JRE1.6.0-11 Download faild...Please Help
I try to download the Jre1.6.0-11 and everyhting goes fine till the end I get an >Java Error> Download failed:
The message I get is a dialog box with:
from=http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/Getfile/1.6.0-11-b03/windows-i586/jre1.6.0_11-cl.msi,
to=C:\Users?benji\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Jre1.6.0_11\jre1.6.0_11-c-l.msi
I checked the Control Panel and in Programs I don't see anything ???
I have Vista Home Premium 32 bits Operating System
Would appreciate somebody could help me, I really need thie Java (Govt. Website etc.)

Try using the offline download and install. Go to http://java.sun.com/ and click Java SE in the "Popular Downloads" at the right. Download and save the offline installer version of what you want. Click the saved file to install.
You can also check the Help information at the java.com website.

Absolutely. A proxy can prevent the software from downloading and installing.
I realize you have already purchased Lion from the App Store but a workaround in your case would be the thumb drive.

i used the "erase free space " option in disk utility and now my imac says the disk is full and wont let me download songs. please help!
You could try repairing permissions with disk utility, I don't think you will have the option to repair the drive but you could verify it.
This may help you delete the files that DU made but did not remove when erasing the free space.

When you get your SL disk it will not have the iLife applications, that would have been on the second install disk that should have been with the computer. A search of the forums will confirm or deny this.
As to whether a clean install will cure your problem, i.e. partition the HDD and install I would expect it to be yes, but there are no guarantees it is an old machine. -

Your other music shows under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes, and in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone - if they do then are you signed in with the same account or is that album hidden (hiding and unhiding) ? Is the laptop the computer that you normally sync the phone to (e.g. could you sync it), and could you copy the album from the laptop to your Mac Mini e.g. via file sharing, a flash drive etc (copying music)

How can I stop auto download of attachments without tapping on them? Once I open a mail, the attachment automatically starts downloading, though it is written as "tap to download". Please help..
To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to prevent the automatic downloading of the SD version when you buy an HD show.
You can, if you wish, suggest that the ability to prevent the SD version from downloading through the iTunes feedback page. But since the SD version is needed for use on iPods and there at least at present is no mechanism for someone to download the SD version at a later time should they decide they need it, Apple may just continue to force the downloading of both versions. If they get enough feedback on the issue, though, they may figure something out.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download - have you not got them on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting Apple, but they are under no obligation to let you re-download them : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

I had issues with the new update to itunes. I did as the website instructed and uninstalled all components.

I need the itunes on my desktop (PC_)Hi there, to authorize a computer, you open up itunes, and at the very very top lefthand corner, there will be a little window. Click on that, and it will present you with a list of options. From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized! Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 4 to Version 5, all the new apps that I try to download keeps saying "waiting" on my phone... It won't open or download! Only the old apps that I already had before I upgraded my phone works. Please help!!!
Try resetting the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
It won't open or download!
If that doesn't help tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings -
Cannot Install Adobe Acrobat Pro via Adobe Download Assistant - Please Help

Please can you help I am trying to download the adobe acrobat pro trial via the adobe download assistant but cannot get the download to complete successfully.
Everytime I try and download the file it freezes when almost totally downloaded (less than a minute remaining) and eventually returns an error saying:
Error extracting teh product installer (Error 101). Check for available disk space on your system and try downloading the product again. I am trying to install to the desktop on a drive with 600GB free!!
Please help, I have downloaded the ADA through google chrome on a machine with windows 7 (64bit)

Though if the extraction fails, you may face that same issue again. Store the fiel in a different location and do a littel housekeeping. You could well simply be running out of temp space or have a permissions problem on your temp folder...
