Just brought ZEN over IPOD need to know
how come so many ppl complain zen got problems.Even I go another hardware forum.
ok frist I need to ask is it my set new batch?I got to the headphone problem thread and see got one member stated new and old model how it look like. I compare and is under so claim new model and I just curious is it true by look at the cover?and somemore my firmware is default version when I frist check .Next I heard many ppl complain headphone problem., lots of hang problem,ect
next if the software updated is for europe that mean mine set cannot ?cos I see is made in malaysia that mean is asian set?
and many zen users claim been to service alot of times liao ect ect
I pray hard my ZEN is good and I choose zen over ipod is because I support local product so techs or admins out there can clarify ...

secondly that does not sound right about the color bars I would take it back to where you purchased it to see what can be done it might need to be replaced cause it sounds faulty.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

You should be able to go to message, menu, and delete, then select the message that you would like to delete.

Just got Zen Micro. Need some HE

I just got the Zen Micro (5 GB). I installed the cd, and I'm not sure what firmware is, and if it's already installed or I have to do it myself. I didn't read anything in the instructions that said anything about it. What is it and why do I need it's Where do I get it's I tried to transfer songs, but when I plug in the USB cable to my Zen Micro, it says.. "Player not found". ? Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Sorry! I'm not very computer or technology savy. So help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

okay, next Q. do i need to update my firmware? i would assume my zen came with the most updated version since i just bought it. i don't know if it matters where i bought it however. i got it from amazon.com
i did install everything that was on the CD. including things that i already had, such as windows media player and acrobat.
any other suggestions for why it says "Player not found"?
i did reboot and clean up the memory twice to see if it would fix it but to no avail.
also, the screen freezes on me sometimes and i have to reboot. ?

Just bought new video ipod need help

Yesterday I bought a new 30gig black video ipod.
Using some programs i bought on the internet, i was able to convert the movie "Animal House" to MP4 and put it on itunes.
The computer I did this on was my brothers computer since my computer does not read DVDs... I thought once the movie was in his itunes and in his library, I could simply drag the movie from his library to my ipod but it is not working. I do not know how else to get the movie onto my ipod. This is the second ipod i have bought and all my music is on my computer (Windows... not mac) Please help... thanks in advanceHey again... i dont think I really told everyone what was going on so sorry...
I have all of my music on my computer and my ipod has that music from my computer.
I was using my brothers computer to download this movie because my computer does not work with DVDs and i got it in his itunes on his computer. It is in the right format on his computer. I thought once it was in his library in his itunes, I could plug my ipod into his computer and drag it from his library to my ipod. That is what i used to do with my ipod mini but for some reason it was not working with the video. Is there any way to get the video from his computer to my ipod without syncing my ipod for that computer. Thanks again.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. I just got a new iPod touch 4th generation and I'm trying to connect to my router and my iPod says, 'Cannont find network.' I don't know what to do! No other networks come up on the list so I can't 'tag' along with thier wifi. Please help. I need advice.
What type network is yu router set up for? The 4G iPod can only connect and see 2.4 GHZ networl like B, G and the 2,4 GHz N. There is also a 5 GHz N but the iPod will not even seethat network.

I just bought a 5g iPod touch and was wondering if there were any ihomes out or coming out soon that are compatible with this device. I know there are adapters and cables you can purchase to use with your existing ihome but read the poor reviews on them and was scared away. I use my ihome very regularly and need this accessory to work with my new iPod. If you have any information on this, please help!
