Just bought a new iMac, with Lion, for my wife. When is was wifi with her old iMac on line with it's printer, HP C6200, no problems printing. Now that it is by itself it does not recognize the C6200...It recognizes my laser hp 1012 and laser hp 6300 but will not print to them wanting an autenication

How is the C6200 connected to the iMac, is it via USB or Wi-Fi? If it's via Wi-Fi please make sure it's connected to the router using the printer's Network Wizard. Then click System Preferences - Print & Scan and assuming the iMac is on the same network as the printer, if it is the printer should be seen. If it's not then click the + sign and add the printer. If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. If you want to transfer app dat you need to restore the new iPod from the backup of the old iPod. Restoring from backup will result in your new iPod being just like your old iPOd except you will have to reenter keychain items like passwords since those only get restore to the same device upon a restore.

I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work. First of all, I think you are confused by something.
You don't print cards. You print Certificates. So which item are we dealing with here first of all?
Also, you can't buy gifts with just Store Credit, so do you have a linked CC?

What edition of LR 5? What edition of ACR does PSCS 6 contain. If they are not parallel (same edition number x in [5 or 8].x ), is LR making a tiff or psd rendition of the image?

Sounds like then maybe a "friend" got hold of your phone and set a SIM card password. Not much you can do if that is the case if you do not know the password except go to your carrier and request a new SIM card.

I have used Lr many years without problems. Now it is inpossible to edit . Can not see the editing in main window only in the small thumbnail. Suddenly it is not possible to import raw-files from my Linux camera ( it worked earlier)

From your description of the problem, I suspect that you have a standalone license but have downloaded and installed the CC update. Or, it's the other way around. In either case, you need to install the right version.

CC does not allow the programs to recognize my new license, always asks for serial number.

I bought 2 Adobe CC licenses and installed the suite in 2 Mac Pros, in the first machine the programs like photoshop are installed complete, and recognized the license immediately. But in the second machine each program ask for a serial number or continue using it as trial. I have an Adobe ID created for this machine in the Adobe CC console and assigned to the second license. In the console everything looks ok, but the programs still ask for a serial number.
I tried uninstalling all the software in the list, erase the .plist files in Library/Receipts and Library/Preferenses, and eliminated all the Adobe files, then I reinstall everything but still have the same window asking for a serial number or continue in trial.
Maybe I have to reinstall the Mac OS, but the problem could be in the Adobe Administrator site.
Any suggestion?

APSB11-05 Does not update the version of ActiveX flash plugin in Add and Remove Programs

After installing the latest update for flash player and ActiveX flash plugin the version of adobe flash plugin remains with the old version, when it actually updated the plugin. The only way to get it to update is by removing previous version and do a clean install. This can certainly affect our software inventories.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

Hi, It has always been recommended to Uninstall any current version of Flash Player prior to Installing the update.
Flash Player doesn't "add" to what is already there, it's a complete new version.
I'm not clear on your setup or software inventories. Perhaps some more information would help.

I am installing snow leopard on a new drive unformatted but it does not show the disk to install it on.? do i need to format first with one partition?

Do this:
Drive Preparation
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
When formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Complete the OS X installation.
