JTree renders only 10 records

I have a data model based on toplink and datacotrols were created on the toplink session. When I introduced a jtree bound with a data collection within datacontrol, it rendered only top ten records from the collection. When it is rendered in a jtable, all records were rendered. Any one knows why?

Figured it out. Needs to change the rangesize.

  • JTree rendering bug

    A bug exists with JTree rendering where a huge treenode is rendered for no apparent reason. It happens infrequently, but I've noticed that it's happening more frequently since I started using jdk1.4.2.
    This seems to be the only place I can find mention of it : http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=57&thread=217494
    One of the solutions mentioned was to setRowHeight() on the tree. I don't like it, but it seems to be the only way around the bug at present.
    Does anyone know of any potential problems which might arise from explicitly setting the row height on a JTree?

    I basically need to be able to edit the rendered JTable as normal.

  • How to call function behind the button and update only specific record

    Greetings,
    1 - i wnat to ask few things as i m new to apex, i am using apex 4.1, and created 3 select list and a button in seleting of parameter,
    1 select list : select area
    2 select list: select product
    3- select list - size of the product
    i want to generate Ids for the follwing. for that i created query for INSERTING RECORD FROM ONE TABLE TO ANOTHER , generation the ids when button pressed "Generate" after selecting parameters,
    Now where i call that QUERY on button ? because when i create button its gives me option to submit, defined dynamic action, etc, pls gudie me where i call the function name id_generation when button pressed?.
    2- second thing i creared tabular " select user_id, product_name, product_type from product".
    by defualt check box list are create delete submit button are created, first when i insert record it saves that was fine, e.g i entered 50 records and afterward i want to update only one record, e.g there is a record product name = box, if i change it to box small and click submit then it saves all the page means all 50 records,
    i want to submit only that record that i changed, for that i use the logic that only those records should be updated which are checked but the user. how will i do this ? where to use the preocess , please guide

    If I understand what you are trying to do is correct you could possibly do this by:
    Creating and AFTER INSERT trigger on the table based on the tabular form which inserts the record into a seperate table after the record is inserted something like:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER copy_records
    AFTER INSERT ON table a
    REFERENCING NEW AS NEW OLD AS OLD
    FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
    BEGIN
    INSERT INTO table b
    VALUES :NEW.col1, :NEW.col2 etc......
    END;
    There is also a way that you could do it within the form using a cursor on the tabular form with APEX_APPLICATION.G_ ......

  • Return only one record at a time

    I am new to crystal reports so any help would be appreciated.  I have a .net app that is a order processing system.  When the user is in a record, they want to be able to click on a button an open a crystal report showing only that orders details.  I created a crystal report that has the following fields:
    Order ID, Product ID, Unit Price, Sell Price, Hours.
    The Order ID is the primary key in the database.  The report runs fine when clicking the report button in the app, but returns the details for every order in the database.  We just need the details of the order that the user is processing.  How do I setup the report to only show that order's details?  I am using VB 2005 and Crystal v9.

    Brian,
    Thank you for all your help.  I have been able to setup the report to return only one record at a time. In my app, when I click the report button the PDF opens perfectly with only one record.  However, when I go to another record and open the PDF it returns the information from the record id that was set as the default parameter value (crReportDocument.SetParameterValue("Orders", 67).  How do I get it to return the report for a different record?  Here is the code I'm using.  I think I'm really close with your suggestions but I'm just missing one step.
    #Region "CrystalReport"
         ''' <summary>
         '''Override the CrystalReportButton_Click and call DisplayReportAsPDF_CrystalReportButton function
         ''' </summary>
         Public Sub CrystalReportButton_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
          Dim crReportDocument As CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument = New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument
          Dim fileName As String = "test.rpt"
          Try
              If fileName.Substring(1).StartsWith(":\") Then
              crReportDocument.Load(fileName)
          Else
              crReportDocument.Load(Me.Page.MapPath(fileName))
          End If
          Catch ex As Exception
              Dim errMsg As String = ex.Message.Replace(Chr(13).ToString(), "").Replace(Chr(10).ToString(), "")
              errMsg += " Please make sure the dlls for Crystal Report are compatible with the Crystal Report file."
              BaseClasses.Utils.MiscUtils.RegisterJScriptAlert(Me, "BUTTON_CLICK_MESSAGE", errMsg)
          End Try
          Try
    Dim paramValue As CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterDiscreteValue = New CrystalDecisions.Shared.ParameterDiscreteValue()
               paramValue.Value = "67"
               crReportDocument.SetParameterValue("Orders", 67)
    DisplayReportAsPDF_CrystalReportButton(crReportDocument)
          Catch ex As Exception
              Dim errMsg As String = ex.Message.Replace(Chr(13).ToString(), "").Replace(Chr(10).ToString(), "")
              errMsg += " If this is a deployment machine, make sure network service has permissions to read or write to the windows\temp folder."

