Just bought refurbished -- mistake??

Hi,
I just bought a refurbished 80G classic for $219.00 + taxes. I thought I was saving so much $$ because it said original price is $349. It's on its way here and I just thought to look at new ones to see what I might have been missing out on, and the new ones are only $249! What's with that? Is it that the original price of the refurbished one was $349 when it was sold the first time, but the price has gone down since? Did I make a mistake? I'm thinking I should have paid the $30 extra to get a brand new one.
Does anyone know what the difference is between the new one and the previous generation that I just bought? I feel pretty silly for not shopping around before placing that order, and just falling for the marketing on the refurbished goods page in the Apple store. Should I send this one back and get the new one instead?
I'd appreciate any input...thanks!

Thanks GLNHP. I've just compared the specs again and they both have video and all the same features, with the exception of less weight in the new one. I've concluded I made a mistake with my purchase, and will send the refurbished one back.

I called Apple Customer Support (1- (800) 767-2775) to check on how much they charge for the gray restore disks that originally came with the MacBook and was quoted $16 dollars per disk plus S & H. Which would be $32 for the two disks. Just give them the serial number of your MacBook and they'll know which ones you need. With the original disks you also get the iLife that was current when your MacBook was bought included on the #2 disk.
If you only want iPhoto or other single apps from iLife '11 you can get them from the App Store if you're upgraded to 10.6.8. iPhoto, iMovie or Garage Band for $15 each

Somebody told me I should have let it discharged and then to fully charge, but I didn't do it, my iphone is working very well, the battery too but I'm worried if the battery lifespan is gonna get worsen soon if I didn't abide by the rules and procedures of battery charging.
I had problems on my previous iPhone 4s, it died because I didn't replaced the battery with a new one because my battery never worked well and I never knew it , the battery used to overheat my iPhone and it caused to damage my processor completely to death. Who does the replacement of the iphone processor? I need help how to maintain with the iphone battery. And also let me know if I did something wrong that I should get worried about or not ?!?!

Apple does not fix the iPhone 4S, they replace the phone. If not covered by warranty, called an out of warranty exchange. Cost is US $199. Make an appointment at any Apple store.
Be aware, Apple does not sell iPhone parts, thus there is no legitimate source for genuine parts.

I've just bought an iPhone 5S in the UK, seems like a big mistake, but luckily by law we can return goods, which is exactly what is going to happen if I cant get this to work. This is my business phone, not having it functional can cost me money.

I'm happy you figured it out and just try to keep in mind that not everyone you talk to at support will give the same advice or have the same knowledge. Just like those who contribute to these forums. Sometimes Google is your best friend.
I agree that Apple could probably make it easier, but as of yet prefer security over freedom. (sound famaliar?)

Just bought this refurbished iPod Touch 3G about 2 weeks ago. It keeps switching off and rebooting on its own fairly often. I wasn't sure if it was because it was refurbished or if I needed to contact support to exchange it.

If it keeps happening after restoring to factory defaults/new iPod then I would say it is defective and should be returned.

Just bought a refurbished ipod nano g1, when trying to start it up for the first time, sometimes the apple logo will pop up and stay there for hours and wont let me register my ipod in itunes and other times it will just be a blank screen.
Tried the 5 R when the apple logo popped up, however when i did the "menu and centre button move, but the screen will shut off and wont start up again.

There should be an option (on the left hand side of your iTunes) for your iPod. Then when you click on it you will just need to setup and there will be an option to sync at the bottom right hand corner

However, the shipping estimates are only that; estimates. It is just as possible that it will not ship today, possibly not even tomorrow. All you can infer is that once shipped, it is more likely than not to reach you the day after.

Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for testing, and if it is defective and under warranty they will replace. Since you say iPhone 4, was this a used or refurbished iPhone?
