    how i can run the build.xml

    Hi,
    not quite sure the question is clear. The add cart command is a link defined in the JSPX file
    <af:commandLink partialSubmit="true"
    actionListener="#{shoppingCartBean.addItemToCart}"
    id="cl3">
    that points to
    public void addItemToCart(ActionEvent evt) {
    Map attributes = evt.getComponent().getAttributes();
    invokeUpdateOp(new Integer(attributes.get( PRODUCT_ID_COL )+ ""));
    in StoreFrontModule\StorefrontUI\src\oracle\fodemo\storefront\cart\view\managed\ShoppingCartBean.java . This is where you follow up then.
    +"how i can make Repetition for the items in home.jspx"+
    I can only assume you mean how to create the catalog items. Here I suggest you look at the demo source as this is what the demo is for. If you are new to ADF, I recommend that you first run a tutorial from here
    If you are on 11g R1: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/overview/index-100269.html
    If you are on 11g R2: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18941_01/tutorials/toc.htm
    No demo can replace proper learning, to be honest

  • Charts in Apex 3.2 demo application do not display in Firefox browser

    Hi,
    just installed Apex 3.2 and launched the demo application using Firefox 3.5.7
    The charts are not displayed. Switching to MS Internet Explorer everything works fine.
    Is Firefox not supported or any idea what's missing to display the charts ? Adobe flashplayer 10 plugin and Adobe SVG 3.0 are installed on
    my WIN XP client.
    Regards, Werner

    It kept bugging me .. so I worked on it a bit.
    The charts actually show, then get hidden by the noplugin funciton.
    The problem is in Firefox ( the (ns || mo || !win) branch) the plugin check does not work.
    When I use either this, the check for SVG feature:
    function supportsSvg() {
    return document.implementation.hasFeature("http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/feature#Shape", "1.0")
    and
    hasSVGSupport = supportsSvg();
    or a check by mime types , like this:
    var hasSVGSupport = false;
    if (navigator.mimeTypes != null && navigator.mimeTypes.length > 0) {
    if (navigator.mimeTypes["image/svg-xml"] != null)
    hasSVGSupport = true;
    I get the correct result and the charts display (remain displayed).
    I simply modified plugins.js and use my modified version instead.
    if (ns || mo || !win) {
    if (hasSVGSupport) {
    null;
    } else {
    noPlugin('svgRegion');
    Hope this helps,
    K

  • Error in loading demo application

    Hi ,
    I tried in loading the issuer tracker demo application as per directions in the read me file.
    When I tried to import the sql through application express instant , I am getting the error as shown below.
    ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: Execution of the statement was unsuccessful. ORA-20001: The procedure remove_flow was called without a value for p_id -- a application ID must be provided. <pre>begin -- Remove Application wwv_flow_api.remove_flow(); end; </pre>
    Any one has idea's.
    Thanks
    MA.

    I'll take a guess here.
    I'm thinking your phrase "import the sql through application express instant" means that you're taking the SQL script and attempting to execute it in SQL Script or SQL Commands in the SQL Workshop.
    If that is the case, then that's your error. You simply want to import this as an Application in Application Builder.

  • Error while executing the DEMO application of ADS

    Hi,
    I have installed a sneak preview version of Java stack 7.0. With that I have downloaded the latest credentials for Adobe Document Service from the SDN and followed these steps to configure it.
    Copied the .pfx file to <INST_DRIVE>:\usr\sap\J2E\SYS\global\AdobeDocumentServices\TrustManagerService\trust\credentials.
    Logged into visual admin .
    On the Cluster tab, choose Server 0 -> Services -> Document Services Configuration
    On the Runtime tab, select Credentials
    Choose Browse to search for the name of the credential and then Select
    In the Alias field, enter the alias of the credential you installed, for example ReaderRights. (Entries for the name of the credential are case-sensitive)
    In Password field, enter the password you received together with the credential you installed (filename.txt in the archive). Confirm the password again and then click Add
    Restart the following services for the changes to take effect: PDF Manipulation Module, Document Services Trust Manager. To perform this, right-click on the repective service choose Stop and after the service has stopped, Start it again
    Restart also the application com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices located at Server 0 -> Services -> Deploy (radio button Application)
    I can execute the web service of ADS sucessfully using the URL: http://localhost:50100/AdobeDocumentServices/Config. I am getting response with version number.
    After doing so I tried executing the DEMO Application from the link :
    http://localhost:50100/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/TutWD_OnlineInteractiveForm/OnlineInteractiveFormApp
    But the applicaiton was not getting executed.
    I got the following error.