  • Dg4odbc 11.2 to mysql desc table issue, query return only one record

    <h2>Hi,
    I have the following set up:
    11g R2 RAC oracle database, dg4odbc 11.2, UnixODBC 2.3 driver manager, MySQL ODBC 5.1.7 Driver on 64 bit Suse SLES 11 server.
    Remote database MySQL version 5.0.67 running on 32 bit linux server.
    I am having the following Issues:
    1. When desc table, sometimes only the first field is shown:
    SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    Some other times I am able to see the correct table definition:
    SQL> desc "sub_index"@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    sess_id NUMBER(10)
    sess_yr NUMBER(10)
    subject_name VARCHAR2(255)
    SQL> desc sub_index@mybilltracker;
    Name Null? Type
    subject_id NOT NULL NUMBER(20)
    2. Select count(*) returns the total number of rows correctly. Select * or Select "field name" from table returns only one row:
    SQL> select count(*) from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker;
    COUNT(*)
    2
    SQL> select "user_id", "email" from "mbt_user"@mybilltracker; _(always return only one record!)_
    user_id email

    Has anybody seen this? Can somebody help me pinpoint the problem? Thank you!

  • I am getting only one record from table data

    Hi Experts,
    I am using interacive forms to bring the table data i used  GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES_TABLE
    method. initially the table is empty when i fill some records more than one it is giving me only one record.
    where as i fill the table in wddoinit more than one record and try to retreived it, showing all the records more than one. waht is the reason.. if i fill manually why it is not bringing all the reocrds.
    i have used the cardinatly as follows
    1. parent node(no tables/structure used)
    Dictionary structure       empty not used
    Cardinality 1..1
    Selection 0..1
    Initialization Lead Selection  Checked
    Singleton    Not checked
    Supply Function  not used
    2. table node(i used table type)
    Dictionary structure    SFLIGHT_LIGHT
    Cardinality 1..n
    Selection 0..n
    Initialization Lead Selection  Checked
    Singleton    Not checked
    Supply Function  not used
    Pleae help me out...
    Thanks,
    Mahesh.Gattu

    hi,
    Use the following code for making the rows editable for a table UI element.
      DATA lo_nd_cn_try TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_el_cn_try TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
      DATA ls_cn_try TYPE wd_this->element_cn_try.
      DATA ls_cn_try1 TYPE wd_this->elements_cn_try.
    navigate from <CONTEXT> to <CN_TRY> via lead selection
      lo_nd_cn_try = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_cn_try ).
    do 5 times.
    clear ls_cn_try.
    append ls_cn_try to ls_cn_try1.
    lo_nd_cn_try->bind_table( ls_cn_try1 ).
    enddo.
    ->  cn_try is the node which is binded with the Table UI element.
    What all this is called as initialization of table. This code will make 5 rows editable, If u want more rows editable then run the loop according to the requirement.
    U can write this code in the WDDOINIT.
    Thanks,
    Pankaj Aggarwal.

  • How to use data in a ResultSet when only one record in set?

    Hi.
    Using a prepared statement which invokes a SELECT * from <table> where <primary key> = <unique value>.
    This is executed and the results sent to a resultSet.
    The only problem is that only one entry is in the resultSet. I want to parse the results and invoke a new class based on the results.
    So I have:
    statement = conn.prepareStatement ("SELECT First_Name, Last_Name, Street, Unit, City, Province, Postal_Code" +
    " from Customer where CustomerID = ?");
    statement.setInt (1, custID);
    rset = statement.executeQuery();
    rset.next();
    cust = new Customer (custID,
    rset.getString ("First_Name"),
    rset.getString ("Last_Name"),
    rset.getString ("Street"),
    rset.getString ("Unit"),
    rset.getString ("City"),
    rset.getString ("Province"),
    rset.getString ("Postal_Code"));
    statement.close();
    rset is a ResultSet. And I'm pretty sure that something like this is WRONG. But one thing I want to know, is there ANY way to properly parse a resultset with only one record?
    Thanks.

