Jumped to next page eventhough first page's main window not full

Dear All expert,
I meet a problem that my script form sheet jumped into next page even though the first page is not full.
I checked in script there is not any new-page command.
Do you have any suggestion?

Hi,
There could be many reason for this.
Please check the followings.
1. Page protection command is not used.
2. size of main window
try to debug the script and find the exact reason.

Making a page the first page od the application

Go to shared components > Security attributes > amend the home link to add your page number

CP1025 wrong colors or blank pages after first page

Hello,
Our company have 3 cp1025 printers. 2 of them get a problem (almost at same time) which can be described like this:
-printing wrong colors, colors are mixed, for example indeed black color prints blue and it is colorless. This does not happen for first page, further pages only.
-printing blank pages. First page always printed perfectly, further pages are blank.
We can't find a problem. Tried to change new drum, drivers, we are working on Win XP and Win 7. Can you say something about this problem?

Second page main window not triggered

hi
i have two pages, a main window in each page.
the data in the main window of the first page is diaplaying.
But the data in the main window of the second page is not displayed.
However the other secondary windows of the second page is
getting displayed.
any reason y???????

Generally if we copy the first page as is to second page there wont be any problem. U can just specify the next page as second page. U can not have two main windows in smart form. It should be copied from the first page or the next page for page should be first page.
If there is any other page u have, then u have to call it dynamically.
Change your form like this, and it may solve ur problem

I have three pages where on second pages main window so my data many be carry on next 3, 4, pages and my requirement is to display data(like notes ) on last page after all contain of main window .that last third page is different formatting on basis of company code lets 10 different pages. On second page in main window I write u2018commandu2019 and General Attributes, Tick Go to new page in. On the Determine the new page using the list box next to the checkbox. The output of the main window will continues on the new page of third pages. I did this for my all company like (command for 10 , command for 11u2026.).BUT also on second page option of next page in General Attributes. Where in can maintain next pages entry is single...if I put blank the error comesu2026thingu2019s 1) what should I have to maintain in second page for next page.
2) how I get data from multiple page design (I design 10 pages from that I want one should display):- I used condition option in command for company still getting error .
So kindly help me for such scenario.

there is no loop or table node in main window and I specify the next page of the first page to be "blank", can it only print one page(first page)?

Smart Forms: No next page when MAIN-Window is full

Hi you SmartForms-Experts,
i've got a SmartForm for Purchase Order. This SmartForm breaks with a error message when the MAIN-window on page "FIRST" is filled up and some more positions should appear in the MAIN-window on page "NEXT".
The following page for page "FIRST" is "NEXT" and the following page for page "NEXT" is "NEXT".
The printing program is a customer-copy of SAPFM06P, entry is "ENTRY_NEU".
There is another window that is to be processed at the end of MAIN-window. I first thaught, that this is the problem, but it doesn't matter if it is deleted oder processed "before end" of the MAIN-window oder "after end".
I debugged my smartform several times, but only saw the errors occur and did not recognize why.
MAIN-window has got the same width on page "FIRST" and on page "NEXT".

thank you for your answer. I solved the problem yesterday in the late evenening. It was similiar to your answer.
There are some other windows in my smartform besides of "MAIN" that are copied from page "FIRST" to "NEXT". One of them was smaller (width) than the original on first page. And therefore it could not be processed.
I learned: Never change another programmers Smartform, even he left the company three years ago. Try to make your own Form.

Firstly, there's no such thing as Apache 9.3, there's Apache 1 (and subversions) and Apache 2 (and subversions). Your error message -
Oracle-HTTP-Server/1.3.28Shows you're using Apache 1.3.28
Secondly, I'm confused by your comment -
I do not have Apache 9.3 or higher but I think oracle should offer this in its companion CDOracle does offer the Apache server, if you're saying you didn't get it from Oracle then where did your Apache server come from?
Thirdly, I notice from your config file -
ErrorLog "|E:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Companion\Apache\Apache\bin\rotatelogs logs/error_log 43200"That you're piping the logs through rotatelogs, are you sure the logfiles haven't just been renamed?

Master page for first page of chapter?

I want to make sure I am using the right approach.
I have a 150 page book with 12 chapters. Most of the pages in the book have page number and running heads with the chapter name at the top of the page. That is working OK. For the 12 pages that start a chapter, I don't want the running head at the top - only the page number appears at the bottom of the page.
Master pages, right? I started with all pages as "A" pages and then assigned the 12 pages for the beginning of the chapter to be "B" pages. Looks great.
But then the project manager comes along and asks me to try the book in 12 point instead of 11 point. I edit a few paragraph styles. Everything repaginates, and now I have to find the 12 places where a chapter starts, change it from "A" to "B" master page, then find the old 12 pages that previously started a chapter and change them from "B" back to "A".
Every time he freaking changes his mind, I am fixing 24 pages (OK - 22 pages, since the first page stays in place). Am I missing something really obvious - is there a way to say "Every time there is a Chapter Title paragraph style, that page should be assigned "B" Master Style?". I realize I could use an INDB with 12 INDD files inside, but that seems like overkill for a small book.