  • Creating a JSF Web application from scratch.

    hi,
    i have created a JSF web application, but not from scratch i had to use a jsf example included in the final specification of the JSF download, as a template to create my own application, by deleting and editing the example files with my own.
    i tried to do it from scratch including all the settings, parameters and files that should be in place, but i sill get an error when starting the app in tomcat.
    Unfortunately i dont have the error listing anymore since i have got around the problem through alternate path. however i do remember that it came with cannot find FacesServlet, or something to do with the FacesServlet.
    if anyone could shed some light on this it would be really great because it so frustrating.
    many thanks.
    dharam

    cannot find FacesServlet, or something to do with the FacesServlet.It might appear not because you have a wrong project structure, but because you point to the entry jsp file directly without using the servlet mapping in your URL. Check this first.

  • File upload demo application in 2.0

    Hi!
    I implemented the file upload application from the demo applications with the standard table HTMLDB_APPLICATION_FILES. It works very fine. Thanks for sharing this code.
    BUT I was unable to implement a custom table, because I could not locate the insert-function (as described in the tutorial). It is no known process on any of my pages.
    Could you help me finding it?
    (And is a file always stored as blob, or could it be a clob as well?)
    My main motive for this question is to gain inside knowledge in building some crude filerepository. We receive plain-ascii-data files via ftp and I have to import their data into a table.
    I do not want to go through all this 'reading OS-directory with java, opening files as external tables, moving them with utl_file', if I simply could
    a) receive the file directly as a clob in my table
    b) get the necessary data with sql
    c) handle all archiving, file renaming directly by updating a table
    Beside application express's file upload (speaking only http), the is a XML repository which 'speaks' ftp and http.
    Does someone have experience with uploading non-xml files and storing them as clobs?
    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hello Michael,
    I believe the reference in the demo tutorial is to Insert process (not function). This is probably the process defined on page 8-6, step 4a of the "Create a process to insert information" section.
    Basically you can upload and store files in CLOB. For my self, I only did it with XML files, but I don't see any reason not to do it with other types of files.
    I think that in order to work with non-structured files (like ASCII) you should learn more about Oracle Text. Apex is also using this product. Search this forum for "oracle text" and continue from there.
    Hope this helps,
    Arie.

  • Oracle Fusion Store Front Demo Application - Schema Creation Failed

    I have downloaded the Fusion Store Front Demo Application "FusionOrderDemo_R1PS2.zip" from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/index-095536.html .
    Followed the instructions on the same page. But Schema creation is failing.
    I am not sure why it is not picking the whole path till JDeveloper i.e. looking for wlserver_10.3\server]\lib in I:\Oracle\FusionMiddleware\wlserver_10.3\server\lib ( JDeveloper not getting added to path.)
    Build.Properties file content :
    jdeveloper.home=I:/Oracle/FusionMiddleware/JDeveloper
    src.home=..//..
    # JDBC info used to create Schema
    jdbc.driver=oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver
    jdbc.urlBase=jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost

    Thanks,
    Rajdeep

    Thanks John.
    So jdeveloper.home is not the JDeveloper installation directory. Actually jdeveloper.home value should include jdeveloper folder along with JDeveloper Installation directory.
    Can you please look whether this run is successful. It seems like some issues with populate images or should i open a separate post for this.

