JumSoft Animation Compatibility
I purchased the JumSoft Animation package to enhance the graphics in Keynote. The animation works fine in Keynote. When I export the finished slides to QuickTime 7 Pro, the animation (flag waving) stops after the first build. The support at JumSoft says, "It seems to me that Apple Keynote does not support movie loops export. It would be possible to make loops by hand using QuickTime Player Pro. Export your presentation to movie and open it with QuickTime Player. Then use the edit line to select frames you would like to remove or add. For more information about how to edit using QuickTime Player see the help provided by Apple.
We hope that this Keynote export problem will be fixed by Apple."
Even though Jumsoft's web-site says, you can export to QuickTime with no problem, it doesn't work.
Can anyone explain to me how I can go about fixing this problem (making loops by hand) as JumSoft support claims?
17" PowerBook Mac OS X (10.4.4)
Hello,
CATIA V5 motions (animation) are not yet supported by APEX.
However you can import you CATProduct file to A3D Reviewer, create your own animation and export it to PDF format.
You will be able to play this animation in both Adobe A3D Reviewer and Adobe Acrobat 3D
Hope this can be helpful

Trying to post an animated slideshow as my hero image, but having compatibility issues.
I'm trying to upload an animated hero image on my front page. Someone had told me flash wouldn't be a good idea because not all people have flash and won't be able to view it on the website. I created my material on Edge Animate and that is not compatible. What would be the best way to get it onto the website via contribute? Remake everything, convert the file, screen capture, or something else? I'm not too sure what direction would work the best.
Yes, I have one made just like that. It scrolls through different images. Only difference is mine has animated slides. For example, the elements in one slide such as the text and background photo transition into the slide some how whether it be fading or sliding in. Anyways, I made it on Edge Animate and would like to post it on contribute. I don't want to lose the function of my back and forth arrow buttons though. I was going to attempt to screen record the actions and post it, but I also had difficulty with formatting.

What happens to the rendered animated buttons on sub-menus
I am on a 3GB of memory MacBook Pro using Encore (CS3). Here is a description of how I have produced a working DVD...so far 3 out of 5 DVDs I have tried to render have worked.
ANYWAY...seems that Encore implodes when I try to render the same project more than one at a time. Encore chokes and I am back in the MAC OS.
HERE is my main question...every time it blows it seems to blow away the RENDERED ANIMATED BUTTONS on the secondary menu. SO each time I try this again I have to re-render the buttons taking about 1.5 hours. Why do I have to re-render...why aren't the rendered 2nd level menus SAVED.
To make it clear...after I rendered the menus...previewed...saw the buttons are animated...SAVED...try to write a DVD Disc from the Current Project...succeed...try to burn another DVD...it aborts (why...I have no idea)...I empty trash...bring up Encore again...try to preview the secondary menu...NO ANIMATION there so have to rerender and start all over.
I have been reading about compatibility of DVD disc, computer players and DVD players...what a PILE...without all the techies our there we can't make a dependable environment to create, burn and play DVDs...these companies should be ashamed...all they are doing is producing a whole bunch of frustrated producers (or lack of producing producers).
Can anyone shed a light on my problem!?!?
Thanks, --bill
p.s. Are there better forums than here at Adobe? Seems I don't get many if any replies to queries.Bill,
A couple of questions, mainly to make sure that I understand what is happening.
1.) There are two files (an audio and a MOV), that show in the Orphanage, when you Check Project. Do they appear there BEFORE you Check Project, or only AFTER?
2.) Do they appear BEFORE in your Project Panel, or only AFTER you Check Project?
3.) Since they are Orphans, I assume that you do not intend to use them in this Project - right? Were they ever in the Project (Imported as Assets, or Timelines)?
4.) Was this Project started fresh, or did you modify an existing Project, to create it, say using a Save_As, etc.?
5.) If they were not Imported into this Project, were they Imported into another Project, that is/was being worked on coincidental to this one?
6.) Can you find these files on your system? Where are they located?
If 1.) is After and 2.) is After, then your Project might be corrupt. The Assets/Timelines/etc. are linked to the Project by XML. This can become corrupt for many reasons, most are often unknown - power dip, or hardware issue on Save, etc..
