I have read the post about this issue (March 2006), but i steal have a question if we can't initialize the meet me conference with some axl methods.
Or is there another way to initialize this meet me number, without using jtapi?
Does anybody have a solution to this problem

You can't create a Meetme conference with IPCC. The only thing you can do is modify the way people connect into the meetme by requiring them to enter a PIN.. Annouce the Name of person enter and so on...

It sounds like maybe your home page was accidentally set to include multiple pages, including the add-on manager. Try opening the Firefox options window and pasting the address of just your desired page in the "Home Page" field.

Can Auto-Promote be engaged during initial Meeting Setup?

We have usually gone about setting up our meeting as to where the Host can set the option to Auto-Promote Participants as they come in once the Meeting has been started. What we were curious of was wehter or not this setting could be set and remain so that anyone accessing the link would be Auto-Promoted without the Host being present. This way we could send the link to the requesting parties and they could send out to whoever they needed to in order for them to interact on their own free time without IT involvement. Any response would be a great help. Thanks!

The auto-promote will remain engaged until a Meeting Host disables it.
So long as you have Concurrent User licensing, the individual should be able to join the room and be promoted up to Presenter.
I have my test room set up with the auto promote on http://realeyesconnect.adobeconnect.com/openroom/. You should be able to join, and will see that you have Presenter Level rights.

Meeting request not showing up in outlook

Outlook 2010 - meeting request received, is not showing up in Outlook inbox. The new mail icon blinks briefly and the meeting dissapears, it does appear as tentative in the calendar, however does not give an option to accept/decline.
OWA works fine, and the meeting request also shows up fine in BB.
No rules in outlook that affects this either.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Update:
tried outlook /cleanreminders - didn't help.
Other reminders works, like the meeting & task reminders, just the initial meeting acceptance pop up is missing.
The meeting can be accepted / declined by going into the calendar where the meeting shows up as tentative (as expected).
This behaviour is on multiple machines (home/work) both exhibiting the same behaviour.

      Check Tools/Options/Preferences/Calendar Options/Resource Scheduling to see if it is set to automatically accept.
      Can you find metting request in delete item folder?
      Can you delete user account on blackberry and run office again?

The meeting organizer cancelled the meeting, but it is still in my calendar

All of the following occurs on a MacBook running OS X Mavericks and Apple's Mail and Calendar apps:
Initial meeting invitations sent to my Exchange email account and viewed in the Mail app can be accepted in the Calendar app and work fine. Note that the Exchange account I am using does not support calendars. Meetings are accepted into my Google calendar (I am not sure why...I changed the default calendar to iCloud and it still places new meeting invitations into the Google calendar). Changes to meetings which arrive as email messages in my Exchange account (whether the meeting time changes or the meeting is deleted) do not reflect in the calendar—even when I receive a notification that a meeting has been cancelled and removed from my calendar, it has not been removed. If the time changes for a meeting, the original meeting time remains in the calendar.
Anyone have any ideas why meeting invitation updates don't update the calendar?

Inbound Exchange Updates Issue

My wife uses iCal (Snow Leopard) and MobileMe to her iPhone (iOS4) to manage her business calendar. She often gets meeting invites froma client that is using Outlook/Exchange. The initial meeting comes into her iCal (albeit to a strange calendar) but then, if the sender updates the meeting, the update doesn't get reflected in the original invitation.
I have looked at all the settings and can't find anything amiss. Is this just an incompatability between Exchange and iCal or am I missing something?

A little more clarification on this issue. When the original calendar event comes into iCal, it goes to a calendar called Mail To Dos under the On Mac Mac section of the sidebar. All of the other calendars are listed under:
[email protected]
I can't transfer the incoming calendar event to any of the other calendars and I know that when I accept the appointment the sender gets a confirmation but on my end it doesn't look like I have accepted it.
The email he sends the invitationms to is a gmail address. She doesn't want to have any more email addresses but would a me.com address solve this problem?
Any thoughts?

Synchronize iCal with Exchange Calendar

The answer may be somewhere else, but there are too many post to get through to find the answer.
Previous to Tiger, I had it where my iCal synchronized with my calendar in Exchange. Once I installed Tiger, I cannot find this option, and my iCal is not synchronizing any longer with my Exchange account. Everything else synchronizes just fine.
Where is the option to turn this back on? I've searched through the iCal prefs, Mail prefs, iSynch prefs, .Mac pref panel, etc., cannot find the option to turn this back on.

Yeah, it's a real pain.
I had been using GroupCal but feel hesitant to use the 2.5beta - it would be be nice to know how far off 3.0 is.
What I have discovered with Apple Mail/iCal though is that the fault seems to be in how Apple Mail deals with the initial meeting request on the Exchange server. When you look in your Exchange Calendar folder in Apple Mail you get a URL that doesn't work. (I have just seen the note about Apple-[ so will try that soon)
What I do currently is get my outlook mail onto my PocketPC and either accept or give tentative acceptane to meeting requests. I then see the appropriate .ics files in the Calendar folder when viewing via Apple Mail and can click on the file to create the appropriate iCal event. This event then shows up correctly, as you would expect of an Outlook event including attendees and meeting status - which you can change in iCal.
There is something simple that Apple seems to be missing here.

