Jump Query in RRI

Hi,
After executing the query, user had selected the required filters. Now, based on this filters he is jumping to another query (Goto -> QueryName).
Receiver query works fine based on the filters which he had selected in sender query.
Now, our requirement is user should not be allowed to change or remove any filters in the receiver query. Can anyone please advise.
Thanks
Ramesh Ganji.

Hi,
You can achive the disable mode for the query. But only thing is, you have to use WAD for your receiver query. There is no difference between query and WAD in RRI. Instead of choosing <i>BW BEx Query</i>, you have to choose <i>BW Web Application</i>. I will tell the steps from the scratch. Proceed according that.
1. Create Your Sender Query. (Already You have created.)
2. Create Your Receiver Query. (Already You have created.)
3. Create WAD. Drag table object in WAD. Assign your Receiver Query to that table object.
4. In the WAD property choose <i><b>No Display</b></i> for the following options.
i) Keep Filter Value
ii) Fix Filter Value to Axis
iii) Select Filter Value
iv) Remove Drildown
5. Save the WAD.
6. Goto RSBBS. Chose your sender query. Create new RRI. Choose BW Web Application. Give your WAD name. Save it.
That's it............ It will work fine.

  • RRI Jump Query opens the receiver query in standard Template??

    Hi,
Few questions from me (Note I have searched the forum database for answers but didnt get a convincing answer)
    1) How can I use 1 web custom built template for 2 different queries?
    2) I have created the sender receiver setting for the Jump queries. The problem that I am facing is that the sender query uses the custom built web template but when I use GOTO the receiver query instead of using the custome template it executes in standard webtemplate. Kindly suggest how can I open the receiver query in the custom built web template after GOTO function.
Thanks for all your help in advance..
    - Amit

    Hi SS,
I agree to the statement that RRI uses link to Query but if we setup the custom web template for that jump query in WAD....it will never open in that template via RRI ???
That very disappointing discovery for me !!!
Any other possiblity to make this work????
What if I have the sender and receiver query web template(custom) same???.is it possbile to use the same template for these two template even after jump ???

  • RRI - pulling all customers info for jump query

    Folks,
I have created a RRI from query Q1 (Order information for all customers) to query Q2 (Detailed Invoice information at Customer level) also I have created a Variable on Customer in query Q2. My intention is when I right click on the customer from query Q1,  I wanted my jump query to display only Invoice detail information for that customer _intead it is showing for all customers._
If I executed my Q2 seperately with a selected customer then I can only seeing Invoice detail information for that customer.
    Please share your thoughts...
    Thanks,
    KK

    Hi Kumar,
What U r done is correct but u want under each customer order drill down to all invoices, anyway by using rsbbs u r getting the second query .aginn that variables also excutes in q2 . but u want drilldown particular to the customorder. pls try with  in second query on customer order number create the heirarchy with invoices and keep nodedisplay level as 1 in charactarstic properties of customer order number, because in ordertype drilldown given for oredrs it is also RRI report only I think It will Works pls try.
    Thanks

  • Selection Screen pop up issue - with jump query RRI

    Hi Experts,
I am facing one issue regarding Jump Query(RRI) functionality.
I have one query and also one drill down query.
I need to jump from the first query to the drill down query.
To achieve this , I have added the first query as sender in RSBBS T-Code and added the drill down query as Receiver.
I have also done the variable assignment from the Assignment Details tab.
Now the Jump functionality is working.
But , whenever I am jumping to the receiver query , The selection screen pop up is appearing.
I don't want this selection screen to appear during jump.
Please help me in this regard.
    Thanks,
    Biswarup

    Hi ,
For testing purpose , I have used a single query as sender as well as receiver query.
So , the characteristics set is same.
The query is a simple query, with only one input variable.
and I have assigned it, from variable assignment.
But still the selection screen pop up is coming , when trying to jump.
    Please suggest.

    Biswarup

  • Jump Query (RRI) Problem: not showing particular record......

