You should be able to redownload the game without cost. However, the levels/scores are gone unless you have a backup in iCloud or on your computer. Some on-line games store the levels/scores on the game's servers, not on the iDevice.

I've just accidentally deleted a folder containing many important documents. It's deleted, not simply just 'cleared'.
I'm using the Adobe Reader app on my iPad operating iOS 6.1.3
Is there any way these files can be recovered?

The question is whether you do backups of your iPad. You can backup your iPad either to your computer or to iCloud. If you do either of these it should back up your data.
If you haven't backed it up, or do not have another copy on another device, you're out of luck.
Backup is an essential principle of using computers, and the iPad is another kind of computer.

If you backed up the phone when the video was still on it, restoring the backup will get it back. However, anything new on the phone since the backup will be deleted.

It is pretty amazing you got a new version without even knowing it.
In System Preferences > App Store you can turn off the automatic updates by unchecking "Install app updates" as I've done here:

Probably you have opened a blank Layout template which requires a Textbox for you to type into.
Open a blank Word Processing template instead. The two types are listed in the Sidebar of the Template Chooser.

Had you never backed up the phone before? When you saw the iTunes logo and cable, the device was in recovery mode. The data was already lost. The only way to recover from that is to restore the device, which will delete all of your data. You will only be able to restore to your last backup, whenever that was. Sorry this happened, but this highlights the importance of doing regular backups. The backup is the only protection you have against a problem like this.

It does seem that i still have a "adblockplus" file that is in my firefox profile files (though i guess that could be the file for the "Element Hiding Helper extension for Adblock Plus" which wasn't deleted.)
. . .i would very much like to restore it, as i mentioned above i had many of my own customized blocking rules, along with rogue antivirus/security/software, phishing, malvertising, malware blocklist, etc..
In the mean time i'm going to copy those "adblockplus" files that are in my firefox profile files (that i mentioned above) ..in a zip file on my desktop in case it goes missing, and go to "Adblock Plus" and add it along with a few of it's blocking rules for now.

Hi Teagan, were you able to recover your rules?
Many times, when you remove an extension, its preferences are left behind, so there's a good chance that reinstalling the extension will enable you to recover them. OR, it may reset them, which would be the opposite of what you want.

There are advantages of using the direct download and installing over what is installed. It is the way I have been able to back out a buggy Adobe CC update. You do not need to backup yous system first and remove all of Adobe's software and clean your system of residual Adobe rat droppings. Downloading is not part of the installation for you have downloaded. You also now have your own copy of the install should you have problems in the future to re-install with. When you do install your activation is still intact and all that you have added to Photoshop is still there and functional and does not need to be re-installed. You do need to use menu Help>Updates to update CC for the install install CC version 14.0 The normal install will most likely do the same and need to be updated. Don't know for sure I only installed CC that way the first time I installed CC. The other two Installs I did were from the direct install. One was to back out Adobe bad CC update. You can also download all the CC updates and selectively install the ones you need. It took Adobe a month to fix their bad CC update. The other install I had to do was to recover some CC file that became corrupt which caused some other CC update to fail to install. After the re-install the update installed without a problem. If your working on an external hard drive, just drag/drop back in the Final Cut Projects folder, and re-open FCPX

The default playlists are just Smart Playlists and you can recreate them. In iTunes go to File>New Smart Playlist
Recently Added:
Match the rule "Date Added">"is in the last">"1">"Days" make the days and the interval to suit yourself, you can have days, weeks or months.
Also check the box "Live Updating"

If the App store is hidden by Restrictions, it will not be enabled by Reset Home screen layout.
You need to re-enable Installing Apps in General > Restrictions.