Two ways to check this theory, is to start the Project from scratch, and see what happens. Another is to use a freeware program, XML Wrench, and run the Project file through it. Aside from pointing out broken links, and other problems, it should also allow you to search for these files names in the body. Save a copy of the Project file, so you will have it untouched, and then remove any lines, that reference these files. Save_As (new Project name) and open that in Encore. Being on MAC, doesnt every data file have a finder file, associated with it? Could this finder file be cross-linked, in some way, to your real Assets?
It could be that there is a hardware issue, and this causes the links to the Rendered files to become broken, and also to link to files, that should not be included. Any other strange things with your system lately? I do not know the MAC folder/file structure, but can you do the equivalent of Windows Check Disk? If so, set it to find lost clusters, or whatever MAC calls them.
Also, being on PC, I do not know what utilities might be available for your OS, or what other programs might be causing a problem. On PCs, other DVD burning software, especially if their packet-writing applet is installed, can cause havoc with Encore and are discouraged. Anything else installed, and/or running, that you can think of?
Sorry to play twenty questions, but Id like to be as clear, as I can, on exactly what is happening, before I make too many more guesses.

I don't know if this is the right forum for my question, but anyway ...
Does anyone know if animated gif's are (or, rather, shold be) animated in powerpoint during presentation?
If so, does anyone have an idea why it doesn't work for me?
Best regards,
Gabriel.I suggest you head toward the Microsoft Office forums found at http://www.microsoft.com/mac/community/community.aspx?pid=newsgroups

How to diagnose flickering exported JS animations from Flash CC?
Quick stats on my system:
Macbook Pro Retina 2012 running OSX 10.9.3
Flash CC 13.1.0.226
I'm not experiencing an error so much as a lack of understanding about how to diagnose Flash CC JS export issues. Here's the backstory:
In 2012, my company started working with an contract sprite artist. I was using the CS5.5 Creative Suite, and we were exporting normal png sequences from Flash for use in the game. After about 8 months, my cofounders and I realized that we could both reduce the load time for the game and also allow our artwork to be dynamically scalable by switching to JS exports of our art rather than the raster sprite sheets. Here's the blog post we wrote about it: http://blog.codecombat.com/hacking-our-way-to-vector-artwork-in-html5
At the time, I didn't have Flash CC, and was reliant upon the CreateJS plugin to export the required JS files: CreateJS Developer Center | Adobe Developer Connection After another month or so, our contractor upgraded their version of Flash and we started having compatibility issues reading FLA files, so I upgraded as well. After doing some reading, I concluded that the CreateJS plugin was now incorporated into Flash CC as the HTML5 doc type, which was confirmed when I checked out the publish settings and resulting files.
This is all a rather long winded way of saying that we have legacy artwork created with an older version of Flash but are now importing all of our artwork from JS files.
Fast forward to today and we have two big issues:
1) We can't figure out how to reduce the filesize of JS exports. As discussed in our blog post, vector artwork has upsides and downsides. One of the downsides we've found is that complex art that uses a lot of shapes ends up being substantially larger (in terms of filesize) than the appearance might otherwise suggest. Raster exports skirt this because a pixel is a pixel, but vector exports scale with the complexity of the source FLA. I'm not a Flash expert, and when we get files that are particularly complex, Flash either runs out of memory exporting them to JS files or we get files that are far too large to reasonably use. To be clear, the "out of memory" error isn't a problem because even if Flash finished the export, the resulting files would be too large for us to use (plus, I've done some digging and found a tutorial for correcting the out of memory error). Our artist is not familiar with the intricacies of the JS Flash exporter, so when we get a file that's too big or breaks the export, neither of us can really figure out a way to correct the problem. We have three questions in particular:
a) Where can you view shape data that Flash is going to write to the JS files?
b) Is there any way to edit said shape data inside the Flash CC interface?
c) Is there any way to optimize shape data in Flash? For instance, in Photoshop, you can flatten images and export a psd with 500 layers as a single JPEG, is there any way to do something similar to shape data in Flash?
