Jumping Workset Problem

Hi all,
I have one role Role1 under which I have 4 worksets say Workset1, Workset2, Workset3, Workset4 displayed as tabs in same order. All the pages in all worksets show preview without any error.
Now when I start the browser and click on the Workset3 it works fine. Now after this if I click on Workset2 or Workset4 and when I click again on the Workset3 it jumps to Workset1 i.e. the first workset in the role.
Has anbody faced same problem before?

I have two of my pages that are deeper with content than the others, Case Studies and Management Team. These are the two pages that seemingly jump slightly when viewed with IE. No problem in FF.
Generally to fix the problem I add this code to the top of the style sheet: html, :root { overflow-y:scroll; }
This time, it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Dynamic Jump Menu Problem in CS3

I'm trying to create a link in a Jump Menu to a Detail Page.php by setting the parameters in the menu item to match a value in a recordset. When selected from the menu, a new page should open with a subset of the original php page. So far I haven't found a method to transfer a value in the menu to a url parameter which can be used by the target php page. Any suggestions appreciated.

Nevermind. I was over-thinking the problem and adding dynamic parameters, when a simple solution was all that was required.

Jump / Skipping Problem

I wonder if anyone could help me. I have a 4GB Nano which I purchased about 18 months ago. Everything has been fine until recently. Sometimes when I listen to a track, the iPod starts skipping/jumping. It doesn't skip tracks and it doesn't jump to the next track either. It simply jumps/skips within the track that is playing at the time. The tracks will start to play and then suddenly it will jump to a random point in the song. The jumping/skippig continues until I press stop or until I skip to the next track. Has anyone else experienced this before and what should I do? Should I reset/restore the iPod?

Hey my ipod Nano is doing almost the same thing. I also have a 4gb that is also skipping but it skips numerous songs all at once, and doen't even play the selection at all. It will just keep skipping till it does play a song..... I Konw how you feel.. I hope we can get this problem fixed. Just to let ya know I have tried to restar my nano but it still doesn't work for me.. If you need to know how to reset ur ipod:
1. slide the Hold switch to HOLD and then back to OFF HOld
2. Then Press the Menue & Center Button at the same time until the Apple Logo appers...

Jump Backwards Problem...

I have 5 Tracks each with 4 chapter markers
When you press Start, the whole things goes with storys and shows up like a seamless film. The start button is linked to the story of the first track end at the end it jumps to the story of the next track via script with a jump command.
So far...so fine it works. When i skip forward it proceeds throug the storys.
The problem is, when i want to jump backwards. That only applys within the story, so when i am in the 3th story and press backwards it goes only to the begin of the story but not to the story before (2nd).
somebody got an idea how to solve this? can it be done with storys? or is there some other way to skip backwards?

this is standard. like when you skip forward on an audio CD, you go to the next track. When you skip back, you go to the beginning of the same track. This is because the start of the track you are on is the first marker seen when shuttling backwards. Since you know scripting, you just need to make one for jumping back 2 spots.

ESS Personnal Information workset Problem.

Hi all,
We are working on mySAP ERP 2004 60.2 version of ESS.We have successfully installed the business package. But there is strange problem.
In the personnal information workset we have only part of data visible whereas the rest of them are not.
Do any of them know how to resolve it.our BP is deployed on the same J2EE engine of portal (SP 12). The backend is ECC 5 and WAS is 640.
Is backend has to be configured to fetch the rest of the data or portal side has some problem?
Any help will be appreciated.

K7N2 Delta-L Jumper J11 problems!

Hi,
i am having problems getting my 2800+ chip to run at speed.
i have got the j11 jumper set to 133/166 fsb. When i take my J10 jumper off safe mode onto user mode 133MHz my computer will start, but the moniter satys blank and the computer just hangs there. When running on safe mode the processor runs at 2200+.
i am fairly sure its not my PSU as i bought a new thermaltake silent 420W, which runs at:
+5V 3.3V 12V
40A 30A 18A
which should be up to the job...

Jump menu problems in IE

Hello,
I am having trouble with the Dreamweaver Jump Menu. I have
set up a basic page, used the Insert: Form: Jump Menu to navigate
to different pages. It works fine in all browsers with or without
the "Go" button, but it never works in IE 6 or 7. Is this a common
issue with the Jump Menu? Is there some bit of code I need to add
to make it work in IE? I can post my code in here if necessary;
just thought I'd check to see if it was an easy fix first.

Jump Query problem

Is there any way where I can come back to source query from my jump query ?
E.g , I have executed one query and from there I jumped to detail level query . Now I want to come back the source query from the same screen .
Let me know how to do this ?

1)Just Right Click on the Screen and then Cllick on the One Step Navigation Back
It will take u to the previous Screen.

Pdf view : jumping back problem ?

