Just bought z2 cant connect to tv

Ive just picked up a z2 when ever I watch a film im unable to either use screen mirroring or throw function where as my previous phone did... I have an lg smart tv
Ive downloaded nearly all video player apps from the play store and non of them work for me wherw as my previous phone did.
ive followed all of the user guides etc to try and get this to work... and nothing!!
Is this a known issue that will be rectified? As if i cant to this then its a game changer to the point of me getting rid of the phone and going back to samsung (which id rather not do)

Screen mirroring is only available as an option with Sony Smart TV which is connected to the same Wifi network (i.e. router).
U should be able to throw pictures, videos from your phone onto a non-Sony TV.
What I did with my Samsung TV in the past was:
1. ensure both TV and Phone are in the same wifi network
2. select a photo or video press throw (found on the top of the media file) and the phone will start detecting devices in the network that supports this function.
It is possible not all TVs can support throw especially those more than 2 years old. I cant remember the name of the feature.. think it's either miracast, DLNA or something.
Get your set changed under warranty.

Is the status light green?
Your Airport device may be in Bridge Mode.
Airport Utility 6:
Open Airport Utility, select the Airport Express and click Edit. Navigate to the Network tab and change Router Mode to DHCP and NAT. Then click Update on the bottom right.
Airport Utility 5:
Open Airport Utility and click Manual Setup. Navigate to the Internet icon and change Connection Sharing to Share a Public IP Address. Then click Update on the bottom right.

2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Many free wi-fi hotspots require that you register first - agreeing to their terms and conditions, etc. This is usually provided via a web page with Safari provided immediately after connecting. If the register page is provided via Flash, you won't see it and you won't be able to register.

I have just bought a new ipod shufle and cant find the sync button. The problem is that i have an old shuffle already registered. I have downloaded the latest itunes on my laptop but cant see my new ipod listed anywhere, can anyone help please?

That's not a problem. You can connect multiple iPods to your computer at the same time, and each one appears separately in iTunes.
If this is the first time you are using iTunes 11.x, the sidebar (along left side of window) may not be visible. If so, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the shuffle, if your old shuffle is a different type (2nd gen). When connected, it should appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES. If you connect both shuffles at the same time, they should both appear under DEVICES.
If that does not happen, please post back.

Is it fully charged? What version of iTunes do you have on your laptop? At this stage, it would be best to update your iTunes, even if you have it, to version 10.5.
Open iTunes and the iPad should appear on the left sidebar under Devices.

It seems that I have to download the HTC software for the phone called HTC Sync Manager, but app won't open on the Macbook Pro because it's "unidentified." PLEASE HELP! OK Folks i believe i have actually found the solution. I know i am a bit slow but i only got my New HTC One 32gb today (it was free from Three). Like you it would not connect to my Mac or work PC. So here is the way i got it to work. Download Android File Transfer if you have not already got it. Make sure you have USB Debugging setup etc. Now you need to download a free programme called SyncMate. I used SyncMate 4 because i am running OS X 10.7. There is a paid for version of Syncmate but we just want the free version as it seems to contain some drivers that will make Android File Transfer see you phone. Download SyncMate, install it as per usual and hey presto when you plug in your HTC One Android File Transfer should open automatically...BINGO!!! It worked for me which i am really chuffed about as i was just about to ring Three back up to get the phone returned. Let me know if it worked for you too :-)

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Can not connect one of my laptop to the wireless router i just bought

i just boughta wireless n router (WRT120N) from target. I get home and set it up no problem. I try my wifes laptop, which is new and has windows 7, it works good. I get to my older computer that has windows xp and it says, "windows is unable to connect to selected network. the network may no longer be in range." I am in dyin need wat am i suppose to do.

Try to change the wireless channel on the router and check..Also on the computer,delete all the preferred network and then,try to connect.

Quite right, but as the OP does not have component or composite connections not important.
To the OP, this does work, but is not the cheapest, and as it appears that Apple no longer sell an SVideo adaptor cable 3rd party it will have to be.