2) Exports frequently break in weird ways. Many of the sprites that we created a year ago haven't needed to be re-imported into our game engine for some time. But every once in a while, I need to go back and fix, improve, or tweak an existing sprite, and then I run smack into the issue of reconciling files that were created without thought to JS exports with our current system. Just last week I was running into this issue in a big way and I made a screencast for our artist (since we work remotely) that I hoped might give him a better idea of the problem: Flash Errors - Treasure Chest, Flippable Tile - YouTube
The two files mentioned in that screencast are both old (treasure chest) and new (flippable land tile). We have a few questions:
a) Why are the treasure chest frames "flickering" in the html5 preview? The problem doesn't appear inside Flash and is inconsistent between files. There are two FLA files: one in which the treasure chest is empty, and one in which it's full. The empty animation doesn't throw any errors, either when converting to the HTML5 doc type or on export, but the resulting animation flickers. The full treasure, on the other hand gives me 21 lines of these errors when I do the conversion (not when I export): "Blend Modes(Layer) is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to Normal in an instance of Movieclip <Path>." The result in both cases is the same: the animations flicker, and neither our artist nor us can figure out why, or for that matter, even begin to troubleshoot it. This SO issue seems to describe the problem, but was never resolved, and I can't find anything else that seems to address it: CreateJS Publish of Flash Project Flickers - Stack Overflow
I've uploaded the files involved to a public dropbox folder which I think you'll be able to access (Dropbox seems to be having some problems at the moment): Dropbox - flash_debugging
Since my questions are fairly involved, and my goal is to gain a better understanding of the UI, not simply resolve an error, I'd be happy to pay for someone's expertise/time in getting me up to speed. You can get in touch with me at george [at] codecombat.comHi George,
I have taken a look at the files full_treasure_chest.fla and flippable_land.fla that you have shared via drop box and found that they both uses blank keyframe(s) followed by Keyframe(s). This was an issue and has been addressed in the latest release Flash CC 2014 (released on 18 June, 2014). Can you please install the latest build 14.0.0.110 and try this out?
Thanks!

Being Told That The Lack Of Upward Compatibility in Mail is NOT a Bug
Animated GiFs, which ran when viewed under Mail in Tiger, will no longer run under Leopard's version of Mail. This is a lack of Upward Compatibility and should be viewed as a bug and not as a Design Change, that will be gotten to when the maintenance load slows down: maybe. This is the wrong way to view systems maintenance. This is what I was told by the Apple Support Center. The lack of Gif execution will not be treated as a bug, but rather as a Design Change. I attempted to report this weeks ago, only to find my original Case # is now magically gone and there no record of this problem.
After Googling a little, I'm not 100% convinced this worked in Tiger either. Here's a post about it along with it's reply:
Post: http://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/71/854613
Reply: http://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/71/854614
I also just sent myself one that I found on images.google.com and it does the exact same thing. Preview doesn't show it as animated either, but it does show the other frames in the sidebar.
I also composed a simple HTML page with the animated gif in it and used Safari's "mail contents of this page" to send it to myself. Interestingly enough, it did show as animated in the compose window, but didn't show at all when I opened the message I received.
You might be able to accomplish it by using a data: URI [1], but that seems like it might be more work than it's worth (unless it's the same image in a signature or something).

Is it possible to vary the thickness of a stroke like in Anime Studio Pro?
I'm new to Illustrator and vector drawing in general, but I've used Anime Studio Pro years ago when it was still Moho, one feature I really liked about it was how you could vary your stroke's thickness from point to point or even hide certain parts of a stroke, that feature was perfect for cartoony drawings and stuff.
Now I went over the lynda.com basics videos which gave me a fairly good idea of how Illustrator works, but this particular feature wasn't covered and I haven't been able to find it on my own.
Is this even possible to do in Illustrator?I don't see any particular new feature being asked for here. Jack basically asked if Illustrator included any so-called "variable stroke" features. Those have been described to him. Jack has not yet sufficiently described the behavior in Anime Studio Pro to which he alludes, to discern whether it is significantly different from Illustrator's treatment.
(And thanks, but no thanks; if I want to "formalize" my feature ideas, I'm quite capable of doing that myself, rather than delegating it to someone who probably doesn't understand what I'm saying. I'd say most others have communication skills sufficient to do the same.)
Other users in this forum have often asked for an elaboration of a variable stroke weight feature that they could deliberately modify after-the-fact. Think about this: They want to more accurately control the results of "variable stroke" features. (More about this below.) They have suggested (sometimes with elaborate mockups) such things as special on-object handles or (egads, no!) additional modal dialogs to controllably alter the positions of thicks and thins. Such suggestions:
Are seldom very thoroughly thought-out. In practice, they would be every bit as tedious as just drawing the path the way you want it to begin with.
Usually overlook the existing functionality. The yet-another-dialog suggestors fail to understand that the current implementation of ArtBrushes already provides that.
Universally overshoot the real-world practicality of such ideas. They all result in too-complicated interfaces with too much tedium to use them.
