Just admit there is a problem with the latest update.

Why keep telling people to uninstall, install, update, test, check, double check, test again....When all the solutions being suggested just don't work for most people.
There is obviously a big problem, over the last two days i have done almost everything that has been suggested, and more, and still there is a problem on both computers in my home.

Hi, What you are describing is called Troubleshooting. It would be very easy if your opinion was true, but it isn't. Have you ever read the multiple Microsoft, Firefox, Apple, Motorola, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, HP, Youtube and Dell FORUMS? Well, I have and do and I can tell you I'm surprised that Adobe Flash Player can design a Flash Player to work in and around all of those Operating Systems and Technology Companies!! And there are hundreds of more companies that I do not have time to mention.
And no, I am not an Employee of Adobe.
Not every solution is going to work for every computer configuration, that is #1.
When people take their computers in for repair, there is an advantage, to wit: they have the computer and they can see and test it.
Here on the Forum, we that help don't have that advantage. That is why the questions are asked and various actions are requested.
If you want help, reply back with your operating system and browser(s) versions.

    After biting the bullet and ordering more RAM, my computer now is working a ton better. So that must have been the main issue. With 8 GB RAM, I can now even run Parallels fluidly (better than my work PC!) where before simple things like logging in to my MBP after reboot could take forever.
    The place I went to had several other people getting RAM upgrades at the same time as me, so between this and other comments I've seen in discussions here and elsewhere on the Internets, I take it to mean that either Apple should bump up the base RAM on its new machines, and/or stop charging so much for additional RAM.
    I refused to believe a Pro machine bought with Lion installed would come with too little RAM for light to medium usage, but it was apparently the case. I'll mark this as a correct answer and hope some other poor soul will come across this thread and be helped by it.

    That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
    I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

    If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • Are there any known issues with the latest update to iTunes on Windows 7 maxing out the processor and nearly bringing the system to a hault.

    Has anyone experienced an issue with the latest update to iTunes (11.2.0.115) for Windows where iTunes pegs out the processor at 97%, 98%, and holds there for maybe 15 minutes before dropping to 50%. During that time, the system is basically useless. You just have to ride it out. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.

  • I think there is a problem with the latest version of Firefox. When you minimize one window (doesn't matter how many tabs) on Mac, it automatically minimizes all of the other open windows. This never used to happen.

    Whenever you have multiple windows open - say one is your Gmail account and the other is a bunch of pages you're using at work - and then you go to minimize the window with Gmail but intend to continue working on the other open windows. Using Command-M (the minimize shortcut for Macs) unfortunately now sends all open windows to the minimize bar in the lower right. Which means - every time I go to look at Gmail, then put it away, I have to reclick to open all of the other windows I was working in. Can this be fixed? It never used to happen.

    Because OS X 10.4* does not have what is needed by Firefox 4.0 and newer.
    Linux users are in a similar boat also as they need certain package versions within the last few years as LTS distros (with outdated packages from 4+ years ago) like CentOS is a bit screwed on newer applications like Firefox 4.0. By your logic Mozilla should also support Linux packages from 10 years ago also which would be a really ridiculous thing to do.
    I think only the 64-bit Windows Vista and Windows 7 is really supported or will be rather when it comes to 64-bit builds (still not officially supported yet).
    Mozilla is still supporting Firefox 3.6 with updates, in which 3.6.16 can be found at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

    Hello everybody, first of all I may write some words wrong because my language is not english but what I have to say is that I have a BIG problem with my Ipad, yesterday (03-06-2014) a new update arrived to my Ipad and I accepted the update, a few minutes after I saw the download running but after a hour the download completly stopped, I asked to a friend of mine if this is normal and she said that it was going to take the whole night to do the update, today (04-06-2014) i woke up and the update was at the same place, now what am I going to do? Am i going to lose everything that I had in my Ipad? Has this only happen to me? Why has my Ipad blocked? Am I going to be told that my Ipad has no arregement just because of this?
    Attention: my Ipad has IOS 7.

  • Problems with the latest update

    When i had the last update installed, i shut down the browser last night, then when i opened firefox this morning, it automatically installed my update and then i realized that my panorama group taps button was missing. I found that after checking the support forums, but the ctrl +e shortcut still doesn't work. Also when i found it, all my groups had been erased, and i only had the tabs open that were in the specific group from when i shut my browser down last night. Then i thought it might have started up wrong, so i closed it down and it didn't even ask me if i wanted to save and exit my current tabs.. so when i started up firefox again, i had zero tabs up, and my history was completely gone so there was no way to get back all my tabs and groups from several days of things i had looked at or wanted to look at. Needless to say it was very frustrating, i don't know if there is a way to get it back or not, but i had just recently started doing the grouping tabs because it seems cool and organized, but now i have to worry about closing my browser and none of my tabs coming up again. I looked in the options to see if there was a thing to tell it to save my tabs on exit, cuz even now its not saving my tabs. The saving tabs on exit is the number one reason i like firefox..

    The CTRL+E shortcut has been changed. In fact, originally CTRL+E had been (for years) assigned to the search box. Due to confusion (both on the user side and on the developers side) they decided to ditch CTRL+E and go for CTRL+SHIFT+E (leaving ctrl+e dormant in the process). Now they're rethinking it, because it's dangerously close to CTRL+SHIFT+W, which closes everything.
    If you want to change the shortcut, there's a couple of plug-ins that can be helpful (in case you want to assign/restore the search shortcut as well):

    As for the not-saving, I can't be of much assistance. It might be prudent, however, not to use a beta version for critical work -- or any kind of work, actually, except testing and/or casual browsing.
    You can also use the "Session Manager" add-on, to save your sessions. It's 4.0beta compatible already.

  • Is anyone else having problems with the latest updates?

    I Am having a lot of problem with my iPad 2 since updating it to 8.0.2.  Face book app doesn't work nor does Bejeweled Blitz.  Deleted both apps and reinstalled again without success.
    my husbands iPad 2 is updated as well and when he plays his favorite game (spades) a advertisement appears right in the middle of it and he can't get rid of it.

    5.  If that fails, then try connecting your device to a different computer.

  • Why was there no plugin included with the latest update of Flashplayer??

    Why on earth would a company like Adobe put forth an update to Flashplayer and not include a plugin with it???
    It seems that Adobe is screwing up with the other big guy's as well ie, Java.
    So, what else is new. More and more companies are hiring more and more help who are incompetent. It is starting to run rampant.
    Who knew? When things went at a slower pace they were done right. Not Half A#@$#.

    Not sure what you mean, Flash Player is both a plugin (for Firefox and other browser) and an ActiveX control for Internet Explorer.

    Sorry, that "mail" thing isn't a standard part of Firefox. Seek support from the developer of the add-on you have installed that added that feature to Firefox. Support contact information should be on the download page for that extension.

    After update the program will not run. No matter which method I choose. I.E. Run as administrator. Double click.
    I tried starting multiple windows but when each one get to a few 2000 mbs showing in Taskmaster they re-treat and close down??
    Uninstall and re-install the old version and everything is hunky dory?