    Hi
In BI, i have 2 queries and implementing Jump query so that after selecting 1 material from 1st query should give me details of that particular material in second query.
But in my case, i am getting details of all the materials and not the details of particular material from 1st material.
Might be i am doing some mistake at RSBBS level.
In RSBBS assigment level i am using:
    InfoObject = Material
    Type = InfoObject
    Field Name = 0Material
Selection Type = Parameter (i tried everything here like single value, selection option)
could u pls. let me know how can i solve it.
    Thanks....

    Hi,
First Goto RSBBS and Give your query name that means which query is sender then in next tab give your infoprovider name
then click on create button it ask the receiver query give your send query. When your run the sender query select any row click on right click it shows your send query name click on that it's goto next query.
    Thanks

  • How to monitor the values transferred to the jump query in a debug mode?

    Dear experts,
There is a problem in the interface of two qeuries. In the first query, the infoobject is defined as a global filter with a constant. I added this infoobject in the interface via RSBBS.
Nevertheless, if i run the jump query, the value in this InfoObject is not taken into account by the jump query.
Does anybody know whether there is a method to debug (monitor) the values tranferred to the jump query? For example, in the transaction RSRT or others.
    Thanks in advance!

in RSRT- EXECUTE+DEBUG => breakpoint in RRI transpormations

  • Jump Query not working

    Hello Gurus,
I have a problem with Jump query. When i open query in Bex Analyzer and when i right click and goto i can see two queries there. But when i click on any query it opens the complete list of queries to search for.
I checked against RSBBS when i feed the sender query name in Text box and enter i can see 2 receiver query below. which confirms me that it is configured corrrectly so why im not able to jump to receiver query please suggest me.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated with Points
    Thanks
    Mahesh

    HI MAhesh,
    Have u done this .....
This steps for RRI i.e report to Report Interface !!!!!!
    T Code -RSBBS.
    Report A-Jump to report B.
    Report B-Is Employee Based
Assume u want call report B from Report A
    1)GOTO RSBBS
    2)Create New
3)Sender Query Give the First Query Report A
4)Below sender Query there is Receiver Query  give the RRI query report B (The query which u want to call).Report type should be BEX ,and Target system--Assign the System(Local) and in the report give the Report B.
5)In the Report A check whether in the GOTO -u get the Receiver Query ,i.e Report B
The Input Variable of Query No 1 will become as the Filter to the Query No 2 and That is the Default propoerty of RRI.
Hence in TCODE RSBBS ,in the Assignment TAB please set that Infoobject on which u have built the variable to DELETE mode instead of Generic and then try.
Pl let us know the settings for the assignments in the  RSBBS .

  • Passing Multiple Single Values from Sender Query to Receiver Query in RRI

    Dear All.
    We have 2 - Bex Reports ZBEX_1 & ZBEX_2
    1. In ZBEX_1 having the fileds data like the below.
Account Doc. Number - Clearing Document --- Amount
    12345                  -  65432                --- 100
    12346                  -  54321               ---  50
    2. In ZBEX_2 having the following data.
    Account Doc.Number -- Amount
    45342                     - 10
    66666                        -  100
    65432                       -   10
    54321                      - 5
    3. I am Traying to create RRI Between ZBEX_1 & ZBEX_2 , with Sender query as ZBEX_1 and Receiver query as ZBEX_2
If I drilldown from ZBEX_1 need to show the following output in the ZBEX_2
    Account Doc. Number  -  Amount
    65432                       -     10
    54321                      -     5
i.e If Clearing Documnet in the ZBEX_1 is same as Account Doc. Number in ZBEX_2 those Account Doc. Numbers I have to show in the output of ZBEX_2 RRI Report.
Both the records I have to show at a time.
    So please suggest me
    1. How to pass Multiple Single Values to Next Query using RRI
    2. How to Map Clearing Document to Account Doc. Number in RRI.
NOTE: Account Doc. Num length is same as Clearing Document
    Please suggest me.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Kiran Manyam

Your scenario of passing values from multiple records in Source does not suit well for RRI Jumps.
In ZBEX_2 query, create a Replacement path variable on Clearing Document. In that Replacement path variable, use the Replacement with query option and choose the ZBEX_1 as the underlying query source.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/bd/589b3c494d8e15e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
When you execute ZBEX_2, what ever clearing document values that ZBEX_1 has will be passed through the replacement path variable as a filter to the ZBEX_2
    Hope it helps!