Almost always stem from a beginner's fear of using the primary tool of a Bezier path drawing program: The Bezier path drawing tool.
As explained at length, Illustrator already provides tools for both the "as-you-draw" (limited by the real-world inaccuracy of current stylus hardware and [I suspect] Illustrator's 1/12 second redraw response) and the "applied shape" (hindered by a few interface and option problems) methods.
In all drawing programs I've used, I invariably find the "applied shape" method superior for both loose, sketchy, cartooney work and for painstakingly accurate work. That's why I consider stylus hardware in vector programs to largely be an "emperor with no clothes." People who swear by it go to absurd stretches of "logic" to defend it, grossly--often laughably--overstating their supposed "advantages."
Fact is, when you really LISTEN to what people are saying, it boils down to this: Users (usually newcomers) think they want a vector drawing program to act like a raster painting progam, because they think that's more intuitive, and they think that the only difference between vector and raster artwork is that one is scaleable and the other isn't. But vector artwork by its nature seeks accuracy and whether they think it or or not, accuracy is what such requestors seek.
Why else does that stylus-enamored user engage in that ever-tighter re-shaping of the path dozens of times? Because he WANTS that loosey-goosey hardware/software combination to accurately match his mental image of what that raster "stroke" is supposed to look like. He is SEEKING vector-like accuracy and smoothness. But he's doggedly determined to do it with a hardware/software combination that is inherently inaccurate (i.e.; "painterly" features like Blob, Pencil, Brush, Eraser, Smooth tools; "automatic drawing" commands like LiveTrace, Smooth; "painterly" pointing devices).
All these things strive against the inherent nature of vector drawing. It's like vector drawing being ashamed of its own advantages. He does this purely to avoid the direct-drawing methods which are designed for accuracy--i.e.; those which are commesurate with the advantages inherent in vector drawing. (It's not just about resolution independence.)
So newcomer user-demand drives development to concentrate on such dubious "painterly" features, trying to make vector programs "more approachable" by forcing them to act like what they are not, while neglecting year-after-year, version-after-version, interface improvements of the features which reflect what vector programs really are. As a result, much-needed advancement of vector-appropriate features and interface elegance goes unaddressed. The net result is vector software that doesn't even feel serious anymore.
Illustrator's Brushes are best-of-class, but they all fall short because of this misdirected focus on their being loosey-goosey "painterly" and inaccuate. Here are the fairly modest improvements they despirately need, which I have stated many times over the years, and which just fall into the black-hole abyss of Adobe's feature-requests:
Art Brushes
Need ENDINGS. Art Brushes should completely obviate Illustrators' hideously outdated Arrowheads feature. But they don't, because you can't apply a non-distorting END to the paths.
Need a set of sensible default presets that demonstrate to newcomers that Art Brushes can be employed for far more commonly useful things than strained and always-disappointing attempts to emulate "natural media" like chalk or watercolor. The most useful Art Brushes are those made from extremely simple geometric shapes.
Pattern Brushes
Need an option to DISALLOW scaling/distortion of the END TILES and CORNER TILES.
Need a set of sensible default presets that demonstrate to newcomers that Pattern Brushes (provided the other improvements mentioned herein) can be employed for far more things than mere frame borders.
Ends & Corners
Alternatively, separate ENDS & CORNERS as a distinct kind of "brush" that can be optionally applied in combination with all other Brushes.
Include options for non-exclusive occurances at: Path Ends, Path Corners, All AnchorPoints, Segment Centers.
With careful thought, this feature could probably encompass, and thereby obviate the functionality of Scatter Brushes.
Art Brushes and Pattern Brushes
Need to support use of Symbols as Ends and Corners.
Need improved interface for controlling their position boxes. The crude rearmost-invisible-rectangle thing is half-baked and grossly unintuitive.
Need a double-click interface to edit their base artwork commensurate and consistent with Isolation Mode and editing Symbols. One should not have to drag the Brush artwork to the page, Ungroup it multiple times, and AltDrag it back into the Brush palette to edit its artwork.
Art Brushes, Pattern Brushes, and Symbols
Need an option to DISALLOW scaling of STROKE WEIGHTS in the base artwork.
Graphic Styles
Need a set of default presets that leverage the above-mentioned uses of ArtBrush/PatternBrush combinations that demonstrate to newcomers the range of practical things possible through such combinations, instead of just yet-another-worn-out-attempt at "gel buttons."
