JSF Creator IDE in a language and generated comments in another language

Hello,
I am using JSF Creator in french which is perfect for me.
However JSF Creator generates comments in french which is a problem since several nationalities are represented on the project (I am working in switzerland).
I would like to be able to generate the comments in english.
Is it possible?
I did not find the answer in the JSFC tool options.

There is no automatic way to do this. You have to generate your new source files in an English locale if you want the default comments in English, then return to the French locale to continue working. The comments will continue to appear in English, of course, but you will be continuing to switch locales every time you create a new source file.
Perhaps recommending French lessons to your colleagues would be easier..;-)

Did you select the languages on the first screens of the Universal Installer, when installing this instance? If not, you may need to do it again to enable support for that language.

What can I do ... I cannot find deinstall and i cannot find the choice of language of the apps

E72 or E7 with additional input languages and spel...

Hi.
I have a E72 with swedish keyboard and a language package with english, swedish and finnish.
i am occasionally writing messages in other languages as well (norwegian and polish).
norwegian input is not a problem, i just use the Symbol key. Polish symbols are not possible though.
And spellcheckers (prediction) is not possible for norwegian nor polish.
i have seen it is possible on android phones.
i really do not need a proper polish keypad as long as i can create the characters, but i would very much appreciate predictive input for norwegian and polish.
Is there a way to add polish as an input language and add the two spellchecker languages without changing the language package from swedish on the E72?

These phones only have standard language packs, so you can't add what you want. There is a complete list of all the language packs somewhere, but I have no idea, which of them contain Polish. Mine has Danish, English, Icelandic and Norwegian...
I would love Brazilian Portuguese, which I write quite a lot, but then with Portuguese you _can_ get away with no accents at all, although it doesn't look very nice...

IPhone language and labels all defaulting to Hebrew! Why?

Don't you kind of know the location of the menu without reading? I just did an experiment and I changed to another language that I didn't know. I was able to change it back to English. Come on, treat this as a puzzle game.

Hi Raju,
when you open the WD4A component in SE80 (and select the "Web-Dynpro-Applications" node at the tree view in the left menu) and hit the edit button in the toolbar (the button with the pen and the glasses), then - if the language of the application is another language than yours from GUI logon - the system asks you if you want to change it.
Otherwise, if you just want to change the language that is used to display in Internet Explorer, you can change the "sap-language=<LANGUAGE>" option in the URI of the application, where <LANGUAGE> is the 2-character abbrevation.

Hi newbie_r and welcome to the RH community.
You don't say what version of RH you have but the latest
version (RH7) has Unicode Support that allows you to produce help
files in most languages. The exceptions are mainly the right to
left languages (e.g. arabic, hebrew).
As far as the template is concerned, you can assign any text,
image to a template and it will be applied to any topics you assign
the template to.
If you haven't already, I'd download the trial version and
experiment a bit. Set up a template with what you want and then
create a couple of simple help files containing just a few topics
each. That will reassure you of RH7s capabilities in this
area.

How to Develop Static page using JSF/Creator

Hi,
I am a newbie trying to understand how one develops static pages in JSF. I fear I am going to require a hybrid development environment; that is, I will need two IDE's. For example, Dreamweaver AND Creator.
I'd like to just use one as it is more convenient, and the static pages will be configured as necessary as fully integrated pages. But I'm not sure how to use JSF/Creator to develop "plain vanilla" HTML/JSP pages.
I appreciate any feedback and "education". :-)

I dont use it much, but im pretty sure there is a tabbed pane allowing you to swith between a HTML/JSF code view and a visual view, a little like dreamweaver. I currently hand code my JSF pages in a standard IDE, its not too tricky once you understand the tags, and it gives you flexible control which I like. Maybe this approach will work for you

Kindly let us know URGENTLY if RoboHelp 7.02.001 supports Arabic language to generate context sensitive help in Arabic. If RoboHelp does not support, let us know if there is any other workaround solution or third party integration tool that may help us to generate Arabic help files.

The supported languages are listed in the help file, they do not include right to left languages.
There are no tools that I know of but last week there was a post that might interest you.

HT2242 When I open the icon it is in a foreign language and I do not get the box to Edit or to change my settings. Please someone help!!

I have just downloaded itunes to my laptop and requested the English (United States) version.
When I open the icon it comes up in a foreign language that I have no idea what it is and I am not sure how to change it to English.

Here's an excerpt from the ipod 5th gen. manual:

Java Studio Creator IDE Download Error

So I just watched a demo on the Java Studio Creator IDE and thought I'd go ahead and download it. So I followed the link from within the demo. I then had to create an account. That went just fine. After I got logged in, I went to the following url:

Which opened up a new window witht the following url:

Leave it to Sun to gloat about a new product and then not even be able to download it. Pretty lame if you ask me. Sun can't even get something as simple as a file download from the web to work, how well do you expect their development environment or resulting application to work.

Mapping validates and generates ok but get pl/sql warn in deploy

Hi there
Can validate and generate mapping ok but when deploy get various pl/sql error messages such as error ... coulmn ignored
Anybody seen this sort of thing?
I'm new to OWB but would have hoped the validate stuff would pick up any bugs
otherwise not very useful since now have to go back to mapping and rip bits out and use deployemnt as a validation check.
Any Ideas?

The validation are only relevant with the design repository. It only validates with whatever is there in the design repository matches with the mapping that you have created. It does not tell you if any column in a table is missing in the database.
Secondly some expression are not validated at times and gives warnings/errors only at deploy time. Probably this is what has heppened with you. Check your expressions, if they are syntactically correct or not and then try deployign again.

In search of the links Country to Languages and Language to Countries.

At the beginning, I was happy. With some users coming from France (fr_FR) or from the US (en_US), it was easy to do offer them some preselections in their forms, such as: "France", "United States" for any addresses they wished to type, or even EUR or USD if they had to select some currencies.
But then, a Vietnamese came.
His browser mentions only "*vi*" and this is normal. This is the standard.
But, I would have loved having vi_VN instead! Because, if from vi I can extract Vietnamese easily (the tongue), I can't extract the country (Viet Nam) or the currency (VND).
Java offers two lists:
The one with all the languages,
The other with all the countries.
When a user comes and you only know his language, is there a way to find his associated country?
Making the (dangerous?) assumption that if the locale mentions only the language, it means that the country speaking that language would be unique?
Do I have a way to generate from vi: vi_VN?
Next, with Africans (af) langage, as another example, af_<something>?
Things, are really tricky for me (as you can see).
Am I misleading?

RoboHelp 10 .apj file error issues & crashing on save and generate

Hello All!
I am working with a large FM book (100+ FM files) that we have linked to a RoboHelp 10 project.
Everytime I update my RH project I am getting this error:
I have tried copying the folder, deleting the .apj file, and reopening. RHopens just fine.
The other major issue I am having is when I save and generate the project RoboHelp freezes up and won't save & generate the layout.
I have all of the FM files open and updated. Everything that can be updated in RH before save and genereate is updated. Any ideas??
