
This can be done after editing of sms_def.mof file or else using the power-shell script in windows server 2008 where the powershell is a feature by default.
H/W inventory:
For the 2000 servers this has to be installed but if we enable this its mentioned it may utilize upto 100 % of the Memory during the h/w inventory you can check that in your SMS_DEF.MOF -

Does wls8.1 install with oracle jdbc drivers in the classpath by default?
I just went through the 8.1 install tonight and it looks to me like the
oracle jars are in the default weblogic classpath.

Why is that? I don't have oracle, and with just learning how to use wls, it
took me a bit of time to finally figure this piece out (trying to get MySQL
drivers loaded). Not everyone has Oracle installed, so why put it on the
classpath for all servers/domains when they startup?

The Oracle driver is set in
bea/weblogic81/common/commEnv.cmd or commEnv.sh.
There is a WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH that has the jars in it and I always
put my stuff at the beginning.
I suspect that the preferred way of doing this is to update
/bea/weblogic81/samples/domains/examples/startExamplesServer.cmd
or whatever script is used to start the server.

The Oracle driver (client jar) is shipped in the box. Having it in theCLASSPATH makes it easier
for customers that use it.
If you don't use it and you want to use another driver, it won't get inthe way
since your alternate driver will have a different classname.
