Just bought second mini but it has different SMC (Firmware?)

I just added our second Mini to the mix here, and noticed while setting it up that it has a different SMC # in the System profiler.
Both Mini's are mid 2007 models, with the same specs. (2.o C2D, 2G Ram,, etc) and both have the same Boot Rom - MM21.009A.B00
But the value for SMC Version is 1.19f0 on the older one and 1.19f2 on the newer one.
Did I miss an update somewhere along the way for the 3 month old one? Can't seem to find it if I did.
Anyone know what these values are for, and what the difference indicates?

Click here for information; an SMC update is only released if the newer version contains added functionality for previous computers and has been qualified for those computers.

I had to format it after I bought it so that it could work with windows and Mac and I'm afraid that if I erase the info in the hard-drive, the format will also change. Is that possible to happen? Or the format will stay the same?

Do you want to continue to use it to share and store files between Windows and NTFS and Mac which uses HFS?
Maybe you need another drive. I would never have only one backup and one "live" data set.
you probably installed something, whether it is current or well supported or not, that came with the drive to allow writing to NTFS.
TimeMachine has to use HFS only and use Apple GPT (GUID) format.
sometimes erase changes a drive to GUID when you click on the raw hard drive name in Disk Utility. other times you can erase a volume and leave the partition format type as is. The wording use to be clearer when people knew when and how to initialize, format and setup a drive. And sometimes a message on the screen says it will be only launches Disk Utility and not to the PARTITION tab to make changes.
In addition to TimeMachine, having a clone of your system or data or both can be very useful as well. Drives fail.
And with a MacBook Air you probably have a smallish internal hard drive and might need to store media files and data on another drive to supplement the internal SSD.

Yes, any version of PSE qualifies for upgrade pricing, but if you're in the US you might want to consider running the trial for now and waiting for the black friday specials, when the full version will be a lot less than the adobe upgrade price.

Did you or your friend follow, exactly, the instructions on the page that FoxFifth linked to when creating a new account ? I've just tried it on my computer's iTunes and the instructions still work, I get the 'none' option on a new account

Why not just create an Apple ID for her and then you wont have any problems. Login on iMessage and Facetime using her ID and do the rest with your ID. It will work i tried it on my iPad

Can you please try the following?
- first make sure that you have flash player up-to-date. You can get the latest version from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Now log into story wait for some time to see if this resolves your issue or not
- If it doesn't then try opening private browsing/incognito mode of your browser and try logging into Story from there
If you are able to login then you should try clearing cache and cookies of your browser

FaceTime is not available on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This is by government decree. The FaceTime app can't be downloaded or installed on these iPads.

You cannot transfer the purchases to another account. What she has purchased with your account will always be tied to your ID. That's the way that it works. You can have her create her own Apple ID to use with Cloud account, FaceTime and Messages.
But if you create a new ID for her, she will have to flip flop between the two Apple ID's in order to update apps, and if she wants to make purchases with her own ID, you also have to consider the fact that she may run the risk of locking herself out of her own ID by downloading a past purchase using your ID, after she starts buying with her own ID.

Did you try it with the iTunes your Mac already has?
Try running Software Update in your System Preferences. That should bring your computer up to the latest software available for 10.4. You would end up with an older version of iTunes, but that may be good enough to activate your iPad.

To replace your phone's screen costs $109US and I don't see why having Apple replace the screen would void your warranty.

I bought, installed, erased, reinstalled again but I still can not see the photos. They seem to be existing in "open-in" folder. When I tap, it goes back to "Home" screen.

Have you contacted the developer? They would be the best people to help with their product.
