Just bought a g30 and would like to turn off the date/time.

I cannot find how to turn off the date/time so it does not show in my movies. Lots of other stuff to learn, too.

Are you asking about turning off the data code (date/time) during playback? If yes, look on page 147 of the manual for instructions on how to turn it off during playback. Link to Canon Vixia HF G30 manual.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
If your receiver is connected to your TV by HDMI and has a spare HDMI input port, then yes plug the HDMI cable from the Apple TV into your receiver.
If that's not possible the HDMI lead from the Apple TV can go straight to the TV and you can connect the receiver to the Apple TV with an optical audio cable.

If you want to stop sending reports to Apple and developers when apps crash, then go to System Preferences, click on Security & Privacy and click on Privacy. You will then see on the left side of the window an section for Diagnostics & Usage with the option to turn off sending crash data to app developers. Does anyone know how to turn off the alarm that beep three times when you turn off the car to remind you to take off the face plate? I don't want to take off the face plate, and the beeping is driving me crazy! The manual say you can turn it off by setting CAUT ALM to OFF, but there is no CAUT ALM option in my settings. Normally an Elements purchase is good for both platforms. You should only need to download and install the Mac versions of the programs and install and activate them using the serial number you have from the opriginal purchase.

I am working in photshop elements 13 organizer, album view, and would like to resequence (rearrange) the photos shown in the album but am unable to do so. My understanding is that you can click on the phots that you want to move and drag it to a new location within the same album. After i select the photo that I want to move and click on the photo, I get a cirlcle with a diagonal throught it and am unable to drag the photo to its new location. What am I doing wrong? I know this should be a simple thing to do. Thanks

In the Elements Organizer 13
The key to all this is to click on/select/highlight the Album that you have created in Local Albums.
Then make sure that the Sort By: (in the row below the highlighted "Media" header is set for Album Order.
You should see a number at the top left of each of thumbnails.
Then, click on the thumbnail that you want to move, hold down the click, and drag the thumbnail to the wanted new location
in the line up of thumbnails.
Often I had to press down hard on the drag.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Also, in Edit Menu/Preferences/Keyword Tags and Albums/Enable Manual Sorting Options, I set all for manual.