Newbie ? about variables

I am completely ignorant concerning CF, for that matter I am generally ignorant as well. I own a website written in CF that I need to change. I am changing the URL to the site and need to update links within the site to reflect the changes. Most of the links contain a variable which would make the job easy but…. ColdFusion is actually one of those tools that it will be well worth your time to get to know much better. (There are also third-party implementations.)
Of the various platforms I have used in past lives, there is "a subtle but important cleverness" to what they've done and how they've done it. There is much more to this system than initially meets the eye, vis-a-vis other more well-known systems like PHP. It will be worth your time to get to know it better.
According to the online documentation such as http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/, in the section ColdFusion Developer's Guide / Using ColdFusion Variables / Using Periods in Variable References, the "Variables.variable" syntax is a reference (in this case) to what ColdFusion calls a scope. (This particular scope-name is actually mentioned on that page.)
Two sections down, in ColdFusion Developer's Guide / Using ColdFusion Variables / About Scopes, we find a complete list of these "scopes" including the "Variables." scope.
The particular statement that you refer-to looks like a "do-nothing" because this scope is actually implied: the statement appears to be assigning the variable to itself. Nevertheless, ColdFusion has been around for a while now and it has evolved quite a bit during that time. Useful things have been added to the system in each of its incarnations. You might be looking at older code wherein such methods were deemed to be necessary. Or it could be a bug. Who knows.

Presenter output ONE single SWF

Hi,
I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to do the
following. What I'm looking for is to export a PPT presentation
that is heavy on animation that includes audio. For this the
presenter plug-in works very well. Compared to captivate's import
features and recording system, I prefer the presenter system in
terms of ease of use for the author.
The one BIG problem I have is that I must have the final file
output be a single SWF file, because that is what our technology
teams can handle. They can't do zips, exes, or full directories
with js, xml, htm and separate flash files. So my questions are two
fold:
1. Has anyone been able to convert the whole zip package into
a swf package easily.
2. If not, does anyone know of a consulting resource that can
create/modify the output of presenter to that effect

I, too, am trying to figure this one out.
I'm in charge of streamlining our web seminar archiving
process, and one of the major problems is that we use an operator
assisted service for the audio. Because the audio never passes
through Adobe Connect, it isn't recorded. Currently, a person has
to set up a completely new meeting after the initial meeting and
sync the audio from the operator service by hand (using up 2
computers for the whole hour meeting!).
Coming from an audio/video background, I'm trying to
understand why there isn't an option to:
a) get the original media files from the Connect admin to
sync the audio and re-upload
b) import an audio file into the recording from the original
meeting on the Connect server
c) export the synchronized presentation with Presenter as a
single Flash movie, or something similarly useful
Any help we could get would be greatly appreciated!

Having to re-accept meeting requests on iPhone after initial acceptance in Outlook

I've searched these forums for awhile and all syncing issues seem to dance around the actual issue I'm having.
Currently have an iPhone 4 running IOS 6.1.2. Business is running Microsoft Outlook 2007 and I'm connecting to Exchange through OWA.. I have no syncing issues when creating meeting requests from my phone or vice versa like others have had and I have not had any issues with meetings being deleted.
However, since updating from IOS 5 to IOS 6, I do have an issue where if I accept a meeting request inside of Outlook, it does not sync and clear out the meeting request as "accepted" on my iPhone. The only way to remove the notification is to select the request in the calendar and accept it a 2nd time and thereby sending a 2nd acceptance to the meeting organizer.
I've tried everything from changing Outlook settings in order to delete meeting invitations after acceptance to the numerous suggestions found in these forums though none specifically solve this particular issue.
Any help or direction to the thread where this might be solved would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Has anyone figured out a solution to this yet? I have an iPhone 5s and an iPad Mini. I have my Outlook 2010 calendars synced on both my iPhone and iPad Mini. If I accept a meeting request in Outlook, it still appears in the Inbox in my calendar on both my iPhone and iPad Mini. If I accept the meeting request on my iPhone, it still appears in my Inbox on my calendar on my iPad Mini.
I have my Outlook set to delete meeting requests/invites after I have accepted them, and that works in Outlook, yet they still remain on my iDevices. I have restarted both devices, and I have backed up iCloud again on both devices. I don't want to have to accept meeting requests on both my iPhone and iPad each time I receive them because that makes me look foolish. I also don't want to see the meeting requests in my Inbox on my iPad after I already accepted it on my iPad because the little number 1 in the red circle (signifying an alert on my calendar) is annoying.
Who can solve this problem so that after I accept a meeting request in Outlook, that invite does not appear anymore in my Inbox for my iPhone and iPad calendars? Please! Thank you in advance.
