Just bought ipod shuffle, cannot take the songs off and bought this new

the instruction book is only on line, how cheap can you get??? I do not know where these songs came from on a playlist that I did not create. How do I get rid of these songs on my itunes and also on my shuffle???? I want songs that are on my computer put on this. My 15 buck mp3 was easier.

Ipod shuffle stops playing the song after a few seconds

My Ipod shuffle stops playing the song after a few seconds, i can skip to the next song but it happens again for every song..
the thing is its random, sometimes 5secs or 10 secs or at the most a whole minute
i have updated, restored, reinstalled an all that but i really dont want to send it back as im in afghanistan and would be weeks before i see it again an i use eveyday!! for running.. i thought maybe sweat had got inside it, its not the headphones i have already tried swapping them.
please help out a soldier in need?

mine is doing the same thing; I have updated it, and restored the factory settings, and it still isn't working. I use mine for running as well; I think it has something to do with the sweat. Hopefully someone posts with a fix.

Why not? As long as the SIMs are from the same carriers the phone(s) is/are locked to, if ithey are locked.

How long have you had your phone? Because if you've had it a long time, the battery in the phone might of died on you. Or have you dropped it in water, snow, from high up? All those things could of disconnected something internally in your phone, or permentaly damaged the internal hard drive its self, or the sims card.

When I plug in my ipod shuffle(early model) the songs do not appear on play list. Play list shown is wrong.Any ideas?

Some I had deleted before and some songs that I have never had on my ipod. appear on the list I do not knw via the computer what is actually on my ipod. Any suggestions. Why cany itunes leave things alone. If it aint broke dont mend it. This has only happened since I down loaded the latest itunes.

Make sure that your music is in the format supported by the iPhone. I use either MP3 or AAC.
A friend had the same problem a while back. All his music was in the WMA format and is therefore not playable on the iPhone and would not copy. Once he converted his songs to MP3 they copied to his iPhone without problem.

I just bought this new icloud back-up.... as soon as i downloaded it to my iphone 4s most of my music won't play on my phone. They skip over and over till it finnally catches a song and plays it. then it will stop and i have to hit play once again.

i guess you are referring to iTunes Match. It sounds as though you haven't downloaded all the content and are trying to play your music over a poor connection.

A large number of songs, my kids bought under an account that nobody knows the password to. The account name I know, but the email address associated with it is no longer available. How do I authorize the songs to play on this new computer.

A large number of songs were bough under an itunes account that we no longer have the password for nor access to the old associated email address. I know the account name but it no longer exists. How do I now authorize these songs to play on this new computer. I do know my current itunes account information.

It's not a good idea to post your email address on public forums, I've asked the hosts to remove them.
All content is tied to the account that downloaded them, and you can't currently transfer them to a different account. If you don't know the password to that account then you can try getting it reset via this page http://iforgot.apple.com . If you can't get it done that way then you can try getting access to the account by contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. If you get access to it you can then change the primary email account on it to one that you have access to : http://appleid.apple.com

I lost my ipod about a year ago. I just recently found it and have learned that the songs that I downloaded from my computer to the old ipod are no longer in itunes. I cannot download the songs off my old ipod to my computer to load on new ipod.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings

HT4528 I have 50 GB of music on my Iphone however when I go to play something there is a red square with a circle around it. When I press play it just fades or shuffles through all the songs from that artist

Anyone know what is going on with this icon when I go to play songs that are supposedly on my device they are not. I synced my whole music library and the songs are not there. Sometimes if igo to play an artist it just shuffles through the songs but doesnt play any of them.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

HT3964 Done all of the above but still it doesn't turn on. I just bought this new battery and it drained because I went on a trip. I didn't use my computer for 2weeks and now I need to use it, it won't turn on.
