I am working for active noise control inside a duct, I am using real time application with sampling rate 10 000, max. frequency 1500 Hz and 2 outputs.
I had a DAQ card 6221 M series is this sufficient for this application or I might use another.

HT4972 Did I just lose everything on my IPAD for the last year because it said to update it, not giving an option to back it up first? Its updating with ITunes now but under the RESTORE option. There was no way out of this.

My IPAD2 had a pop up message that an update is available, to close or click on details, so I clicked on details. It took me to an upgrade box, no back up options. I clicked to upgrade it. It downloaded for awhile, then turned off, and when it turned back on, it directed me to plug into my ITUNES with the USB adapter, which I did. When ITunes came up, it said I had to restore it before I could use ITUnes. Again, no other options. I am worried that I just lost everything on my IPAD2 for the last year, apps, photos, documents, settings, email, etc. It is still downloading after 30 minutes. I'm not sure what happned either but If you are doing this via iTunes, iTunes should have backed up the iPad first. It can take a good bit of time when you update with iTunes on your computer because iTunes downloads and installs the entire iOS all over again. If you are running iOS 5 on the iPad, and you will be now, you can update OTA via WiFi in the future and the process takes far less time since you will only be downloading an incremental update.
If you are syncing on a regular basis with iTunes, you should have a recent backup. In the worst case scenario, you should be able to restore from the backup. And as stated aboce, you can download all apps again and virtually all purchased content from iTunes (if you live in the U.S.) and you can always sync your iTunes library back to the iPad.
Let the update finish and see where you are then. Come back if you need help.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

# Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
# Locate the preference '''keyword.URL''', double-click on it and change its value to the link shown below

Just want to echo this complaint.
I have tried re installing Aperture 3 and I've looked for preferences or something to clear, but nothing helps. It continues to crash each time I open it no matter what.

This new update for the iphone has me troubled. Nowhere did I see where it was only good for 3GS,4S and or 5. Is this update also good for the 3GS? I'm reading people are haing trouble.

iOS 6 can be loaded without problem on the 3GS. Not all features are supported however.
With respect to your reading people are having trouble, what did you expect to see on this technical support forum? People don't write in to state they have a trouble-free upgrade.

minimum system requirements
    * 512MB of memory (I say 1.5GB for PPC at least, 2-3GB minimum for IntelMacs)

Trouble is appl no longer sells it, you have to search eBay & such for the full retail version, not any grey Install Disc.
There are workarounds if the 867MHz is the only hangup...

U can take help of some ABAPER.............
Actually..........a vriant is something like a specific selections............for an example...... if you have a report instead doing the selections all the time.. you save the selection as variant............it reduces time..........errors in input...........you can schedule a background job only using variants........
Generally..........we create a JOb in SM36.........as already said............there the job is created using the program and the variant..............while executing the job...........this program get executed.........

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not inlcuded synced media like apps and music. Thes those iTunes are not restored to the iPod unless they are in the iTunes library.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If you have any podcasts in your iTunes library you should see a Podcasts sync setting tab to the right when you connect your phone and click on its name on the left sidebar (see image below). On this tab check to sync podcasts and sync your phone.

Hi all, I am confused.
I am looking for How to enable logging for the webservices connector.

explains how to enable Web Service Configuration Tool, not Web Service Connector. I follow these instructions and log only the web Service Configuration tool usage, not Web Service Connector.
In Microsoft documentation point to logging.xml, but this file has GALSYNC log configuration, I did no t find
Logging level section:

I just downloaded Maverick on my Macbook Pro from 2011. When I try to open iPhoto, it says that I have an old version that doesn't work with Maverick. None of the solutions stated on this forum work for me, because there are no options displayed.

After downloading Maverick on the MacBook Pro that I bought in 2011, I am unable to open iPhoto. The message says "You can't use this version of the application "iPhoto" with this version of OS X. You have "iPhoto" 9.2.3" What??? That is ridiculous. Why doesn't Maverick download everything? I've tried the "fixes" I found on this forum, but none of them work for me, because there is no workaround via the library. I can't access the library.

I have an old iPhoto version and it still works with Mavericks, the version before yours, that is puzzling.

Does the RSS feed of this forum work for anyone else?

Call me old school but I still use RSS feeds to keep up with stuff and last month the feed for this forum quit working. After some investigation I discovered that it is not valid anymore :(