    I think I should clarify what I was doing: I'm trying to insert a record into a table, and with the ID that I obtain, use it to retrieve the data.
    I did put a commit in there, but someone suggested that the commit won't work in this scenario.
    Here is bits of the code that I'm using. By the time insertCustomer is invoked, custID is already populated. The insert works because I checked the table afterwards using a sql query and all my entries posted are there.
        private void insertCustomer (HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
        throws ServletException, IOException
            Connection conn = null;
            PreparedStatement statement = null;

  • Sqlldr is loading only 1st record from xml document

    Hi,
    I am trying to load XML doc with multiple records using sql*loader.
    I have registered my XSD perfectly.
    This is my control file
    LOAD DATA
    INFILE *
    INTO TABLE Orders APPEND
    XMLType(xmldata)
    FIELDS(
         xmldata LOBFILE (CONSTANT FULDTL_2.xml)
    TERMINATED BY '???')
    BEGINDATA
    FULDTL_2.xml
    -- Here, what I have to give for TERMINATED BY '???'
    My xml doc
    <Order ID="146120486" Status="CL" Comments="Shipped On 08/05/2008"/>
    <Order ID="143417590" Status="CL" Comments="Handset/Device has been received at NRC" ShipDate=""/>
    sqlldr is loading only 1st record from the file.
    How can I make it to load all the records from my xml doc.
    Thanks in advance.

    thanks for both the replies above - essentially the same correct solution.
    something worth noting now that I've written and tested both a SAX solution and a DOM solution is that there is a significant (4 x) time penalty using SAX.
    I considering dividing the vector I am storing/recovering into chunks and saving each chunk separately using DOM to speed things up...
    any thoughts on this approach?

    In below code I have to loop around 35000 records for every month of the year starting from Aug-2010 to Aug-2011.
    I am using bulk collect with limit clause but the problem is:
    a: Limit clause is returning only 1000 records.
    b: It is taking too much time to process.

  • Only one record is adding

    Hey Experts,
    I Tried loading from many DataSources to different ODS's, but everytime i am facing the same problem, the number of record added is 1.
    like if i have ODS structure with:
    KeyField1, DataField1
    and for these corresponding fields i have 1000 records in R/3 DS, but when i am loading it to ODS, its showing the only record with a single random value of DataFiedl1:
    KeyField1-value= Empty
    DataField1-Value= Some Random vaue from DS Field
    the only single record, no other Records, and no value for KeyField1?
    Any suggestions????

    Hey Dinesh/Eugene,
    Problem is solved.
    By Default it was taking inital value in the key-field of update rules, i have mapped it with correct infoobject, its working fine now.
    Special thanks to Dinesh, for that simulated update. I tried that, and i got the issue.
    Cheers!!!!!!!!!

  • INSERT works for only last record of the Internal table ...??

    I am trying to insert data from an internal table JTAB to a Databse Table
    in CRM. The name of the databse table in CRM is CRMD_PARTNER
    For this i first declared an internal table JTAB with same structure as that of
    the databse table CRMD_PARTNER
    DATA: BEGIN OF JTAB OCCURS 0,
         INCLUDE STRUCTURE CRMD_PARTNER,
          END OF JTAB.
    Then I filled my JTAB with the required entries. For filling the JTAB i am
    getting data from couple of other tables and filling the internal table JTAB
         loop at ktab.
    here i am filling values in JTAB and then i say APPEND JTAB.
            endloop.
         Till here every thing works well and my internal table JTAB has all values that
    I need to insert to the CRMD_PARTNER table. Also my JTAB has vales for all primary key fields.
    Now I write a condition like below.
    if not jtab[] inital.
    MODIFY CRMD_PARTNER from TABLE JTAB.
    COMMIT WORK.
    endif.
    Here comes the problem...once this code is executed and once program totally executes...
    i always see that only last record in JTAB is being inserted to the databse table CRMD_PARTNER.
    When i check in the debugger ..i see that the loop is being executed only once
    and the SY-TABIX of JTAB is being always set to the length of JTAB and
    that is why only last  record is being inseretd to the table CRMD_PARTNER.
    Now what should i do ..to insert all records of JTAB to CRMD_PARTNER table?
    is there a way i can restet the SY-TABIX and make the modify statement work for all records of JTAB?
    Finally i hardcoded the values in JTAB then i dont have any problem and all records of JTAB are being
    inserted into the database table.
    only if i am dynamically fetching the values into JTAB(by Putting in loop..endloop statements and
    pushing values to JTAB and APPENDING JTAB ) i have a problem .
    in this case also my JTAB is being correctly filled with values ..but when i try to
    insert theses values to CRMD_PARTNER with MODIFY stmt ..only always last record is being inserted.
    i tried with INSERT instead of MODIFY and i am getting runtime error.
    kindly pease help.

    yes a@s i am really struggling from last 3 days.
    I actually want to create a sales order in CRM and want to
    assign ship to party for each line item in a sales order in CRM
    for that i used the standard bapi BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI and i am able
    to create an order successfully, but i see that the ship toparty
    that i give at header is being copied to each line item.
    but this is not what is expected.
    So finally i tracked in which table the ship to party gets stored in each line item
    and then tried to insert the records directly into databse. and it worked
    but only if i am hardcoding..but not when i am dynamically fecthing the values into JTAB for insertion,
    Can yoy help ..if you have any idea why insert/modify is processing only last record?
    any help will be highly appreciated.