Hello. I've been having an issue lately where i view pdfs on Acrobat.com, and when i drag the sliders up, the page first jumps to its top, then slides normally from where it should be.
Correct behaviour while dragging sliders to the bottom : pages flow one after the other smooth.
Same thing is awaited the other way. But here, if i drag fast, my window will "blink" with a subliminal of the full page i'm reading...
who can i contact to send this as a private file (document is not mine and can't share on an open forum, and i didn't find a bug form)

Jump menu problem

I am a new user of Dreamweaver and setting up my first jump
menu. I believe I have followed directions properly, but when I
view my jump menu in the browser and try to have one of my list
values transfer to the designated URL - nothing happens. I went
into the Behaviors section and tried onclick to see if that would
work - nothing. I then recreated the jump menu and tried the 'go'
button. That didn't work either. Does anyone have any other
suggestion? I am working on a PC with Windows XP.

Worksets problems after upgrade to SP12

Hello, since we upgraded our EP 7.0 to SP12, our users can´t see all the contents they have to.
For example, we have a workset called "Documents", if you are a
final user you will see one iView in this workset for "View Docs", but if you are a "chief" you will see the same as the final user( because you inherit that rol) and you should see another iView to "Edit Docs" that belongs to your rol "chief". But, the iView for Editing Docs, doesn´t appear since we installed SP12.ALL the users only see the worksets, and iviews assigned to "Final User" and can´t see specific information assigned to their roles.
Something strange happening is that we have a implemented a SiteMap iView, and all the Iviews and worksets APPEAR CORRECTLY! Thanks in advance.

Hi David, from SP11.
I recentrly did another test, i configured the TLN to show level 1 and level 2; and also configured de Detailed Navigation to show level 2 and level 3.
This is what happened:
Let´s suppose i click in work:
The TLN shows:
Level 1:      Home | Work | etc....
Level 2:    | Documents | MyStaff    |
The Detailed Navigation Shows:
Documents
                                                             |= ViewDocs
MyStaff
                                                             |=Send Msg
                                                             |= ....
But if i click in Documents (level 2 of TLN) the Detailed Navigation Shows:
Documents
                                                             |= ViewDocs
                                                             |=
EditDocs
MyStaff
                                                             |=Send Msg
                                                             |= ....
As you can see it shows "EditDocs" as it should...

Weird page jumping down problem

Hi guys, I've made a site in dreamweaver here: http://cjhildrethconsultancyltd.yorkcreative.co.uk
it's all lined up nicely until you click on the Contact link at the top and then the page shifts down and the buttons at top are no longer visible! i can't see any reason in dreamweaver or code why (it's still lined up the same within dreamweaver)

Here are some errors I turned up in Chrome Developer tools on the Contact Us page:
contactcjhconsultancy.html:50<p> is not allowed inside <tbody>. Inserting <p> before the <table> instead.
contactcjhconsultancy.html:51Unmatched </td> encountered. Ignoring tag.
contactcjhconsultancy.html:52Unmatched </tr> encountered. Ignoring tag.
Those errors do not occur on the index page, which leads me to believe they might be the cause of the drop.

Jumping cursor as I type

I just recieved my new PB today and havne't been able to use it because of the jumping cursor problem when I am trying to type. When I type my hands are elevated at about 1/2 an inch over the track pad. As I type in both Entourage and Word, my mouse will suddenly register a click and move my cursor to where ever my mouse is sitting, usually a few lines above. sometimes it will select the text to above the line and as I continue to type it will over write the content.
I have seen another posting about a similar problem with people clicking the trackpad. I'm not doing that, my hands are no where near the trackpad.
Anyone seen this behavior? Or more importantly, a solution?

This preference has been around for quite a while although the problem you are experiencing surfaced when Apple started making their own trackpad as opposed to buying Synaptics (I that's who they were from).
One option you have which will fix the problem is to attach a mouse. That way you can turn the trackpad off when you have the mouse attached. Otherwise, what you can also do is turn off trackpad clicking. Yes this does force you to use the clicker but will mean that the trackpad alone can't move your cursor.

Adobe Reader: Jumping pages

Hi,
As there does not exist a newspaper app for BlackBerry OS10 for my daily newspaper I have to download the newspaper as PDF-file, the size is between 10 and 90MB. The preinstalled Adobe Reader would be great, but when scrolling within the document and zooming into the PDF file resp. the text, the Adobe Reader often jumps to another page, e.g. from page 5 to page 20. This is not a good user experience!
With my older BlackBerry devices I never had such an issue!
Is BlackBerry aware of this "Jumping-pages-problem" and is there a software solution on the way to solve it?

Can you please do the following in Reader:
Click Edit, Preferences.
Choose Documents.
Check the box marked, Restore last view settings when reopening documents.
This should do the trick.
