How do I filter out junk mail on iPad ?

The iPad do not have junk mail filter.
Gmail have very good junk mail filter.

How do I put junk e-mail in the junk mail box on my iPad automatically like it does on iMac?

That is a function of your email providers server when it comes to iOS. The mail client does not have any way to create and run rules.

Not too sure about the last part of your post but you have to manage your emails on each device if you are using a Pop3 account. It is only IMAP which provides for synchronisation across all devices. If you are not familiar with this then Google IMAP AND POP3 for more information.

Junk mail since using iPad

Since using an iPad I am receiving more and more junk mail. I have tried to add to Blocked Senders but I still receive them. Anyone else suffered from this?

The Mail app on the iPad does not have any junk filtering capabilities. You'd need to log into your email account through your email provider's web page and see what type of filtering they offer on their side.

I suggest you rely on your email service provider to do that. If you're not happy with your provider's filtering, Gmail has a good reputation for filtering spam.

On my computer in Mail, the system will remember what emails I send to the junk mail folder; therefore, automatically sending such emails to the junk folder for me. I love this feature. In iPad 1, this feature does not exist. Does it exist in iPad 2 Mail? Or will it in iPad 3?

It does not exist in the Mail app on the iPad 2, which is the same iOS/app as on the first gen iPad; the iPad 3 does not exist and no-one on here will know what it may be able to do until if/when it is announced by Apple. There is no junk mail setting/filtering on the iPad, it needs to be done on your email provider before it reaches the iPad.

There is no junk mail folder on the iPad unless you have an IMAP email account in which case you would already see the folder in the mail app. Without an IMAP email account, you cannot create additional folders in the mail app.