I think there are some scripts floating around here onthe forum that will assigne a master based on the paragraph style, but my personal approach is to break the document into individual stories (not different docs, just different text threads, for each story) for each chapter. If you do that, any editing effects will be confined to the last page in each chapter.

In Pages the first page of all my documents show the pages user guide. How can I reinstate my documents. They are still on my iPhone

Help Please! All my numerous documents in Pages have recently altered, so that there are no contents other than the face page, which is the Pages User Guide page. Ie Showing the pen and ink bottle. I think this was brought about by me trying to see if I could print the Guide Pages!!! (To no avail)!

Smart forms--In different pages i require two different main windows

In one smartform, I am having two pages. and two pages are having different formats
First page will print repeatedly till the completion of main window1.
Now i want to add another main window(2) to second page, it will also should print repeatedly till the completeion of main window(2).
But in first page main window contains 5 coloumns with subtotal
in second page main window contains 3 columns without subtotal
Both main windows are using same internal table.
can anybody help me in this issue.
If i copy first page main window into second page as main window with diferrent name, then it is showing blank window with out any text why?

Try to do it like this, separate the data in internal table to two different tables, since data should be printed on two different formats...
Design two page in your smartform according to the requirment. now goto first page and set the next page as FIRST
now goto second page that you have created and set the next page as SECOND.
loop the first internal table in first page and once all the entries are finished, try to goto second page for doing this place command and tick the check box in command, goto next page and select the page as Second...
I guess this will solve your issue.

Smartforms : Second Page Main Window not being called

Hi All,
The smartform has 2 different pages, with totally different layout.
This also include that the Main window of both pages are different, having 2 different tables to fetch data.
The main window width sizes are the same on both the pages.
I have already used the Command node to call the second page, which it does.
The problem I am facing now is that the Secondary windows on page2 gets displayed, but the main window does not get displayed.
I have put a break-point in the code of main window of Page2. When executing this, it does not get triggered at all.
Now if I change the attribute of this main main window to secondary window and then I execute it then it gets triggered and gets displayed.
I have to keep this window as the main window as there might be chances of data overflow which should then continue printing on the next pages, therefore I cannot make it as the secondary window.
Please tell why the Main Window is not being called? (Note: Size of Main Windowin Page2 is same as main window in Page1)
I have searched the SDN already and did not find a solution to resolve this problem.

Hi All,
I have got the solution to this probelm.
In Page1 Main Window I have Table1 and a command node to Goto Page2.
Just after this command node I have added Table2 which earlier was the table in Main window of Page2.
So currently the Main window in Page2 has nothing included in it.
Anything after Command gets printed into the next page. Table2 is a part of Main Window in Page1 which gets printed into Main window of Page2.

Calling pages and more than 1 main window

I am designing a Smartform.It contains 2 sections.In 1st section
page1 contains only templates and no main window.On page2 i have
4 dynamic tables which i have included in main window.If the data
is large content of page2 extends to page3.Now the 2nd section begins.I
have to display details of various materials. page4 again contains
templates and no main window.Page5 contains again 4 dynamic tables
and if the data is large it can extend to page6.Ideally these 4 tables
should be included in main window.but i already have 1 main window in
page2.As per my knowledge in 1 smartform there can be only 1 main window.
So please suggest any way to do this.
1 more thing.....
As i said in 2nd section i am displaying details of materials-- page4,
page5,page6 display details of only 1 material.These 3 pages--page4,page5
page6 should repeat for other materials also.
How do i achieve this.

The Solution can be achieved but in a different way.
Let the First Page be fired as ur default page and at the end of the first page call the command to go to the 2nd Page.
In the 2nd Page call the Main Window once and print the information for the first Table, this is fine.
After that comes the Second Section, in this i hope that you a single table for printing the material Specific data, the number of lines that can be displayed in a A4 page is approx 70, so you can find out the number of lines remaining to be printed in the page for the table and print data conditionally based on this data.

Pages 09 opening to a Finder Window - not the Pages new docuemnt screen?

I have a NEW 2012 iMAC - all the latest software. Pages 09 opens always to a Finder window, not the Pages 09 new document screen. How can I get Pages 09 to skip the finder window when I open Pages and go directly to the Pages new document page? In summary, I want to skip the Finder window that's opening every time I click on Pages in my dock and go directly to the Pages new document screen.

Can we take that to mean that the iCloud threat to delete stuff from my Mac was an idle threat? And the iCloud bully is really a wimp?