  • Jump Query

In my sender query(Sales Cube) I have variable as order creation date (I enter a range as 01/01/2006 to 01/10/2006) and do a jump to get the details of delivery dates (delivery Cube), now the issue is delivery can be as early as 01/01/2006 to current date, but in the report it filters to only 01/01/2006 to 01/10/2006. How to resolve? Urgent
    Regards
    Kunal

    Hi Kunal,
I assume you are using RRI for the jump query.
In the screen named "Maintain Sender/Receiver Assignment", you can change the mapping of the filter to make it a one-sided (less than or equal to) filter.
    Hope this helps.

I have to create a jump query to an R/3 transaction. The I/O 'Object key' in the BW corresponds to the r/3 field OBJKY of the NAST table. After trying out all the possibilities/ assignments in RSBBS also its not working.
Can anybody pls guide me how to implement BADI for this jump query(RRI for Transaction).
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sandy.

    Hi Sandy,
What is the problem you are experiencing exactly?
What I had to do was in the Assignment Details choose Type "3 Table Field" for the infoobject in the query you want to pass to the transaction then fill in the field name for the source table and the fields data element and domain values.
You will also need authorisation to transaction RSRR_WEB in the source for this to work.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers
    Craig

  • Multiple value selection from a base query to jump query in Web

    Hi ,
    System info
    SAP BW 3.5               level-9
    PI_BASIS -2004_1_640     level-8
    SAP_ABA  -640            Level-11
    SAP_BASIS-640            Level-11
We have an inventory query with Profit Center,Plant & Material as characteristic. When we run the query, for example we get 10 materials for a plant. We want to keep those materials as filter value for material & want to jump to another query. The Jump query will only execute for those selected materials.
We can able to do the above scenario in BW BEx analyzer but we are not able to do in the web. Any input to resolve the issue are welcome.
    example
    Query A
    Profit Center     Plant  Material
    PC12345          P542     M1
    PC12345          P542    M2
    PC12345          P542    M3
    PC12345          P542     M4
    PC12345          P542     M5
    PC12345          P542     M6
    PC12345          P542     M7
    PC12345          P542     M8
    PC12345          P542     M9
    PC12345          P542     M10
Select M1 to M10 & right click "Keep filter value"
Then remove Material from the drilldown.
    The query looklike this:
    Query A
    Material M1....M10
    Profit Center     Plant
    PC12345          P542
Then right click on P542 "Goto" jump query B.
Query B get executed on those selected materials(M1...M10) as we have a material variable in query B which is mandatory.
In a nut we are selecting more then one value & going to another query.
    Regards
    Mahendra

when u select KEEP FILTER VALUE at tat instance u can select only 1 value
HOW DID U SELECT   M1 & M10 bot within one hit.
instead of using this option.... did u try restriction
wat i mean is when u know before hand that u need only m1 & m10
remove material first from the display
it will automatically reside in Free chars
right click material and hit RESTRICT
    select m1 &  m10
    hit okey
now u will see desired result...
    now try jump query...
try removing the material variable from query b , just for experiementing purpose
    and then repeat above exercise...
let us know how u go with it

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    Whats your R/2 WAS version?
Delete the entries from the TWPURLSVR table and maintain it in RSBBS_RSRR_URL where you can store the full URL and dont have to worry about the different fields.
If 620 then you will need a standalone ITS and the URL can be maintained in the format below.
    http://<server port>/scripts/wgate/webgui/!?client=100&transaction=RSRR&
    For WAS 640 and above.
    http://<server port>//sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?
