Jumping to an IMG Activity in a different system

Hello,
I´m writing a report where several data fields from tables are shown. When I click on them, I want to go to the IMG activity where the corresponding tables are modified.
Do you know how I can realize this? Moreover, there is the problem that the IMG activities are partially in a different system...

    Hi all,
    within a documentation e.g. for data elements it is possible to create links to different object types (documentation of report, data elements, function modules etc.). It is also possible to define a link to IMG activities or more precisely to Implementation Guide chapters (SIMG).
    Doing this will lead the user to the node within the IMG structure after clicking this link. Usually this works fine. But now in my case I would like to link to IMG activity SIMG_CFMENUOLMEOMF4 to lead the user to the special point Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level. But unfortunately does the activity also links to the screen layout definition for RFQ/Quotation.
    That means, when the user clicks the link, than the activity for RFQ/Quotation will be displayed. But I want SAP to navigate to the PO tree. The activities have different IDs, but are linked to the same document. I guess, that this is the reason for this behaviour.
    Does anybody know a way to navigate directly to the mentioned activity within the PO tree?
    Any help is very appreciated.

    I don't want to enhance the IMG structure. I just want to insert a link to the IMG node in my documentation.
    Example:
    Transaction SE61 -> Document class = General text -> Name = ZZ_TEST -> Create
    Within the editor choose Insert -> Link -> Document class = Implementation Guide chapter (SIMG) -> Chapter = SIMG_CFMENUOLMEOMF4 -> Name in document = PO screen layout
    Back in the editor choose Document -> Screen output
    When the output appears click the link -> SAP will navigate to the RFQ subtree in customizing, but I need that SAP navigates to the PO subtree.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
    We are looking for a simple & practical way to calculate a standard cost estimate for a material using activity prices from different CO plan version.
    In the valuation variant of the costing variant the CO plan version is determined from where the activity prices are taken, eg version 0
    So, we want to cost the same material using the activity prices of a different plan version, eg 90, or 91 ... but without using a different costing variant per CO plan version(so without having to create/customize a separate costing variant per CO plan version)
    Is this possible? 
    Can we use costing versions in this respect?

    This configuration will be done for the first time  in case of Realization phase of implem. project.
    It is will be used to copy the basic configuration settings (catalogs, no.ranges etc.,) inorder to carry out the business transactions.
    As mentioned in the help, the following below basis settings will be copied. All these settings will not be available for the new server before the execution of this setting.
    QCCC  All standard settings like
    With catalogs
    With standard texts
    Without number ranges
    Without sampling systems
    Without tolerance keys
    Without forms
    QCCP  Standard settings for quality planning

    I am adding a new IMG step by changing IMG structure and create a new activity under one existed node.
    In the Change IMG activity page, there are 3 tabs-Document, Attribute and Maint. objects for assigned objects.
    In Attribute tab, there are attribute ID and name, assigned application components. What are their function? How can I get their value?

  • Dump in IMG Activity BBP_TRIGGER_PO_COND Condition-Dependent Document Outpu

    I'm getting short dump when executing IMG activity BBP_TRIGGER_PO_COND (Condition-Dependent Document Output) with message "CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND".
    We are on SRM Server 5.5 pack 12.
    Anybody had this problem too? Is there an SAP Note available?

    Hi! I had the same problem as well. Did you manage to find a solution to this? I just resolved it by
    1.     Run transaction code SPPFCADM.
    2.     Under u2018PPF: Applications in Customizingu2019, select the entry u2018BBP_PDu2019.
    3.     Check all the options in the u2018Clean Up Inconsistenciesu2019 box and confirm by choosing the u2018Clean Up Inconsistenciesu2019 pushbutton.
    4.     Refer to SAP Note 564826 for details.
    5.     You can now access the configuration with the runtime error.
    6.     By default, the action definition for print and mail is STOP. Delete the stop flag manually (right-click to choose option).

  • Different activity type for different capacity category in a work center

    Multiple capacity categories can be created in a work center like
    Engineer
    Sr. Engineer
    Architect
    Rates for all of them will be different (obviously) , however we can only have 1 activity type as default in a work center . We intend to 'HR assignment' corresponding to each capacity category . how can we have multiple activity type for different capacities (Engineer , architect etc).

    I want to assign separate IMG activity profile to all modules which are related to only customization.
    e.g For SD module --- Only SD customization Authorization
          For MM module --- Only MM customization Authorization
    1. Is there any standard role or profile for this.
    2. If we make separate profile for all module, whether it affect(authorization problem) during system integration phase.

    You describe a problem in BASIS, which is independent of the operating system you run on.
    Imagine if you posted this question into support. The component would not be
    BC-OP-NT, but BC-ABA-somewhat.

  • Active - Workprocess config differs from opmode spec

    I configed CCMS monitoring of Instance Status with RZ20.  A few days later, I adjust the number of btc with RZ04. Then I received lots of alters after I adjusted the NO. of btc. The alter is Active - Workprocess config differs from opmode spec. I check the system with RZ03. it showed Work processes differ in  Configuration alerts.
    The system comes back to normal if I adjust the number of BTC processes back. The problem is that I also adjusted the number of btc processes of instance called GVSHG501_HG5_30, and it did not show Work processes differ. So I can not find the reason lead to the issue. Can anyone help me.

    When you change the number or background work processes in RZ04 you need to activate the distribution for that application server.
    Tx RZ03 - Control - Switch Operation Mode - Selected servers.
    If you want to permanently modify the background work process then you need to modify the value for the parameter rdisp/wp_no_btc in the profile.

  • Monitoring changes of SD IMG activity

    Dear All,
    Just wanted to know that how we can come to know if any changes done in the values of IMG activity. For example suppose in the sales order type control anybody make changes to no. range assignement & save the request with irrelevent discription then how do we know from which ID the changes are done & when. Another example is suppose the a new table entry is done, change or deleted from IMG then how we can trace it.?
    Please answer with all available options for tracking such activity.

    For any changes done in the IMG activity you can check the changes through the change logs in the utilities menu and then click on change logs and then enter the from date to end date and then execute ,then the system will execute the number changes done according to that configuration with the comparison of old one and new one with ID who was created.
    So according to that date you can track the request and can check in that request for that particular table entries.

    Hello Archana,
    One way is to go in IMG by module-wise and searching for it manually...
    To create an implementation of the BADI we can go to Se19...give a name and give create ..and when the definitopn window pops up..give the name of the BADI for which the implemetation needs to be done....(Pls check in Se18 if the BADI exists...also there are some cases where an implementation of a BADI cannot be done since the BADI is for SAP use only or if the BADI doesnot support multiple instances)
    Please can you revert the requirement for the check using IMG Activity..since we can create implementations through se19 (because we already have a BADI name)

    Gavin,
    For asynchronous cases, you should adopt the "wait and trigger" principle.  In BPM, you can acheive it by using a timer and an automated activity. Set the timer repeat time to say 15 mins (you should change it as per your business scenario), and then execute / trigger an automated activity, which will call your Bid system to check the state (whether the data entry / specific workflow is over). If the state is completed, (you may check using exclusive choice), move to next step. Else, pass back the control to timer which will again make the process wait. This way the objective could be attained.