All Brushes, Styles, and Symbols
A better treatment for managing Libraries.
ABOVE ALL:
Illustrator's horrible interface for drawing paths and making selections needs a complete, from-the-ground-up, rework, so newcomers will stop fearing direct Bezier drawing in the first place. This is the root cause of the vast majority of Illustrator's learning curve pain for newcomers.
Illustrator's horribly scattered interface needs a complete consolidation and reorganization, NOT just yet-another window dressing pasted over the existing [dis]organization scheme.
Illustrator's horribly outdated feature set needs to be brought at least fully up-to-date with other mainstream vector drawing programs. It is simply missing too many bare-bones basic functions that should be standard-fare, and have long been standard fare in other programs (user defined drawing scales, joining of paths, proper cutting tools, path combinations without ridiculous caveats, and much more.)
If doing any of the above means breaking backward-compatibility with previous versions, SO BE IT. Stop development of this buggy, sluggish, outdated application where it is, and call the above a new product.

Animated gifs appear to have image bleedthrough in Internet Explorer 9
I have been using Photoshop on a Mac for several years to make animated gif files for our company website and for our customers as well and have never had a problem until recently. On some Windows computers, these files are now appearing with ghost images bleeding through from one frame to another. I have made sure that all layers that are not needed in a particular frame are turned off and I have tried various ways of saving the gif out of Photoshop but have had no luck. I did discover if I turned the option for transparency off in the Save for Web and Devices box the image bleed issue would go away, but then white lines appeared in my gifs instead. After doing some research it appears the image bleed problem is happening in the Internet Explorer 9 browser, but does not happen in any other browser I have tested - Safari, Firefox on Mac and Firefox on Windows. Has anyone run across this issue and found any way to resolve it? It's hard to explain to my customers that their files are fine when what they see on their screens is not. Thanks!
Joel,
You are doing nothing wrong and it is not a Photoshop issue, but a Microsoft one from what I understand after researching this earlier this year. If you were to check you would NOT have this problem in Firefox on a Windows computer, only IE. I believe it started with version 8, but can't swear to that, but I know for sure it was in IE 9. At any rate the way to "fix" it is to change the Compatibility View Mode in IE. Depending on how this view is set you may see any number of issues including the lines that you descrbe. I've included a screen shot showing where to change this. (The small icon next to the address bar.) On my computer when the icon is blue it displays incorrectly, when it is gray things look as they should. Or you can use Firefox and avoid the problem all together. We even had issues where it made our web content reflow around the graphics incorrectly if we didn't have this set correctly. What's bad about it is that it's hard to explain to your customer why their stuff looks wrong and Microsoft has known about this issue for quite a while and hasn't fixed it.
Glad you posted on here so I could post back a fix. I usually do when I find a solution, but it took us several months to come up with what was happening and I'd forgotten to post back. -
PSD files don't up-load because "maximum compatability" issues
I have a load of PSD files that don't load because they were saved in previous versions of PS when maximum compatability did not exist in preferences. The problem is they are mixed in with other files and Light Room does not identify the specific files.
When I eventually do locate one the fix is easy enough to resave with this setting.
Currently I am sorting all files by type, sorting out the PSD files, running an action to correct then upload. Really takes the fun out of this.
Any suggestions?Hi Gaspar,
Are you using a preloader for the project? If so, the default
one in Captivate waits for 60% of the project to load before
playing. Perhaps try to add the preloader if you aren't using one,
or remove it if you are to see if that makes a difference. In
Captivate 3, you can change this option in Preferences -->
Project --> Start and End --> Loading Screen.
Good luck,
David
Edit: I just tried this too and got the same results when
publishing with all versions of Flash - I was a little surprised to
see it even with Flash 7 exports, because Captivate has let me
embed .swf animations into a single .swf project file using Flash
7. I'm guessing that whatever Flash "engine" Captivate uses to
create its own FMV .swfs must be Flash 8 or 9. That would be
something that would be nice to adjust - especially because of the
lack of the ability to merge .swf files into one file. I guess I'll
send a feature request again... -
Two oam animations in one page not displaying?

</html>Hi Stephan,
this solved placing both animation on one page. Make sure all your fonts are called out in the <head> section like for example:
<script>var __adobewebfontsappname__="dreamweaver"</script>
<script src="http://use.edgefonts.net/quicksand:n3,n4:default.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Dreamweaver does this automatic for you. If you are having a font conflict I recommend under command (if you are using dreamweaver)
Clean up the font Tag and add only the ones that you are using again, sometimes they accumulate.
