JSF Pages are not rendering correctly when loaded using Non JSF actions

Hi All,
This problem is irritating me and I am posting the same query for the third time here.
When I come from non jsf actions such as page submitting using Javascript, clicking anchor link, clicking normal Html submit button and so on my page is not rendering correctlly .
In other words, My first GET method/Post method works perfectly for the first time when the page is loaded.
But when we try to access the page for the second time, although logical work is perfect in bean, I am getting same old page.
How to resolve this issue?

Is this Bug of Sun's Implementation of JSF Framework.

Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.
See how you go.

To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

I am using Ind CC 2014 exporting a document to a reflowable epub. The document contains an .ai image. The image exports correctly in some parts of the.epub but not others, where it is distorted. There is a warning on export :"Non rectangular objects will not appear correctly when exported using CSS." Any suggestions appreciated.

The maximize/minimize and close and buttons are not shown correctly when FF windows is maximized.

I have the same problem on all my computers, one running Windows 7 and two with Vista.
The three buttons in the upper right corner of the FF windows are not shown correctly. They are soft of cut off in the middle when the FF window is maximized.

It is possible that the screen is too wide or too high and that the scroll bars fall off.<br />
Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.<br />
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.<br />

German umlauts are not shown correctly, when a received e-mail is opened the first time. What can I do?

When I open a received e-mail the first time, German umlauts (ä, ö, ü) are not shown correctly. Instead of them there are characters like §,$. When I close the e-mails and open them again the German umlauts are shown correctly. I don't know how to solve that problem. Who can help me?

Google maps are not rendering correctly. A work related site also gets messed up. I am forced to use IE.

There is too much white space. And, things are not where they used to be. On the work related site SharePoint looks weird. There are lines around things I did not expect. Also, I have a website that I publish. It looks fine with Firefox 3.6.3, but with 3.6.12 all the pictures are missing and spaces are not proportioned correctly.

JSF tags are not rendered in error page

I have configured error page for HTTP 404 error in web.xml like this

When I deploy application and run into 404 error, page displays error message with only Back button. I don't see SingOut button. I have checked url and it follows /faces/* pattern. Still to double check, I made a change and configured servlet mapping in web.xml as

So can you please provide any suggestions...

I think my faces servlet is configured to handle URLs having /faces/* pattern. I don't have any folder named with faces but I can access all my web pages which have /faces/ in their url. All jspx pages in application are configured in task flows. So I think they have access in FacesContext. But error page is configured in only web.xml and some how it is missing access to FacesContext and not rendering JSF tags. Any help?

WebView not rendering correct when pages have jquery

Hi all,
I use the webview from javafx last version(2.2.3) bundled with jdk7. All works ok on a pages that use native(vanilla) js, but on a pages
that use jquery I see problems (some feature work some not).
Any idea-experience somebody?!
I used the very basic example from the documantation, and I just point to a page which uses jquery 1.7.3...

Like I said some of the features are not working. I still can not narrow down to what exactly,

its pointing to https://www.softwaredemo.de , the navigation uses jquery to show dropdown lists (this all works on a normal browser)
but in the webview is not working. I also found problems on other pages using jquery, I can post more if you need...
Interesting is that if we use the toggle button to execute a jquery script which hides or shows the body...

Page numbers are not generated correctly when print from Word to PDF

Whenever I print my Word document to PDF, my page numbers do not reflect the page numbers shown in Print Preview.
For example, I have a Word document with 10 pages and after generating it as PDF, the page number shows Page 1 of 1; Page 2 of 2; Page 3 of 3; ......Page 10 of 10.
Please advise what may be the cause and how can I rectify this problem?

I do have some sections breaks on the pages, however the pages are all shown in running sequence even on Preview page.
It is the final generated document that has this problem.
I emailed my colleagues my WORD document and ask them to generate to PDF and they have no issues printing the WORD to PDF and every pages were in running order.
Any other advise?

Oops - spry menu bar 2.0 does not display correctly when loaded

I notice bzz31 had a pretty complicated post, so perhaps someone can help me with my complicated problem that has been vexing me for months. I tried the Spry Menu Bar 1.0, but it was impossible for me to edit, and I was delighted to see Spry Menu Bar 2.0 come out. However the 2.0 version has been frustrating me as well.
I can get my menu bar to display properly in Live View, as shown below.
However when I load everything onto the server, the menu bar does not display correctly, as shown below:
I don't quite understand the code "file:///" but I interpret it to mean that the Spry-UI-1.7 folder is in the topmost folder of MacPro5-Docs, which is my hard drive. Here's the code I'm having trouble with:

Replace the red coloured parts with http://www.twhsbands.org/ will remedy the situation.

Pages do not display correctly when edit is chosen

Just installed and set up CS5. When I browse to a page it looks just fine until I click on edit, then the page appears with little if any formatting. The nav bars are simply a vertical list at the top of the page and the body of the page is accessed by scrolling down. No background, heading, limited formatting. Page does not appear as it looks when viewing in an Internet browser.

Endashes and quotes are not converted correctly when copying FM files by reference

I'm using FM7 in the TCS1 in a Windows XP environment. I am copying FM books by reference into my RH project.
I'm noticing that endashes (–) and quotation marks (") are not consistently coming across correctly in my RH project. Instead, I am getting &endash; for the endash, and &rdquor: instead of a quote. Note: it appears to be only the first quote that encloses text that doesn't convert; the closing quote converts.
Any ideas?

I have RoboHelp 7 and the patches won't install unless I do a complete reinstall. Since I'm at the end of a release, that will have to wait.
