Just bought Elements 2012 bundle for Mac and crashes

I just bought the Elements 2012 bundle loaded it into my fairly new Mac and Premier won't startup and Photoshop Elements starts but then crashes.
I've uninstalled and reloaded it several times. It's just a no go.
What's with that?
My system:
2012 Intel Mac 5,1
i7 3.5 Quad core
8GB ram 1600MHz DDR3
OS X Mavericks

yes i repaired permissions
I did not have an older version of PSE installed.
I did a reinstall for PSE for the forth time and it works now but PRE hangs up still.
i will install PRE again tonight and see if that helps.
My apple apps are working fine now too by the way. Don't know what's going on here.

I just bought a 2012 with the i5 and 4 gb RAM. Something is NOT right. Right along side it -for comparison purposes is my macbookpro -2009 -dula core with the stock 4gb ram.
The OS is the same -latest Mtn Lion
The mac mini is on its knees. With ZERO programs open the RAM available is just 1,100 mb -with about 6 firefox windows open the sbbod happened ALL the time and the available memory is around 300 mb.
The mac book pro -with inferior specs -right ? - has the SAME windows etc etc and has 1,900 MB OF AVIALBLE RAM - HOWVER NO SBBOD!!!!
The Mini Mac is way to slow...but why? I just bought it 2 days ago - very dissapointed so far.
Yes, I know installing 16gb of ram will (may) fix it - but the out of the box expreince is jusy messed up!
Ideas? Thoughts? Same issue?

I'm having the exact same issue as you, my old iMac 2006 seemed more fluent and less laggy/jerky then my new 2.6 GHZ quad core i7 mac mini. If I open a app I get the randbow wheel (yeh nothing else is open) I mean come on a quad core i7 can't open one application fluently?
I too have experience very high swap files also at a 1GB - this seems very odd considering I had 1.5 GB unused ram left? The applications that ran on my old iMac seemed to work alot smoother, I was expecting with the stats that Apple launched and I read about, that this would eat my old iMac for breakfast but I'm sitting here thinking. "Is this it??" It just lacking the whole sales pitch I was given about 78 % faster here and there!
Please could you let me know what Apple say about this cause I'm wondering if I too have a faulty machine or is this the "power" the mac mini offers?
P.S. I ran the disk ultility repair (no improvement), also I time machined all the files/data from my iMac to the new mac mini.

Keynote is fantastic. If you'd like a few tutorials to help get going go to MacMost.com type keynote in the seaarch box and Gary will have some easy to to follow videos for you as quick start. Seriously you will love Keynote once you find your way around it. I've used it to make presentations that I turned into video for YouTube. Lots of luck.

I bought Adobe premiere 13 for mac and it says blank disc when I try to upload it. Why? and How do I fix this?

The premiere elements 13 and Photoshop elements 13 for Mac disc reads as blank when inserted for upload. I bought it at Staples. Now it won't upload.
Is there a reason for this? Is it a faulty disc or does it need to be activated somehow?

Some places sell the product with a redemption code and not the serial number. Then the user has to go through the procedure of getting the serial number from the
redemption code. Another factor is whether or not you purchased a Student Teacher version that may have come with a Product Code.

Are you saying that you insert a disc marked specifically for Premiere Elements 13 Mac installation, and it opens to give you a blank disc?
When you write "for upload", do you mean insert disc for installation?
You can obtain tryout installation files from the following web site and insert your purchased serial number (if that is what you have) into them during installation.

Just make sure that you carry out the web page's "Note: Very Important Instructions" so that you do not get an Access Denied message.

The subject says it all. I just bought CreativeCloud, installed the OS X installer, and when I try to run "Adobe Creative Cloud", nothing shows up. I even tried to run it from the terminal, and there's no feedback at all. It just doesn't start. Any ideas?

Thank you Jeff, killing the process and then restarting it today seems to have been enough to fix the problem! Now the CC program is running and downloading software!

Photoshop elements 10 should be able to open those files if you update to camera raw 6.7

Hi, I had the same question and I just asked the "iTunes Store/Mac App Store Customer Support" this question. They basically said that if I purchased "The Dark Knight Trilogy" I would be charged for all three movies, even though I have previously bought the two of the three movies.
It appears that movie bundles doesn't work like "complete my album" for music. If you purchased recently, you could try explaining the situation to the iTunes Support staff and seeing if they will remove "the Dark Knife Rises" by giving you store credit, then you can purchase the Trilogy instead. It could be worth a try.

BTW the platform swap is for current version of Adobe software only, if you have older version then you may have to look for Cross-platform upgrade.

I have old video clips in Photoshop Elements Organizer v12 for Mac. I want to divide some of those clips in Organizer. I can do that in Premiere Elements 12 and save them as "Projects" - but how do I get the divided clips back into Organizer?

FWIW, your profile shows that you are already on Lion - did you buy Mountain Lion?
If you purchase an OS from the Mac App Store, it will be listed under your Purchases and will be available to download again if you need it. Note: the license is only for you and is not transferable; if you sell your Mac, you must uninstall it and reinstall the original system.
If you did buy Lion - out of curiosity - since it is no longer showing in the app store, how did you buy it there? Or did you call Apple and they sent you a redemption code?