Good Luck. -
Black border on edge animation since V28
Hello,
Since the V28 update, I have a black border on block playing into an HTML5 animation wich run well before.
I have changed my folio compatibility with V28 only.
I intent to change the color or width on Edge Animate, but nothing done.
Do you have a similar problem ?

Which is best for 3d Animation??
Which is better for 3d Animation and graphic design? Mac or PC...and for whichever is better which laptop would be a good affordable choice? Please help! I know very little of computers.
Ok, time for a little bit of an explaination. Sorry, please sit back, grab some coffee and a snack, this is going to take a moment.
*ahem*
The argument as to which is better between PC and Mac has been raging for years. On one hand, most graphic designers that are small and starting up are convinced that Macintosh Apple is the top dog on this department. Larger graphic firms tend to switch to PC, keep mac, or use something proprietory.
Is Mac better? The general consensus is yes - straight out of the box, it tends to work better. There is no doubt, however, that you can get the exact same results cheaper if you go with a PC, but with a PC, you'll have to configure your system.
So, where does that leave you? It leaves you with program and compatibility. You need to ask yourself, 'what 3d Modeling programs have I been using? What specifications do they require? Do they have a PC and Mac version? If so, which do people tend to say works better with it?'
and..
What is everyone I'm working with going to be using? PC, or Mac? There might be issues converting things and transporting things (or at least extra steps) if I go say, PC and everyone is using Mac.
Answer those questions and you'll have your answer.

How far is the compatibility with PowerPoint and Keynote '09?
Hello everyone
I love making presentations and strangely while I'm an Apple fan the only thing I still didn't convert to is iWork
Keynote is the best presentation tool I ever saw. The problem is with playing the presentations in college or anywhere else.
I know that keynote is compatible with PowerPoint, but how far?
Will the beautiful transitions and animations on keynote work on PowerPoint? Alongside with the beautiful graphics, charts and backgrounds?
ThanksI would say the compatibility is "just good enough". If you NEED to use it you will, but you don't want to ever NEED it.
You shoud think of the compatibility as being like trying to playback high resolution, color, widescreen, Dolby stereo content on a small black and white mono tv. There are some things that old telly just won't be capable of. Sure, you can see the motion and hear something, but you're ultimately limited by what you use to PLAYBACK the content, not what you used to CREATE it.
Because Keynote has features that PowerPoint doesn't, PowerPoint will never be able to playback exactly what you see in Keynote. The reverse is true as well. -
Getting keynote '09 animations to work when using powerpoint
I have been using keynote 09 for a while to make my presentations. Unfortunately most places i present at have windows and therefore i have to present in powerpoint format. This causes me to have a number of compatibility issues especially with animations (when i say animations i mean slide transitions, text animations etc..). Either the animations are changed or the slideshow freezes up and becomes crazily slow. Is there something i am doing wrong? are there certain animations that wont work on powerpoint? is there a way around this issue? any advice would be appreciated
thanksFrom what I have noticed having to do the same (make presentation in Keynote then export to Powerpoint):
all Actions (Opacity, Move, Scale, Rotate) do not work in Powerpoint
some Build In and Build Outs do not work
all 3D Transitions do not work
What I finally ended up doing is buying my own laptop, then when I have presentation to give, I always bring my Mac and use it and then I don't have to mess with Powerpoint.
The other option is to make a timed recording so you have each slide and affect up for 2 seconds (or whatever time you decide on). Then export to a Quicktime movie and instead of advancing to the next slide, you would pause and play so it advances, but then stops on the new slide. You may still have a few problems as most PC computers don't have Quicktime installed, but they are able to download it if they are willing. -
Hey guys, I use PS CS5 v 12.04 x64 on a Mac with OSX ver. 10.7.5. I have 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM and my processor is 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7.
I usually run Chrome in the background for reference images and iTunes or Vox (a lighter music player) which is minimized.
The crashing occurs usually with the transform tool or while doing animation. This has started happening only an hour or so ago... I usually work in 300 dpi and scale down when I need to. My Mac is a bit over 2 years old but tends to heat up pretty often. Again, never reall had crashing problems before til now.
I haven't made any changes/updates lately. I would appreciate any help since I have some deadlines to meet this week
