Looking to fill an Acoustics Engineer position in Jackson, TN
Looking to fill an Acoustics Engineer position in Jackson, TN. If you are interested and have at least three years experience please email your resume to [email protected] along with your salary requirement.
Best regards,
Catina Cypress1) Can B/R Engineer be an entry level position? Meaning that u never done the job but there are plenty of ppl and resources around to get you started;
I have seen a lot of entry level BnR positions and roles, but personally, i dont think its a good idea. A BnR person needs to have atleast 3-5 years of experience in development/testing/infra backgrounds before getting into some real serious BnR activity. Again, thats my personal opinion :)
2) Is there a lot of coding involved in this position? I know there is scripting but what else in terms of actual coding
Honestly. No! Yes, a lot of scripting though. Prior development experience would definitely help trouble-shooting a lot of issues.
3) What are the most important tools that I should have knowledge of. I'm talking about the ones used industry wide. I know my company has some custom (in-house) built tools for that but what are other companies using?
Source Control Systems: CVS, SVN, TFS, GIT
Continuous Integration Tools: Hudson (Jenkins), Cruise Control
Scripting: Perl, Shell, ANT scripts
Databases: Oracle, Mysql
This is just a pointer, there are many more which I'm missing.
4) What would be your advise for the interview? What should I have prepared and what areas of my experience, work ethics and capabilities should I emphasize on and what should I be quiet about?
Process Orientation, Communication skills, Problem solving, and knowledge on the topics suggested in the previous point.
5) Any other information that you think could help me getting this position.
Well, one needs to be passionate about this role. You should go for it, only if you feel strongly for this position :) -

Field due date coming compulsory at entry level
Hi,
I have created the employee as vendor. When I am using a special gl indicator z with posting key 39 the field u201Cdue dateu201D becomes compulsory entry. When I am using the other key the same field is not compulsory. The settings for the above is as follows-
1. Special indicator reconciliation account- The filed status for this account in FS00 is having the u201Cdue dateu201D is optional entry.
2. Posting Key Field Status u2013 Here the field u201Cdue dateu201D is optional entry.
Thus in both the settings, account field status and the posting key field status , the due date is optional but it is coming compulsory at entry level. How can I make this field optional at entry level.
Please help to resolve the issue.

Edited by: NITIN on May 6, 2009 8:13 AMI am on my 2nd new (late 2013) Mac Pro. The first one had problems in booting up reliably when 2 monitors were used. I took it to AppleStore and a specialist verified that as well. He reocmmended that I send it back. So I did.
Today is the 8th day of my 2nd Mac Pro. It had problems connecting to wireless keyboard when I first got it. The wireless mouse connected okay and it was just the wireless keyboard that had problems. I contacted AppleCare and spent hours with them and finally got it to work. Since then, there was one time that the wireless connection was dropped for a short time and came back. Other than that, it has been good for the last 7 days.
These two Mac Pro machines are the base model, quad-core and 12GB of RAM.
My experience with Apple products is that they usually have problems when I first get them. Then it takes some work to make them reliable. In addition to these two Mac Pros, I had 4 new Mac laptops in the last 12 months (1 MBP and 3 MBAs). They all had problems when I got them. I had to return 2 of these laptops as well.
I am sure that my experience is not the norm. Apple products are supposed to work and work reliably. But all the 6 Apple computers I got in the last 12 months had problems. I am a software engineer with 20 years of industry experience in networking/software areas. I cannot explain my experience at all. -

Where to find entry level sap jobs with a Terp10 Certification
Hello I am a soon to be college graduate graduating this December.
My question is with a Terp10 certification and no work experience what can I expect from the job market. Are there companies that hire college graduates with no SAP work experience? Are there any resources that help graduates find entry level SAP jobs.Hi ,
Welcome to the World of SAP !
As a fresher there are lot of options to start the career in SAP domain . As a fresher doing a certification *** training with out any prior experience , the opportunities for getting a job will be very less. SAP is a Enterprise business software which has the Technical ( ABAP,BASIS .......) Functional (SD,PP,MM,FI,...) Techno Functional modules . Choose a very option to get started . Getting a right career is not a tough job for you , search in web , read about sap , lot of online information ,forums available . choosing a career is a brainstorming work , my suggestion drop the idea of doing certification , as you are a fresher and very difficult to get a job without any experience . Please check the links to get start . good luck

The new Thunderbolt technology in Mac mini is phenomenally fast. It features two 10-Gbps channels for data transfer. That’s up to 12 times faster than FireWire 800 and up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0. But beyond speed, Thunderbolt technology gives you unprecedented expansion capabilities. You can daisy-chain as many as six Thunderbolt peripherals, including the new Apple Thunderbolt Display. And since Thunderbolt is based on DisplayPort technology, your Mini DisplayPort devices plug right in, too.
