JTEAM please help:how to show flexible date in a time component

According to Steven Muench about How to handle Flexible Date Format on Feb 28,2001. I create the FlexiDate Domain and create a FlexiDate.class in the
howto.common package. Then in Employees entity on the Attribute Setting page I select Hiredate attribute and change its datatype from Date to howto.common.FlexiDate.
But in JSP when I edit a record the time component(LOV) only show YYYY-MM-DD and I can not select HH and MM. After select a day I want to append HH and MM by hand, but I can not enter HH and MM at all.
Another problem: I need to calculate interval between two time columns and get hours. For example the interval between 2002-10-10 12:10 and 2002-10-11 14:10 is 26.
Thanks in advance!

Geoff,
I recently answered this same question for you in the other OTN thread that you posted.

If you have a follow up question on an existing thread, it's best to post a further response to that same thread instead of creating a new thread.
Thanks.

    I am pleading for help!

To edit the time format, you need to:
    1. select the simple date formatter in the attribute's control hints and use a format string that includes a time format.
    2. Change your entity attribute to be of type 'timestamp' since the Date type doesn't allow editing the time portion of your field.

  • Re:re:how to show flexible date in a time component in JSP

    Thank Juan Oropeza.
I have tried it according to your solution. In edit.jsp the timefield show
YYYY-MM-DD 12:00 then I can change HH and MM by hand. but after I changed it
    YYYY-MM-DD 11:30 and updated. In browse.jsp the timefield is only YYYY-MM-DD 12:00
I am not sure whether the time only be 12:00
I am pleading for your help!!!

You should change database column type too (only in JDeveloper, it doesn't mind what you have physically inside database) - for example to DATETIME or TIME.

  • Please help: How to replace all data on mid-2010 MacBook Pro 15 with Timemachine backup from 2009 MBP 13

OK so I bought a mid-2010 MacBook pro 15 from a friend and he did not erase anything before he gave it to me. I was previously working on a 2009 MacBook pro 13 and have a Timemachine backup from that which I would like to install on the MBP 15 replacing all of the current data.
I have tried rebooting using the OSX disc that came with the MBP 15 but that won't work - I am assuming that is because the OSX disc is version 10.6.3 while the current OS on the MBP 15 is 10.7.4
What is the best/easiest way to use the Timemachine backup of my MBP 13" to replace all info on the MBP 15"?
This seems like something that should be easy but I have been trying to do it since last night and haven't found relevant info in the discussion forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  • JTEAM please help:how to control VO

Now I want to control VO by programme when necessary.
For example I want to select attributes from entity and renamed the attributes
    when necessary by pragramme.
    Please do give the detail.

I don't understand the question completely.
When building a view object with the BC4J wizards/editor, you can rename the view object-level attributes to anything you want. What more than this are you trying to achieve? It wasn't clear.

A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). If you have movie rentals on the device, see iTunes Store movie rental usage rights in the United States before restoring.
Follow these steps to restore your device:
         1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.
         2. Connect your device to your computer.
         3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
         4. Select the Summary tab.
         5. Select the Restore option.
         6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up
option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not
             necessary to create another.
         7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up,
you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device).
         8. When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple
             logo while starting up:
After a restore, the iOS device displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. For updating
to iOS 5 or later, follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant. For earlier versions of
iOS, keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or
              you see "iPhone is activated."
         9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. If you do not have a
backup to restore, then restore as New.
If you are restoring to fix a forgotten Restrictions Code or as a New device, then skip Step 9 and restore as New.