  • ANNOUNCE:  Speed up your Data-Driven JSF/Seam Application by Two Orders of

    Hello,
    I am pleased to announce a new article on JSF Central. In the second installment of this two-part article, Dan Allen continues his discussion of some common performance problems you may encounter when using JSF components, Seam components, and the EL. You'll learn about the set of best practices for eliminating them that led to an improvement of two orders of magnitude in the performance of his application.
    Here is an excerpt:
    In the first part of this article, I began briefing you on optimizations I made to maximize the responsiveness of a JSF application that I developed out in the field. I cited performance problems caused by casually accessing components from a JSF view, then presented a set of best practices to eliminate this unnecessary overhead. Despite the progress made by the end of the first part, you had not yet witnessed the two orders of magnitude in performance improvement that was promised.
    In this part, the additional gains will be achieved by leveraging partial page rendering-provided by the RichFaces JSF component library and by slimming the response. Partial page rendering cuts out the overhead of rerendering the entire page after each user interaction, which turns out to be the real bottleneck in most traditional web applications, and instead redraws only the areas of the page that have changed. Naturally, you want the replacement HTML source to be as condensed as possible. These optimizations allow the responsiveness of a web application to measure up to its desktop counterpart.

    Hi,
    how can we ensure that every body define the id in jsf page. we are using the jsf 1.0 and I think this artical for jsf 1.2
    with IBM extended JFS lib.
    if we don't want to change the code of full application,is it possible to speed up the render time with the help of framework or some other way.

  • JCA Binding Component connection issue in the Oracle Order Demo Application

    Hi,
    I setup the Oracle Fusion Middleware. I also deployed the Oracle Fusion Order Demo Application in the soa_server. I placed the order in the store front web.I initiated the webservice (OrderBookingService) and found the below error in the soa_server_diagnostic log file.
    =====================================================================================================================================
    Caused by: BINDING.JCA-12563
    Exception occured when binding was invoked.
    Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Write' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue.
    JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection.
    OrderBookingComposite:USPSShipment [ Write_ptt::Write(body) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510
    JCA Resource Adapter location error.
    Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/>
    The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/file/FODFileAdapter'.
    The reason for this is most likely that either
    1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or
    2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/file/FODFileAdapter. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR).
    Please correct this and then restart the Application Server
    The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.
    =====================================================================================================================================

    Thanks Guys.
    I resolved the issue.
    The issue is that FileAdapter for FulFillment mediator is missing.
    Solution 1:
    File adapter connection factory needs to be created via the weblogic console
    The details below:
         JNDI Name: eis/file/FODFileAdapter
         controlDir          java.lang.String     /tmp/control
         inboundDataSource     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOADataSource
         outboundDataSource     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOADataSource
         outboundDataSourceLocal     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOALocalTxDataSource
         outboundLockTypeForWritejava.lang.String     oracle
    Solution 2:
    seedFodFileAdapterResources target in $FOD_HOME/bin/common-sca-tools.xml needs to be executed to create the file adaptor.
    Thanks.

  • Setting Up the Fusion Order Demo Application, error in import Fod schema

    Hello,
    using Jdev11R1 ,Setting Up the Fusion Order Demo Application, and modify the properties in build.properties for my environment , but i don't undersatnd what is (src.home=..//..)
    i followed the instraction to get demo FOD schema , right-click build.xml and
    choose Run Ant Target > buildAll.
    i got this
    Buildfile: C:\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\build.xml
    init:
    [javac] Compiling 1 source file to C:\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\classes
    setProperties:

    thanks

    I ran into the same problem. If the jdeveloper.home was set like below:
    jdeveloper.home=C:\oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper
    A Run Ant Target buildAll would produce the following:
    Buildfile: E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\build.xml
    init:
    [javac] Compiling 1 source file to E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\classes
    setProperties:
    createDatabase:
    refreshSchema:
    BUILD FAILED
    E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\Ant\build.xml:52: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\DBSchema\build.xml:91: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\DBSchema\build.xml:56: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    E:\source\java\FOD_11\Infrastructure\DBSchema\build.xml:28: C:\oracle\Middleware\utils\quickstart\wlserver_10.3\server\lib not found.
    No where could I find the path C:\oracle\Middleware\utils\quickstart set in any of the scripts. If I hard coded the path in the fileset below
    <path id="oracle.jdbc.path">
    <fileset dir="${jdeveloper.home}/../wlserver_10.3/server/lib">
    <include name="ojdbc6.jar"/>
    </fileset>
    </path>
    I would just get another error further in the process when the jdeveloper.home was expanded again.
    When I change the "\" to "/" in the jdeveloper.home (<fileset dir="${jdeveloper.home}/../wlserver_10.3/server/lib">) the build completed successfully.
